I completely ignored this TV in the showroom because I didn't recognize the brand name and honestly thought the price was too LOW to consider. I had my heart set on a Sony Bravia, which I've had good luck with in the past. I went home and reviewed consumer websites in which the Hisense was recommended highly. I was very glad to save the +$200 from comparable TVs and took the Hisence home. I love it! It's "smart" and will turn on when other devices like the DVD, AppleTV, or Xbox are activated. There's a cute little, easy to find button on the back of the TV which makes turning it off easy when I don't want to search for a remote - highly preferable to the little buttons on other TVs that are hard to find and even more difficult to remember their function. The picture is TOO good. When I first got it I thought it made everything look like a telenovella: super sharp, clear and bright. I guess I've gotten used to it because I'm no longer distracted by the high quality of the picture. The sound is good -- I'm not an audiophile but I frequently play music through the TV and the sound is good and sharp. I'm so glad I took a risk on a brand that isn't yet as recognizable as Sony or Vizio, but I like this TV more than any other flat screens I've had. One note: the reviews I read said the apps on this TV seem to lag. I use this TV with my AppleTV and so have never used the Hisense apps.

Easy to set up and view. Picture is pretty clear. Just trying to read more details on the settings. When it becomes a little complicated. Everything is hidden within a topic..

Great buy at Best Buy! Totally can not find a better TV for this price. Great color and the picture quality is amazing. Great purchase hands down!

I bought this 50" TV about a month ago and have loved it ever since. Fantastic picture and good sound quality. Love watching football games on it.

The picture quality for gaming is amazing. I can watch Netflix and it looks even better now with it.

Great Tv for price, nice color, nice sound, OK layout but falsly advertise. This set new mod 50H8C does not support HDR and if it does it does not work on the Xbox One s. The two HDMI ports that do support 4k our poorly placed so you will need bendable HDMI cords if you placing on wall. Good Tv but not 4k HDR

The picture looks very nice and sound quality is excellent. Very easy to set up and once connected to wi-fi, you can stream anything you want.

I’m happy with the TV but I wish it had Hulu. It’s not really a “smart” TV but it Is Cheap and it Does have a Great Picture. I’d pay more next time and get a smart TV.

Looks and feels like a more expensive tv brand, amazing picture quality does degrade at an angle but not a deal breaker only downside is the interface could be better

Great TV! For the price you can’t really beat all it has to offer. Shipping was also great. It arrived 3 Days before its estimated time.

I honestly am so happy I decided on this TV. I was in need of upgrading my TV to a 4K, but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for quality. This TV wasn't only affordable but is definitely a quality product. Great picture, great features and easy set up. But seriously, the picture is AMAZING! You can totally notice the difference from a 1080p. Great purchase.

Disappointed that in less than 3 years, 2 backlit panels have gone dim. Now there's a noticeable color imbalance on the screen. I bought 3 at the time of purchase, but I'm currently having the issue with 1. I am going to hope the other 2 don't go bad. The picture was good while it lasted, and the tv is easy to operate.

I wasn't expecting high quality but at least a good 4K picture and this one surprised me. It's not a premium product like Samsung or LG but it works fine to me.

The picture quality in HD is outstanding and the volume is way better than expected! Have had the TV for a little over a month so far and am very happy/

I previously owned a Samsung 4K tv. I paid twice the amount that I paid for the Hisense and the picture is better on the Hisense.

This TV has awesome depth of color and picture. I didn't really notice at first or really know if I believed it in the store, but then I compared the exact same shows/episodes on it and my existing tv and really the color and depth of shadows and picture is amazing.

Not familiar with how much better the quality of the picture would be on a 4K television. UNBELIEVABLE !!! The picture is so rich that it seems 3 dimensional - you feel like you are in the scene yourself. Also the 2 year warranty cannot be matched by any other manufacturer.

Picture quality well above others in it's price range and higher. An excellent entry level 4k TV. I highly recommend this TV

At its price point, this TV is excellent. Great picture, great sound. Have not had any problems with the TV up to this point.

I absolutely love this TV. Clear picture and small border. Has a clicking noise when changing channels but not sure if it’s my cable box just yet.
