    Great picture but no Bluetooth

I did a lot of research before purchasing a TV and one of the key features that I wanted was Bluetooth. Unfortunately, despite Best Buy’s website claiming that this model has Bluetooth I can assure you that it does not. I placed two calls to Hisense and both customer service reps told me that this model does not have Bluetooth capability. Very disappointed that this TV does not have all the features claimed on Best Buy, but it does have a nice picture.

Really happy so far with this TV. It must have been a very short sale as the day after it was up to 499 after i got it this past sunday for 379. I wanted something inexpensive to dip my toe in to the 4k world and this fit the bill perfectly. The quality of the picture even without viewing a 4k source is awesome and this would have been a steal at 499. Getting a Xbox one S next week so i can try some 4k films and get the full effect. The TV's i am looking at really wanting are in the 5-8 thousand dollar range so i'm going to wait about 4 years for the prices on those to be really reasonable but this is an awesome stop gap and the 4 year warranty is what finally sold me on this. Very happy with the product so far.

I purchased this when it was on sale for the $379. It was a no brainer at that price to have something "capable" of 4K for the price. I considered spending much more on a 1080P tv for a bedroom TV, but this seemed like a great deal and great options for the price. I was mixed on the brand, but when I saw in store I kept going back to this TV. The 4yr parts and labor warranty is greatly welcomed also. It actually was the dealmaker as I felt I had nothing to lose at that point. The image is very nice out of the box. Coming from a calibrated Plasma as my primary unit and calibrated DLP Projector, I can say this is deff a really bright panel. I tweaked by eye and what I like and got it much better, but it seems like turning down too low you will start to see the blacks crush quite a bit. Bumping the backlight back up a tad brings a lot of the detail back. The sound is LARGE for a panel tv! I almost find it too loud for late night bedroom listening. Volume set at 12 is pretty loud! Switching to music, you deff notice a difference in the sound modes and need to adjust to a different mode, else it sounds funky. Built in apps are great for the most part, but the lack of HULU built in is really strange. Lots of reports that this does not do true 4K. Not a huge issue for me as this is a beater tv for a bedroom, so at the price point and lack of 4K content, its a non issue for me.

The HDR isnt as good as say Sony's but it is there on port 3 and 4 of the HDMI's and movies, netflix and games all look amazing on it. It's SUPER loud too I never go past 15 on it and it usually sits about about 8-10. Truly the most bang for you buck. I say this as both a consumer and BB employee.

First I was skeptical. I've never heard of a Hisense TV, but after some review research about this product I was very impressed. Mainly because of the price of 399.99 and reviews I purchased the TV. The start up was very easy and the picture was amazing right out of the box. I did do some adjustments to fit my tastes and found this was superior to my 2400.00 Samsung we had purchased a few short years ago. At the time I was pretty sold on the Samsung, but now, wow. I wish I would have waited for this one to come out. I would trade the Samsung for a Hisense without question. Another selling factor was the 4 year warranty and in home repair service should we ever need it. I guess time well tell if this will last.

It's a great 50inc 4K TV. Looks great and has a lot of nice features. It's the only TV that comes with a 4 year warrantee. What I don't like is it doesn't support my BOSE sound system because it doesn't have RCA jack input. All so the sound for the TV is loud but no quality/Base. It needs some external sound like a sound bar or a sound bar with a sub.

I was blown away by how good this tv looks and for only $499.99 and backed by a 4 year warranty makes this a great buy.To get the best picture out of this tv,I recommend getting a 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray player. The picture quality on this tv is just as good if not better than the one you would pay up to a $1,000.00 for,so do yourself a favor save some money and get this tv.

I have a lot of experience in electronics (TV) and i'm also very picky and let me tell you this TV is a great TV. You will get a great picture with any Samsung or LG TV that's for sure, but this Hisense h8c is something serious. What is the best tv out there? the reality is that the best of the best is over 2K-3K, anything under 2K has up and downs. With that said, this tv will match any tv under 2K in picture quality. Again, all tv under 2K has more cons than pro. You may buy a tv with no blur but return it because of light bleeding, the next one may have deep black but lot of blur, etc... This tv is not perfect, angle view are not the best, but overall the picture quality of this tv is Amazing. I own a $4,000 LG and in the only category my lg beat this hisense is the angle view, everything else is the same. This tv really look good.

I was able to pick this TV up for $379.99 during the black Friday in July sale. The sales associate was very upfront with us by saying that it was a TV with a great picture, but was on the fence about how long that it would last (not being a major brand). With a little more research done, I found out a few things, 1. the TV comes with a 4 year no money out of pocket warranty. 2. Hisense is the leading TV manufacturer in Japan. 3. Hisense has purcahased Sharp. Do not let the brand of Hisense throw you off by any means, very solid TV!

Returned a Samsung KU6300 and picked up this tv Out of the box the picture was better than the Samsung Out of the box the sound was better than the Samsung I haven't had the tv long so I can't vouch for the longevity, but the warranty seems to be really good, and for the price I won't complain. The thing I don't like much: Remote is easy enough to navigate, but feels cheaply made I do wish the tv were brighter, but at this price point I can't complain as the picture is good enough for the bedroom, and it doesn't look horrible, unlike the samsung I spent a week tweeking. This tv hangs on a wall nicely, Over all I give the tv five stars 1 price 2 for the price excellent screen 3 excellent sound (You would have to be deaf not to hear it) 4 for the price it is a good looking tv 5 many more things to like vs not to like

This is your TV if you want value and a great picture. This TV takes a little tweaking with the settings you prefer but most of the stock picture settings will get you what you want. I went Energy Saving for PC and Game for the Xbox. Yes, this is my monitor. Quick access buttons on the remote for Vudu, Netlix, Amazon and YouTube. Make your videos online seem to come alive a little more too. Best bang for the $$ if you are just entering the HDR realm. Enjoy!! I know I am.

I was looking at 4K TVs I found this TV and for the price I said even if I didn't like it it would go in my bedroom. It's hanging in my living room until I get my 65 inch but very impressed with the picture quality. It does everything I want it to do I don't play games so I'm not worried about that too much but very pleased with the TV for the price and the warranty.

I bought this TV during the labor day sale. Who could turn down that offer(100 dollars off). An LG expert broke down all the essentials about the TV for me. And I was told I need a 4K tv with HDR capability for my PS4 pro. Amazing picture for the money you’re paying. If you don’t want to spend 700+ on a 4K tv. This is the winner right here. (Apple TV on top shelf , PS4 pro on bottom)

I got this tv when it was on sale during Christmas. I also bought me an Xbox One S, so my kid would stop bothering me to play on the only Xbox i had. I figured that i might as well get a good TV to go with it and give my son the 40" 1080p TV i bought last year as well. First things first.....UPDATE THE DANG TV AFTER YOU A) PLUG IT IN, B) TURN IT ON, AND C) CONNECT IT TO YOUR WI-FI. You can also use a USB flash drive to update it by downloading the latest firmware and putting it on the USB stick. The instructions (yeah, the paper book that comes with almost everything, that you you don't read) explains how to do it. OK, after that, just hook up whatever you want via the 4 HDMI ports, and enjoy. I mostly use it for gaming, either with my xbox one S, or my PC. I've watched some netflix on it, and watched a few BLUE RAY movies as well. The Xbox one S and this TV with HDR and 4k, makes playing Forza 7, Gears of War, and many other games, just look beautiful. To be fair, my wife and i bought a Samsung 65" 4K tv back in September 2016, and this TV has a picture quality that on par, or exceeds our Samsung. For the price i paid, I'm VERY satisfied with this TV, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade, or an extra 4K tv in the house.

For the price point you will not find a better value in this sz. With 4k@60 hz and hdr after an ota update makes this an absolute steal. Even better with a calibration. Only con I have about this tv is the viewing angles aren't great, not a concern if you sit in front of the tv when watching.

The 4k picture is crazy for the price. Don't have a Netflix account atm so couldn't test HDR but I could only assume it gets better. The sound quality kinda suprised me too with DBX enabled (low end presence). Had an issue with youtube running some 4K videos in FHD but clearing the cache helps. Update youtube and it's perfect but still a definite buy for me at this price.
