    This TV has been causing us challenges and we have only had it for just over a year. The screen will go black and not turn on/off. The operating system lags extremely slow. Changing channels often doesn’t work. The edges of the tv screen are also discolored. Good price, but not great quality.

    WE have not even opened the box yet. So when our renovation project is completed hopefully by 10/15/20. We will then open and install new TV.

    Hisense TV useless at 1 year mark

    We are coming up on 1 year and already have to replace. Several times a week the TV would “freeze” with tech support’s answer always being “unplug” or “take an update” (which didn’t stop the issues by the way”. We took the latest upgrade and now when the TV turns on it says “System Halted”. Support insists we can just hold the home button down to bypass the error but that doesn’t work. Best Buy doesn’t stand behind this TV because we didn’t buy an extended warranty. Beware of anything from Hisense. Customer Service follows their scripts religiously. It’s sad that we didn’t even get a year out of this TV.

    I returned this TV for a full refund, opting not to exchange it for the same model. It has some cool features, such as Bluetooth audio out, which was great, but the picture quality was sub par, especially on free tv. Many of the more popular apps (Fox, Cartoon Network, others) wouldn't load content or work at all. The set was also glitchy and would change channels or open apps at will. I had high hopes, but was disappointed.
