Had to have someone come replace the motherboard. Now it will turn on for a minute, screen goes dark and then shuts off. Unusable.

Not worth the price

Smart tv functionality is not good at all on any Hisence. Im also a gamer and having to turn on 4k on my tv settings for best quality before every game is not convenient

It runs extremely slow, oftentimes not responding to the remote control, sometimes responding to a command from 5+ minutes prior randomly. It randomly switches between inputs. Constant stuttering when watching things, even when it is playing from a physical disc. Has annoying auto-control systems that will randomly turn volume or brightness down or up, and there is apparently no way to turn this off (the option to turn off doesn't do anything.) Sometimes the television will even just decide to turn itself off. At least the visual quality is high, but only when the tv decides to work properly, which isn't often. Will never buy a single product from this company, ever again, and would recommend nobody else does, either. Garbage, poorly made products. Just terrible.

Avoid at all costs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible TV - a number of issues over the past 2 months of owning this expensive paperweight. The TV responds to the remote maybe 75% of the time. Only way to solve this is to unplug it and plug it back in which isn't easy when the plug is behind the entertainment center. Next, there is SUBSTANTIAL lag on any streaming service. Screen will be black but sound works so I have to restart the show. Both sound and picture will work but won't be synced. Need to restart again and maybe 3 or 4 times before the program will actually work. Next, the sleep timer does not work. I will set for 30 minutes and an hour later it's still on. Lastly, there is a "low storage" warning when there is over 4GB of open storage. Calling their customer service is useless as "there is no one available" to assist or they have to send a USB drive that can take 2 weeks to be delivered. It will be over a month before there may potentially be any resolution. No supervisors, no tech support, no tier 2 agents, etc. available which shows you how many issues they have with their products. Steer clear and buy from another company with a superior product and an ounce of customer service.

Horrible product.

By 2021 the bigger one had stopped working. 2022 this one stopped working. Save your money buy something else! TCLs work great for the price we’ve had two separate TCLs that have been working great since 2013. Stay far away for this tv unless you want a headache!

Disappointing but cheap

Screen quality & audio was great, however it quit working exactly 1 year & 2 months after we got it. (The warranty was for a year of course).

Force closing all the time… not enough memory!

Works good if not using the tv apps. But if you only subscribe to Netflix Disney and Hulu it will freeze up due to lack of memory! I’ve tried buying an external drive for it and it didn’t even connect to the TV…. Same thing happens when using a jump drive. Wish I knew she was buying us this and I would have added the extra $ or settled for a smaller Sony tv.

Slow and cheap

The tv is super slow takes several mins just to turn in and load up apps. I’ve had serve all times in the last 2 months where the tv freezes and I have to unplug it just to do anything. Picture is ok and sound is not bad. You get what you paid for with this cheap tv. Would not recommend. Spend the extra money for a better tv

Do not waste your money.

Won’t allow me to access any apps, and puts me back to the live tv channel scanning. Will not work when unplugged, reset, etc. I have tried to contact support for three years now with months apart with them saying someone will contact me back and never doing so. At this point they aren’t willing to do anything further to help. This television is trash and the customer support is worse.this is a common problem with hisense as the reviews and website have thousands of the same issues with no results. The display screen is now not functioning properly and I have no absolutely nothing to cause this problem. It is frustrating that I haven’t been able to use my television I bought and have wasted thousands of dollars !

Horrible waste of money, buy a better brand

I was really excited about having an Android TV to cast to and use all the streaming services. Casting has been very problematic. I usually have to restart the TV in order to connect to it. The TV also freezes the picture, but the sound keeps going. The remote won't respond anything, so I have to cut the power to the TV and restart everything. I have to do this almost every day. I would pay double the price for a TV that actually worked. My old Bravia worked perfectly. It was a little smaller, so I replaced it. Wish I would have stuck with it or gotten a better brand. I will never buy another Hisense in my life. I'd pay double the price first. The trouble isn't worth the price.

Slow TV & Poor Service from Hisense

We would hit an app and sometimes it would take 2-5 minutes to respond. I reached out to Hisense and they kept telling me to just unplug the tv and plug it back in to clear the memory. They then said they would send me an up-date for the filmware, this never happened. I ended up returning it to best buy and getting another brand. I have purchased two other hisense and generally been happy with the brand, just not the service from hisense. Best Buy made it right. The television interface is easy to use, just not convenient at all. I think I might have just got a bad television. Elite Plus member 10+ years.
