    Definitely adding Hisense to my list

    When I look for new electronics, depending on the product, I usually narrow my list of brands down to a few tried and true to make the search a little easier. That list for TV's always included the typical Samsung, LG, and Sony. In the last few years I added Vizio to the list as their quality had been much improved. I own two 55" Vizio TV's and have been happy with both. I have always been hesitant to try a brand like Hisense though. Now that I own one, so far I have been pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is excellent, even better than the Vizio's I own. It's plenty bright for a bright room, has deep blacks, and vibrant colors. The build quality seems pretty good as well, but obviously time will tell. I do like the Android TV integration as well. A little more so than Vizio's built in apps since with Android TV you can actually download apps you want. The only minor annoyances I've come across so far are the fact that the remote is larger than Vizio's simplified design and it's also infrared (meaning you need to aim it at the TV) whereas Vizio's a type of radio frequency (meaning you don't have to have it aim right at the TV for it to work). It's not bad or cumbersome by any means, I just prefer the simplified design of Vizio's. The other is just the fact that the way the rear is design, in order to use a mount you will need longer than normal screws partly due to the fact that the rear is slightly curved, but mainly the fact that the lower VESA mount holes are recessed about an inch into the rear of the TV. So I would be sure to keep that in mind when you go to mount it.

    This has been an excellent experience for my upgrade to 4K. I would definitely recommend this TV for those looking to get into 4K on a budget!

    Better experiences than TCL r635 if you are lucky

    Compared with TCL r635 2020 Model, H9G has a poorer building quality but better overall experience (when you win the panel lottery).

    Awesome tv nothing really beats it for the price but it has way to many. Defects and update problems DO NOT UPDATE THIS TV. I updated this tv and my black bars on movies were ligit grey bars

    Purchased as a pc monitor and ended up returned for a 2020 nanocell 49. This tv does not handle mouse movement well. Glitchy, laggy and in acceptable. Buy this if you want an excellent movie experience, pass if you want a good monitor.

    " It's been less than six months since I bought a Hisense TV, the latest model in the Market (Hisense - 55" Class H9G Quantum Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV).  I already see issues with dead pixels on the screen. Should I be concerned how this TV will perform in the many more years to come down the line? Will there be more dead pixels after the company warranty expires???. . Before coming to a decision on buying a Hisense TV I watched 100 of youtube videos and compared models on rtings.com and researched for 3 months whether I should be going with this new TV compared to Sony TV's. Based on the price point and features I went ahead and bought the TV. "Should I be regretting now!! ".I have a case created with Hisense and its been a week no response untill now .will see how it turns out and Will write another review after the issue is resolved ..

    Amazing picture but I have had to get two tvs now and each H9G has had a bad panel. Finally had to go with another brand.

    Can get the refresh rate to 120hz night or dark scenes are horrible nothing but squares on my screen, nothing like the display at Best Buy come to find out the Best Buy runs a true 4k show room display very dishonest from Best Buy to do that and they won’t tell you if you don’t ask, blame the bad buy on my for no doing enough research on the tv and Best Buy for o running regular programming the you would get at home
