    Worked just over a year than dead with no warning

    Owned this tv for just over a year and it was perfect until it wasn't! With absolutely no warning (tv cutting off/glitchy screen) it just wouldn't turn on one day and hasn't since. E-mailed Hisense and all I got was did you check the batteries in your remote! Really?? Should have purchased the extended warranty. I must have got a dud!

    I am utterly disappointed about this TV (Hisense 55H9G), while the display is awesome, the Wi-Fi and the ethernet are the worst. I cannot stream a 4k movie without internet interruptions. the internet speed using the tv wi-fi is always in the 100MBs but is not steady it suffers from endless slowdowns, the ethernet speed in not suitable for 4k steaming. Awful TV. I've tested my internet speeds and consistency using a Google TV dongle I am able to steam anything

    Now, to be more serious: The color is amazing, the picture is clear and sharp, and HDR is beautiful. If you really want to see what this thing can do, put it in "store mode" and watch the demo. Or pick your favorite streaming service and watch something in 4k. I am extremely impressed. I did get in and tweak some picture settings (pretty standard for a new TV) but if you're not into messing with settings, it looks great out of the box. Maybe a bit oversaturated in some colors, but some people like that. The sound is...not so good. This is part for the course with TV speakers anymore. If you use the Dolby setting, it sounds like the audio is spread out more, which is interesting, but it's less than great audio sounding wider. Use a sound bar or other speakers if you want good sound. I use this for streaming shows and movies, playing games (Xbox and Android games on the TV itself), and as a computer monitor. It is perfect for all those uses. You really can't go wrong with Hisense, and the HiSmart 4K A4FFM is no exception!

    I was satisfied with this tv when I bought it. Now, after an update from the manufacturer, I wish I could return it. Image quality changed, it is not great anymore in my opinion. Look for this issue on forums and YouTube.

    This TV is not worth the money, I regret buying this TV. The TV does not respond to the removal control, it will not connect to the internet properly all the time, there are few black dots on the screen already and freezes a lot even on a 500 mbps internet speeds.

    One day after purchasing the Hisense 55 inch television we noticed a few burnt out pixels 4 inches from the top. We contacted the geek squad who said Hisense only services their televisions. After 11 days, multiple phone calls, emails, multiple photos, and third time requesting a copy of our receipt we decided to return the tv to Best Buy before the 15 day window expired. Needless to say we purchased a different brand.

    Nearly useless after 4 months

    This TV worked ok at first but was pretty slow to load anything even right out of the box. Now, after a few months has passed, it has developed a host of problems including just stuttering and freezing and crashing out of every application you try to run on it. Netflix, HBO and Hulu work for about 5 seconds these days before becoming a slide-show and then freezing. Very unsatisfied with this product and would never buy it again

    Poor/Both Best Buy Geek Squad/Hisense

    Hisense was contacted 10 times and never contacted me. Best Buy geek squad wanted $100 to answer 1 simple question. I explained to both parties that I had major hip surgery and I could be available at any specific time they wanted me to call. Neither company cared.I had to have someone drive me to local store to find answer (using a walker). Been Customer 30 yrs. with Best Buy. They could care less.

    This tv seriously outperforms the market in this price range. Performs great right out of the box. Easy to set up. The picture quality is impressive. Vivid, sharp colors . My first 4k TV does not disappoint. The sound is crisp and clear and loud. Doesn't need to be turned way up like my last tv. . Take time to go through the different setting options for the video and audio to customize for your preferences and room. I settled on theater mode and am quite happy. I find the color and clarity a nice upgrade from the previous set before this one. Xbox and PS games are more fun on a theater quality big screen! The smart settings and apps are also convenient. Your apps and favorites are easy to migrate from your accounts, Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video etc. Screen sharing from your phone or laptop is also super easy and convenient. Still getting used to using the smart/voice activated remote and knowing when to use it. Mostly need to remember to use the voice connect feature, as it is my first voice remote. Definitely recommend trying this one out. You really can't go wrong. I am really impressed by the quality at this price point.

    The Best Buy salesman told us this brand was made in Japan and it rivaled Sony. It is actually made in China. The colors kept changing randomly. The volume kept raising up and lowering down by itself. Overpriced and misrepresented. We took it back in less than week. We purchased from another retailer. The salesman wasn't credible enough in our eyes.

    The picture quality is terrible. I spent over an hr with their tech support and it did no good. I'm now working with their headquarters support and it's still a lemon. I would've returned it but I needed assistance carrying it and didn't hook it up until after the return period. I'm now watching my old Samsung that's how bad it is

    Quite possibly the worst tv experience I’ve ever had. The Android TV operating system is by far the worst. It is dreadful. That alone was enough to return the tv. On top of that, the tv performed awfully. For the price, the savings are not worth the sub par experience.

    Bought this for my now ex husband and he returned it. Said that the color was way to bright and he wasn't able to get the colors correct either. Said that it didn't look right on the Xbox either. Very disappointed in the overall of the tv especially for the price of the tv.

    NO Power No good

    Unboxed, hung on wall, went to grab remote and power cord. There is no power cord. Looked at all the packing multiple times to make sure not over looking but just does not exist. I do believe BB will be getting a slightly unused TV, cannot be used since there is no power, returned.

    The 55 inch Hisense 4K tv is a perfect size for movie viewing in a regular size living room / bedroom. The package was simple, not excessive and protective. Set up was super simple and quick. I’ve had trouble wit some tv remote sensors not being picked up by the tv or not responding when clicked. This remote the tv registered every click, and movement and took out the frustration of setup. Having dedicated buttons made it easy for quick access to watch my shows. I loved the included stands that mount to the tv. The standsconnwff securely to the tv and gave confidence that the rv would not fall over and look sleek and fit the look of the tv. I did not change any color settings to the tv and normally don’t. Out of the box the tv looks great. The sound is great and fills the room decided not to connect a sound at. It’s nice and loud and I don’t see a need for one unless one is an audiophile. For normal everyday use there’s no need. I currently have a cable box one red for regular channel viewing. I do notice that the image is cutting off around. The bottom corners, that may be a viewing setting on the cable box. I am still messing with it to eee if I can get that fixed. Overall though I am happy with the sound, color, image and response time of this tv. I would suggest it to anyone.
