First impressions: WOOWWWW BEST TV at home, compared to Samsung AU8000, Sony X800H, LG 7000 and Sharp This Tv is a winner in picture quality, brightness, definition, motion handling and even sound. Google assistant is so good. I dont know yet about longevity, but I hope it last a long, long time. Looking for a 65 inches to add it for next football season I think you must consider it seriously

    Value & Picture Quality...Sound Adequate

I've had this a few months now. The AndroidTV app had glitches, but a factory reset was able to solve it, which I found in the settings, I just had to reenter all the services again, such as Netfix, Disney+, Hulu, etc. The picture quality is great, much better than the old LCD I had, so anything was going to be better. The sound it comes with is adequate and you can get by, but you really should get something better with it; wait for a sale if you want to put that extra purchase off. For the price, you're really getting something very similar to the name brands you're familiar with without the steep price. In terms of adjusting the picture, there are q good number of setting options and you'll find plenty of reviews on YouTube about how to do them. As for value, I ended up buying a second set a few days later.

This Hisense H9G blew me away right out of the box! For the price compared to Sony, Samsung and LG can't be beat. This TV in tests hit 1400 nits of brightness! This TV's features alone you won't get with the big boys. It even gets close to an OLED ,the blacks are inky black and the brightness is real bright. Watching in store mode i thought I was watchinging an oled tv...i'll sware to that. I looked at the H8G and was impressed, but if you can go the extra bucks the H9G is the one TV you'll be glad you purchased. 5 out of 5 stars!

I did a lot of homework before deciding to pull the trigger on this TV. Initial impressions of this TV is a solid build quality with very neat packaging. The out of box display isn’t that great, but after messing with the picture settings (with the guidance of Rtings), I was able to get spectacular picture quality. The blacks are super inky and the color reproduction is almost, if not as good, as some of the OLEDs out there. Overall, the H9G is a knockout TV for its price to performance ratio.

Exceptional TV. I originally purchased the TCL 55R635 and that was also a great picture, but mine had an issue where it kept locking up. They were out of stock so I switched to the Hisense H9G. I was a little skeptical at first because I love Roku, but after a couple days, am very comfortable with the Android. Some of the other reviews said it was laggy, but I thought it was very responsive as you can click through apps as fast as you push the buttons. Plus it is highly customizable and unlike Sony has no ads. The picture is very crisp. I put it in store mode at the start accidentally and it showed the videos store on the TV and that blew me away. When I put it back on home use, I watch Guardians of the Galaxy and also an NCAA basketball game and it was the best TV and picture I have owned. Also of interest to some people, both my older Sony and the TCL showed a glare from the adjoining room whenever the sun was setting. This TV must have some type of anti-glare screen as it totally removed that artifact that I have lived with for 5 years. The only two drawbacks I found: 1) To switch from Apps to TV, you need to click input, then the HDMI selection. I thought the “TV” button on the remote would allow me to just jump back and forth but you have to do that through the input screen. You can go from TV/cable back to apps with one click using the “app” button though. Not a big deal, but one extra click. 2) I love that there is a hard switch to turn off the microphone. The problem is if you use the hard switch, 4 annoying lights show up that can’t be turned off. The only way to turn them off is to click the switch back to microphone, and disable the microphone inside the settings menu. Kinda defeats the purpose of the hard switch. These are both minor, but overall one of the best TV I have owned.

Pros: Superb picture quality, excellent sound (no soundbar required), highly customizable, sturdy base. Cons: The Android TV interface is a work in progress. The speech recognition component works very well. However, voice is not fully integrated into the TV's operating system, so many navigations require the remote control to complete. The remote control is not completely intuitive to use or well-designed (as many professional reviewers have pointed out). Overall: Very satisfied

the image quality is very good, the TV is very beautiful too ... but when there are scenes of speeds, the image is distorted, it looks strange, I don't know if it is a defect of the TV or if it is of itself .... I know it’s not cool, it’s very strange! The android is a little slow ... the sound is good ... quite loud .... I liked it in general, just this thing of quick images is very strange ... I played Call of Duty too and found it kind of weird in the hours of game speeds ....I tested it in films like Extraction, Underground 6, among others ..... I will wait for more people to review it and maybe I will return this TV because it may be a defect!

After 3 months of research I selected the H9G from all other 55" sets. I noted a few negative comments regarding the sound of this set, they must have been deaf... this set gives excellent audio. The picture is stunning. This my 2nd Hisense TV, my first was 6 years ago - ok set, still works but not high quality ( it was cheap $$). For the price this set rocks...I believe it is much better the Samsung, Sony, and LG nearest equivalent models.

After first receiving a unit with some bad pixels, I was able to exchange for a new set and it's perfect. The picture is definitely an upgrade from our non-quantum dot Samsung tvs which is what I was looking for. The Android TV interface is almost as fast as my Nvidia Shield which is impressive. Very happy with this purchase.

I would highly recommend this tv to anybody who is simply just watching movies and is on a budget. I have 0 complaints about this TV besides the fact it doesn't have HDMI 2.1. Also, it doesnt do 1440p @120hz. However, it does have low input lag. The TV gets bright to the point where its almost blinding in the dark. I didn't notice any uniformity issues with the tv. Blooming was very minimal. Contrast is really good.

Awesome pictures quality. Colors and HDR are just what you want in a TV. Not sure in the long run since haven’t owned something off brand. Only draw back wish it had HDMI 2.1 for the next gen consoles. Can’t not get 4K @ 120hz w/o that.

Really happy with the picture quality and ease of use through the android tv itself. One minor gripe is that the ARC is spotty (but is fixed with a simple mute unmute) though that could be on the sound bar more than the TV.

For the price this TV rocks. Very clear picture .Color is amazing The picture detail adds depth to a screen. Audio is not bad and really shines when paired with a Blu-ray player that supports Dolby Atmos while playing a movie in that format. Anyone who has been eyeing a Samsung Qled but that tv is priced out of their budget needs to buy this TV....You won't be disappointed

Love the Tv. Looks very good in TVs and shows. Dolby vision is great. UHD content looks good. Some HD shows darker scenes don’t look very good. Looks “fuzzy” in some areas. Game mode on HD games has a grey “washed out” look and not ask crisp but there is very little lag. Good with the bad I guess. 4k game mode games look much better. Not as “crisp” as hdr bright but still looks very good. Overall pleased with the purchase. Good Bang for your buck. Looks much better than the TCL 4 series tv it replaced (only owned for 2 yrs but was only $350. You get what you pay for).

Awesome value here. Really nice image and black levels. Over all great TV from a giant of industry with lots of history of bringing quality products. Only thing I am a little indifferent is the corners are ever so slightly dimmer than the rest of the image. Only noticeable on test footage with solid colors. Most examples I've seen have this and is fairly common for qled tv's

For the price, this TV is hard to beat. It is a good size, friendly to use, and has a great picture. It works quickly enough without much lag or hesitation. It suits our living room perfectly. The only reason this is docked a star is the sound quality. The sound feels a little flat and seems to have sort of an echo. I am not sure exactly how to put my finger one it, but it does feel a little lower quality than it should be sometimes, though not in all instances. I am unsure if this is a setting that I need to fix or if this is just how the TV operates; however, this is my one issue that keeps it from being perfectly rated. Overall, this is a good TV and we got it at a good price and I am pleased.

I bought this because it has a native 120 refresh rate and reviews indicate that it was excellent at handling fast moving action sequences such as sports. I am really happy with my purchase and have nothing negative to say. The picture is noticeably better than the 1080p Vizio it replaced ( which is also a solid TV ).
