Not what I expected at all don't get me wrong the picture is gorgeous but I learned that it's a upscaled picture just from 1080p it's not actually real 4K at ll least my panel is not I guess I got the bad deal my panel is actually three panels so I don't know exactly how it's done but it's not a true 4K TV because when I have my cable box hooked up to it and when I hook my computer up to it and both of them displayed 1920×1080 picture is pretty but you can notice that it's upscaled because there's banding a ton of banding there's red saturation in some ideal black pictures sometimes and also the AI feature on it is very buggy it will optimize your TV for weird sound during weird moments randomly it is a very bright HDR gaming TV I'm squinting trying to game on her because if I turn down backlight it ghosts again. One other thing about this TV is everywhere I look on my Google home on the TV itself is says it's an l a o h u s h a n model and I can't find any information about this anywhere other than it was made in that area of China I guess and they named the device that way if you look on Android TVs page they put out on all the devices that they put their operating system in its laohushan device model and I think I got the wrong end of a stick on this h9g because I was expecting it Android 10 operating system from what I was told and I have a aged Android 9 operating system and the TV just made me frustrated so I really really hope that maybe someone from Hisense will read this and maybe I don't know have a good heart and think about it because I'm not a bad person I'm not writing to Hisense saying I want you know that your TV suck but I'm just letting people know that while there are some good features on this TV if you obviously don't get a good panel you're screwed

I recieved this tv at a discounted price in exchange for my review. I went through alot of hassle with this tv because of issues with best buy and their online reported measurements for the tv as i couldn't fit it in my vehicle. I have finally got it in, and let me tell you, it was all worth it! This picture and sound quality keeps up with the competition! I was a little nervous about syncing my non hisense devices and remote to the tv but it was SO EASY. The manual is very easy to read and was not overly scripted or overwhelming. I adore that there is FOUR hdmi ports so we can actually make convenient use of our non bluetooth devices. I'm also both puzzled yet overjoyed at how light and thin this unit is, considering how high quality it is. We are big harry potter fans in this house and were very pleased with how realistic our favorite movie series played on our new TV. We could practically taste the Butterbeer and chocolate frogs. I did decide to hook up my hisense to my current soundbar, BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO! The tv itself provided incredible sound, at level 12 we were feeling the rumble of the bass, INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend this hisense h9g quantum, you will not be disappointed.

Easy to set up for both gaming and consuming video. Really deep and consistent blacks and rich color. I don’t love Android TV but the interface works fine and I use the Xbox for Amazon/YouTube/Netflix anyway. With 4 HDMI slots you can use multiple inputs without having to switch things in and out. Love it so far!

I am very pleased with this tv. I used a TCL 6 series 2017 for almost two and half years years. It was time to upgrade. I did not know which tv I was going to get. It was either The TCL 6 series 2020 or the Hisense. Both have almost the same price. I chose the hisense h9g over the TCL and so far I am very happy. Highly recommended!!

Pro's Excellent picture quality Superb HDR Brightness around 1800 nits Quantom dot panel makes colors pop Rivals and beats tv's twice the price. Android TV smooth operation Cons Cheap build Gets really warm Latest update makes tv worse so never update software. Overall a must have for gaming and hdr content. No it doesn't have hdmi 2.1 but trust me thats being over marketed most games won't run at 120fps. I bought the LG CX and this tv was way brighter and popped more . Local dimming was better than I thought but not as good as the cx obviously. There is a reason this tv is always sold out. A 2,000 dollar picture for 650 dollars only drop back is the cheap build quality. The stand is durable but overall tv is plastic.

This tv has awesome picture quality! I have two other TVs that were higher than this one and it fits right in. The 4K quality is great! We watched a few movies on Netflix with 4K and the colors were so vibrant and clear. The sound is great and the design is sleek and modern. I would definitely recommend this tv!

fantastic TV at a price well below the 'name brands'. If you like your movies this screen is as good or better than Sony's or Samsung and $400-$1000 less. Really hunt on YouTube for H9G reviews and side by side tests. The audio is just meh, nothing special but it does deliver Dolby Atmos variant Dolby Digital (just a bit compressed version of Atmos) audio from streaming services with it or your blu-rays. I did learn to calibrate the display on YT video and after a week of fiddling it's pretty darn perfect with HDR. I don't game so no useful fedback from me there. oh, the audio can get LOUD but still these are typical TV stereo speakers. It is good for sports too. i watch a lot of MLB and some NFL or NBA. No disturbing motion blur i could not correct in settings. Really my budget is super limited and even on sale it was major purchase and i have zero regrets. Of course i did pop for the 4-yr warranty just incase the cat knocks it over in fit of needing attention. :)

If you're looking for a excellent tv but not willing to spend over $1000, this is the tv for you. Before buying this TV, I did a lot of research and watched many reviews on this Hisense H9G, and all have been raving reviews. Now that I actually own one I have to agree with every positive reviews about this tv. It's picture quality is top notch and the look of the tv (front view) looks better than any LED tv I seen in this category. The bezel-less design makes this TV look exceptionally high-end and the andriod platform is very quick and smooth (especially if you turn on developer mode). Sound is great as I never actually gone higher than 15. Although it doesn't ha e hdmi 2.1, gaming in my xbox one x was still great and very smooth. If I had to nip pick anything, it will just be the remote as it looks bland. However, I do appreciate the Netflix and youtube buttons as those are my most two service I use the most. Overall, you will not regret buying this TV. This is definately one of the best tv under $1000 you can buy with confidence.

H9G is the way to go because of its amazing picture quality that is half the price of other High End TVs and even performs slightly better than some in terms of brightness and HDR performance. Definitely a must buy if you don't want a spend over $1,000 for an OLED TV and are on a budget!

The picture on this TV is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Audio is decent but we use a sound-bar so it's not a big deal. I bought a Sony X900h for my basement a week before this one and then my family room tv went out so I picked this one up. The picture quality is very close to this. My only complaint is the google feature randomly chimes in when nobody has asked it anything or pressed the button on the remote. Wish I could completely deactivate it. The app layout is nice too although it seems I'm somehow already running out of storage space.

This TV replaced an old Samsung 32" TV in my mom's bedroom and it is FANTASTIC!! It was delivered by the Best Buy Geek Squad in perfect condition! I was afraid I would have to send it back to Best Buy if it arrived damaged or defective but my fears were put to rest as soon as I set it up and turned it on! It is an Android TV so it has many apps just like on a cell phone. Setting it up couldn't be easier, the colors just Pop due to the brightness of the picture and the sound is Great as well. You Do Not need a separate sound bar with this set right out of the box! This TV is roughly half the price of an expensive Samsung, LG or Sony TV and works just as well!! I am very happy I bought this and I Highly recommend it to anyone who's currently out in the market for a Great TV but that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get it. The Only Negative to getting this TV is that it is not Always in stock because it is so popular!!!

Pretty simple, bright, and sharp. Motion and dark scene and skin tones need help. Great value for the 55", but I watch a lot of movies and shows with dark scenes and this TV just could not perform they way I like, it struggles. I returned and got the Sony 950h and am much happier but it came at a premium. I was a little worried about longevity due to what I have read with QC issues but did not experience any issues in the time I had it. Hope this helps

Picture and sound quality were great, but Hisense cheaped out on internals. The flash storage corrupts and fails far sooner than it should, requiring the main system board be replaced. But you can't replace it, because they can't keep the things in stock thanks to all the failures. Common user advice is to avoid using the internal apps and do all work through a streaming device, but that's what I was doing and mine barely survived two years.

I researched a lot of TVs and it seemed a lot of what I was looking for was out of my price range, 4K, UHD, Dolby Vision etc. And then scrolling through YouTube for TV reviews I stumbled across the Hisense H9G. Just about every review I saw on this television was outstanding so I decided to give it a try. I do not regret my decision one bit and you won't either. The picture on this TV rivals TVs that are hundreds of dollars more.

I made sure to read as many reviews and as possible and watched reviews on YouTube. I was impressed with what this TV has to offer for the Price. As soon as I got it home I set it up and immediately was blown away with the Visual quality, Sound quality, U.I quality and again for the price! Google works great in my opinion and I’m still able to AirPlay with my IPhone! Now I’m just hoping I can get at least 5yrs out of it haha my last TV was a “VIZIO M-Series 47” Class Razor LED™ Smart TV M470SL” which I bought used in 2012 for $200 and I believe it was $699 new. Still have it and still works just fine! I just wanted something new so I can get the most out of my game system and again this just seemed to offer for more for the price! Let’s hope it can hold up just like Vizio has. If not I know what brand I’m going to be going back to. So far, I love this TV!
