After reading the reviews and the HYPE rating from two of the Expert analysis I was a little if not Very disappointed. I drove over 60 miles to get this TV from another location because it was available in my area at the time. Got home ready to assemble the stand legs and BOOM 'NO SCREWS'. Ding number 1. Next, I figured let me see what the Picture Hype is about. Turned it on, got thru the initial setup and... the picture was NOT the greatest for a QLED TV. I tried tweaking the picture settings close to my SAMSUNG QLED TV. Not even close as I had them side by side. The Hisense picture wasn't sharp or clear at all. I played with the settings for almost a hour. No Luck. The picture was grainy on some stations. The picture motion was not the greatest. The ONLY thing I can say good about the picture is that it was Brighter then the Samsung TV. The TV does have potential but NOT to my liking. I'm BIG on Picture quality.
The positives about the TV. It did have a good interface. You could probably find or download any APP that you need if you are using it to Stream thru the TV. Good features from what I saw. If you are NOT big on Picture quality and just wanting to own a QLED TV, then go for it. You may want to go for the H8G if you can find one for about $150 cheaper. Not worth $700 plus in my eye.
Needless to say I returned it 5 days later.

I have an LG OLED in my living room and love it. My wife wanted a TV for bedroom and I cant afford another OLED. Did some online research and rtings pointed me to this Hisense TV. She was not happy with the brand but I asked her to trust. Now we have the TV installed in our bedroom and no complaints from wifey. This TV offers best value for money, offers a high quality bright picture with decent blacks too, fits in any room. Highly recommend.

Wow! I thought the LED picture from this brand was great, but this is Exceptional! It was a little heavy for one person to setup but with help it was easy. We had to go through update two times that was the only downfall. It wasn’t ready out of the box. After that we started watching a movie that was free through Tubi. It was amazing, it was like you were at the movie theater watching. The picture quality was beyond what I have seen. It is perfect for regular shows, but this will definitely be our movie watching TV. The voice control is great but we just don’t have a need to use it. When the kids hooked up their PlayStation to play MLB the Show 20 it was amazing picture quality. Sound is beyond great! We didn’t even have to have it turn it up too loud and it felt like movie theater loud! Absolutely love this TV.

A Sony Fanboy hops on the Hisense Bandwagon

This tv made me a believer in Hisense. I did alot of research when I was looking to buy a tv for my basement and was shocked at the high marks this TV was receiving. Hisense had never been a brand I ever considered making great TVs. After getting this set home, unpackaging and wall mounting, I was left in awe. The bezel-less design is very sleek and makes the tv look very high end. After some picture calibration, the H9G really takes your breath away. I threw on some 8k YouTube content and could not believe the picture quality. Inky black darks and vibrant color all while having minimal juddering. I have always been a Sony fanboy with 2 XBR TVs already in the house, but I think Hisense is now my new go to.

Excellent contrast and brightness. Perfect HDR performance and color. The sound isn't as bad as I thought it would be, however, I do have a 500 continuous watts 7.1 thx and Dolby system. The size fits perfectly in my bedroom. Too bad the play store's app selection is limited, for instance, Firefox is not available but it is in my Android TV box. I notice the difference between the native 4k@120hz and my TV box's 4k@60hz. That being said, I don't plan on playing any games with this TV because I do all my gaming with my threadripper/3080 PC.
Pros: HDR performance and color, native 4k@120hz, thin bezels, very responsive menu. Sexy!!!
Cons: color needs to be adjusted out of the box, web browser is useless and can't download any decent app from the play store. Won't cuddle with me!!!

I love for over $700 (that’s including tax in Cali) it’s a good tv I just happened to get lucky to get the tv now and I’ll just say it has features that you would see on tvs that are over a thousand dollars. You probably won’t like it first thing out the box but I tuned the picture quality to my liking and I must say I’m impressed if you get the chance pic up the tv the only bad thing I’m hearing is that you have a chance of getting a bad panel but luckily I didn’t. Overall good tv for its price

Good TV, Curbside pickup

The process for ordering and curbside pick up was easy and straightforward. My first Android TV, so still figuring out a few things. I did end up having to try to remember my password for things like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Unlike with Roku, HBO Max works. TV picture is good and the built-in speakers are acceptable. I have a lot of windows in the same room, the TV shows less reflection than the previous Vizio TV. So far I am pleased with the Hisense TV.

I have had this TV for about a week and so far so good. The black level is great and almost as good as my 2016 OLED that I paid much more money for as I do love my OLED this TV is just great for the price that you pay for it and it has a beautiful picture and I put it in my bedroom and I enjoy watching it as much as my OLED. Just hope it will last as this TV is a nice looking TV as well and I love the stand as it is easy to put on a smaller cabinet.

I have owned this for about 12 months now, and the only complaint is the lagged OS of Android TV. The picture quality, whether it is Dolby, HDR, or standard 1080p is outstanding. I have it in a very bright living room and the picture carries well from most angles. The TV has gotten from lots of visitors about the outstanding display while watching sports. I use a sound bar, so I don't have an opinion on the speaker quality. Biggest gripe is the laggy Android TV interface, annoying microphone pop-ups, and the apparent need to restart the device occasionally due to freezing. A+ value in the display department, but get-what-you-pay-for experience in the user experience.

This set was purchased for mothers day 2 years ago, out of the box the colors were vivid and beautiful. BUT, after about 18 months, the color stared to fade, eventually leading to it blacking in and out altogether. It cones with a yr warranty out of the box, so you can imagine how convenient it was for this to happen right outside of that time frame… $900 dollars GONE!! Never again hisense. Not even if you were on sale for $50 bucks. Heed my advice people, DO NOT BUY!!

Been looking for a 55 TV for a new home garage gym. Bought a budget 55 Samsung TV for $400 and it looked horrible. Wanted to exchange it after 2 days... I have a lg Oled in the living room so everything looked bad in comparison. Went to review sites and it was either the TCL 6 or this TV. This TV is Bright! And the colors are vivid. Was so happy with it.. I bought another one the next day for our bedroom(sorry guys... These were the last 2 sets available at Best Buy before they sold out everywhere.. And still sold out.

This is one the best budget TVs you can buy for the price. The blacks are unparalleled to its price bracket. However the only down side to the TV is the motion. Poor motion that only a $1000 monitor can beat. There are other TVs with better motion for the price but you will be giving up quality of your blacks which is important when it comes to gaming.

I'm a cinematographer and colorist and needed a home TV for my family. I was going to go overboard but decided to buy something more affordable.
After removing all of the motion blur compensation and everything else that comes with factory settings, i used my xbox's calibrator to dial in the right tones.
The image is really nice. Great color rendition and the ability to brighten and dim with ambient light.
The menu system is not great but it works.
My only gripe is the remote being so sensitive, which is minor. Several times just trying to get a grip on the thing sets one of the home-keys to AMAZON or something like that.

Excellent TV! Quality with Value! The Dolby Atmos Sound is also great on its own without soundbar. Yes it lacks bass but overall treble is outstanding and surrounding is superb. The google Android system is very good. For someone who is looking to use google home and nest system in their home this is a great TV match . As for Picture quality , it rivals and IMO may even be better than the LG and Samsung Qled models. For the Value, it definitely competes and is worth the Buy.
