Fantastic ROKU 55 in TV

The Geek Squad was just awesome. They were very respectful and professional. I bought the 5 year plan. I have had it for a week. Very happy with Best Buy and my purchase. My first smart TV. I would highly recommend this item.

Bad software

So I called Hisense support and got a "we are working on it" that was 6 mos ago. TV is OK, but I wonder what else will go wrong. There are better choices

Poor Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV two years ago because the salesperson highly recommended the brand for the price. Also at the time of purchase the salesperson said that Hisense provided a 4 year manufacturers warranty. At this recommendation and the fact that I did not need to purchase an extended warranty, we bought the TV. A few months ago there started to appear some faded, darker spots on the picture and it progressively got worse. Yesterday, nearly the whole TV was darkened. Today, when you turn it on you briefly see the logo and then black, you can't see anything. I chatted with customer support at the beginning of this week, sent them a picture. Crickets for 3 days. I called them last night only for them to tell me that the warranty I was told about at the store was not real and that my two year old tv would need to be repaired at our cost. We have a Samsung that is 8 years old, no problems. This one, I would not recommend. Poor customer service and absolutely terrible product.

Possible common issue?

HDMI ports bad

Dead after 2 days

Two days later it stopped working. The red power LED would flash continuously. The startup screen would come and go. I'm arranging for an exchange, but my initial confidence in this TV and BestBuy has vanished.

Tv freezing

But after owning the tv for 7 months, I have been experiencing several issues. First, the tv freezes. I cannot change the channels or adjust the volume or turn it off. I have to unplugged it from the outlet to reset the tv. I’m also having connecting issues with Netflix, YouTube and Amazon prime. I am very displeased with this tv. After searching the internet, I found I not the only one with these issues.
