The 2025 Hisense 55" Class QD6 Series QLED TV is positioned as an affordable option suitable for everyday viewing. It's a simple setup and surprisingly good built-in audio. While it offers decent picture quality and a user-friendly smart platform, potential buyers should be aware of limitations in contrast, black level reproduction, viewing angles, and gaming features. Additionally, the TV appears to require an internet connection for accessing apps, even those that might not inherently need it.
Features
This TV features a 55-inch QLED display with 4K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Amazon's Fire TV OS, granting access to a wide variety of streaming services and applications. 10gb of internal storage for apps and works as an offline TV without limiting features. The design is light and easy to mount, a single person can safely lift it. Setup is quick, and the TV can automatically detect and guide the programming of a soundbar remote. The internal speakers support Atmos.

Cons - Performance
The viewing angle is narrow, leading to color distortion when viewed from the sides. The maximum brightness is limited, potentially causing issues with glare in well-lit rooms. The 4K 60Hz limitation and lack of advanced gaming technologies like VRR may not satisfy dedicated gamers. The upscaling of lower-resolution content is not particularly refined. Television was great for the price but it did not allow for full integration into my home environment. The device seemed to have a specific list of apps that it allowed to be used. That restriction made the device less functional to me.

We purchased this TV and it did not work. Called customer service and it was an "easy" exchange... until they didn't even speak a tiny bit of English, they didn't pick up the old TV I had to call Best Buy twice for them to come get the old TV. Then the replacement TV also did the same lag issue. Try to shut it off? Good 30 seconds. Try to turn up or down the volume? Same long delay. Terrible TV DO NOT RECOMMEND BEST BUY OR HISENSE

Do Not purchase this crap! Sound goes out, tv goes black and now has black spots that they will not cover!! Warranty from Hisense and Best Buy-useless! They lie and say it's not covered-Donot buy from Best Buy!! Membership also a joke!

Numerous audio problems

Returned this TV because the audio wouldn't turn off when the TV was off (especially annoying to have the audio come back on in the middle of the night) and when we changed from the antenna to an app we had the audio from both playing at the same time. Replaced with a 2nd one (same model TV) and still have problems getting the audio to turn off. I wouldn't recommend this TV to anyone unless they figure out the problem and issue a software update to fix it.

NO TRUCKS TO DELIVER TV

I could not get this item because the store had NO ABILTEY TO DELIVER SO I JUST WENT AND GOT MY MONEY BACK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OK IF THEY JUST TOLD ME IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE ! Tv performance issues - Freezing and Lagging

I've had this TV for 45 days, and it's been really frustrating. It freezes frequently and lags when opening apps. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, and I'm not sure how to resolve the issue. Given the performance, I wouldn't recommend this model .

Disappointing Experience – Gift Ruined

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. I purchased a TV as a gift and everything went wrong:
• The delivery had to be rescheduled — the TV was only delivered on the second attempt.
• I specifically requested a gift message to be included — there was none.
• Customer service promised a bonus for the inconvenience, but it’s been over two weeks and I still haven’t received anything.
I’m very disappointed with the lack of care and follow-through. I expected better service from Best Buy, especially when purchasing a gift.
