We installed the TV a few days ago. So far, I’m impressed with the matte finished. We were worried that we wouldnt like the matte finished but we realized its game changing. Our living toom is well lit from the sun, so this tv has almost no glare for the art or watching tv. The google interface is also a plus and easy to navigate.

Awesome value and features. The TV mount requires studs, but doesn't give you much play. Only improvement opportunity is if it had a white border around the paintings.

This TV is amazing. It has very clear picture and sound (which I was skeptical about because of its slimness). It sits flush against the wall with the provided wall mount. The art feature is wonderful and truly appears as genuine artwork mounted on your wall, as there's hardly any noticeable glare. Get this TV, you won't regret it!

    Game-Changing Hi-Matte Display & Canvas Mode

The defining feature of this TV is the Hi-Matte Display, and it is absolutely worth the hype. The advanced anti-glare coating virtually eliminates reflections, allowing you to watch movies or sports comfortably during the brightest parts of the day, where a glossy screen would become an unwatchable mirror. When you're not streaming, the CanvasTV Art Mode truly transforms your room. It comes pre-loaded with over 120 masterpieces (with no subscription fees!!!), and the matte screen makes the digital art look remarkably like a real, framed canvas painting.

Took a while to get this in right, but I love it. It meets the goal of a great picture that can look like great art, hanging on the wall. Included art set is very nice, and even has toggle descriptions so you know what it is. Picture is excellent, art mode is working reasonably well. Included frame is nice. Software is good. 20GB of storage is working well Only major complaint is that it doesn't have WIFI 6. Nor ASTC 3.0, but that is complicated with license fees. Quibbles: * Cable routing through the channel in back makes it hard to get the TV to lie truly flat. Especially true if you want multiple cables. * Adaptive backlight is all over the place, with the settings unclear as to what they apply to. * A little tricky to set up auto on art; the settings are in a few different places * The manual has mistakes * Processor is a little slow, but fair enough for a compact design

Hisense CanvasTV is the best for the price and art

Great art TV. Has a good picture and high refresh rate for normal viewing as well. If you are on the fence about the different art TVs, here is my opinion: the Hisense has the best art mode. It darkens automatically when you put it in art mode and looks the most like a real painting. The library of pictures is decent and unlike the Samsung frame TV you do not have to pay a subscription for it. The TCL NXTFrame was alright but to me its picture was not as good as the Hisense. The TCL was always too bright to look like an actual painting even with the brightness all the way down. Very happy with the Hisense.

First time buyer here: I got it on sale, roughly over $1077.08 (after tax). I absolutely LOVED uploading my photos, while I did take a bit longer than i had anticipated to fully set up, the picture quality, the matte display, perfect. I really think it does capture the true beauty of a "picture". I also appreciate the fact that unlike samsung, you get presets for photos that you don't need to pay a subscription for. Audio, is low key better than my bose 900 soundbar too, which is INSANE. I'd genuinely get another one for my bedroom. For my intention of a living room "frame" it is absolutely perfect.

This is a great TV, the speakers are excellent, extremely happy to know that I won’t need a soundbar to hear the tv. The anti glare screen is perfect. Really happy with the purchase. There is a wide range of art to display on the screen.

Picture and art look amazing. Super impressed with the wall mount that is included. The only negative is the Google TV is super slow which means the components inside are most likely on the low end.

Great tv, good sound and picture quality. A couple things I don’t like are that the viewing angle isn’t really much better than that of a typical tv screen. Also, it has this strange slight tint to the images when in Art Mode. When you click to leave Art Mode, it immediately flickers to the color settings that you’ve chosen… but for some reason those same settings won’t reflect when in AM, so at times it’s hard to get true tones such as whites and creams. On a positive note, the audio is great :)

I bought this TV for my dad’s formal living room, and it’s been a perfect fit. The picture quality is fantastic and the Hi-Matte Display cuts down on glare, especially in Arizona, where he is. My dad’s only minor complaint was the lack of bass in the built-in speakers. That said, after adjusting the audio settings, he was able to improve the sound enough to be satisfied especially considering the slim design doesn’t leave much room for powerful internal speakers. Overall, we knew what to expect from a flush-mount setup, and it absolutely delivers on quality. He can always add external sound if wanted. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a sleek, stylish TV that doesn’t sacrifice visual quality.

The sound is excellent, and the picture is great. Due to the matte finish, watching during the day can be done without glare. The artwork is plentiful. I wish there were some of Picasso's, but I can upload the pictures I want. I've only had the TV for a week but I love it so far.

Samsung or Hisense.. Fantastic Option Here!

I wish there was an option for 4.5 stars! This TV has been everything I needed it to be and more. While remodeling my basement, I wanted a TV with a sleek, picture-frame look to complement the two Samsung Frame TVs I already have upstairs. When I saw that Hisense had released a competitor, I was intrigued to see how it stacked up. Installation The installation was straightforward, but there’s one minor issue worth noting: for a TV designed to sit flush against drywall, the power cord requires an angled outlet. Even with a recessed outlet box, I had to cut a hole and adjust the power setup to make it work. A small hassle, but something to be aware of if you’re going for a truly flat-mounted look. Performance The colors are vibrant and HDR works well, though they’re not as vivid or perfectly tuned as my Samsung Frames. If you’re reading this, you’re probably comparing the two, and yes—Samsung wins in color accuracy. That said, unless you're a perfectionist about colors, the Hisense does a fantastic job. For anyone prioritizing the picture-frame aesthetic over ultra-precise visuals, this TV is a phenomenal choice. Value One huge bonus is that there’s no $5/month subscription fee for artwork like with the Samsung Frames. That alone makes this TV an excellent value for anyone who loves the picture-frame style without the ongoing cost. Final Thoughts If you're looking for a stylish TV that blends into your décor and offers solid performance at a fraction of the cost of its competitors, this is an outstanding option. Just go into it with the right expectations, and you’ll love it!

We bought a Hisense 55" Canvas tv to fit our new bookshelf built ins. Wen absolutely love the ability to select a piece of art vs just seeing tv shows play when it's not in use. The picture is just awesome and so clear. The help we received when we purchased was spot on fabulous!

This hisense TV navigates with ease through menus, including through Google TV. The painting canvas feature is nice to look at. The sound is okay. Not a lot of bass. If you are mounting the TV, just take note of your viewing height as the flush mount does not tilt. I've recommended this TV to multiple people.
