Proper calibration may not be possible

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Before getting into this review I have to let it be known… I have a 42” hisense led that I purchased many years ago and still use out of my catalog of many televisions. I am very happy with it and never had any issues or complaints over performance or picture quality Which is why I considered trying this television. I needed to replace a Westinghouse Roku led because the screen went out after 2 years. I currently feel oled is the best available and I own 2 LG oled tvs. However for the room this was going to… I felt an oled wasn’t necessary, so I decided to try this mini led since it is theorized to be in between a qled and an oled Unfortunately I found this to not be the case. No matter how I calibrated the television, I couldn’t seem to get a normal appearance of the image. It felt as if whatever algorithm or ai they’re using for producing the image, always made it off. It’s hard to explain if you haven’t seen it but the color and film grade never appeared accurate So I unfortunately had to return this television. I exchanged it for a roku series plus qled and am much happier with it… and found it produces close to oled color accuracy and only slightly falls short of black levels I still don’t have any gripes with hisense and still feel they are a good product. But I found this product to be unsatisfactory. Also the store display’s demo imaging seemed accurate… so somehow the demo would be great, but I didn’t find that to be the case when using it myself
