great TV for gaming, remote doesn't work perfectly

I upgraded from a 12-year-old Panasonic TV 1080p to this for my gaming setup and immediately, I noticed the difference. The picture quality is not only clear, but also smooth, and consistent with my gaming on my Xbox Series X (there's virtually no lag in picture quality). One thing though I do not like about this TV is the remote. Sometimes I have to long press the power button to turn it on and go right in front of it to power on the TV, and sometimes it's not super responsive. That said, I've set up my Xbox to sync its power status with that of the TV (powering on the Xbox will turn on the TV too) and that's worked well and helped mitigate that issue. The google-integrated software is good too.

eARC input is actually on HDMi 1, not HDMI 3

Sufficiently bright in a bright room, though lacking the wow factor of top tier models, not that it's fair to compare to 2-3x more expensive options, 144hz variable refresh rate at 4k on inputs 3 and 4, HDMi 2.0 on 1 and 2. AMD freesync premium pro works great with xbox series x. Legit 4k 120hz, with all the options in the xbox settings general TV details confirmed as supported. Use HDMI 3 for the xbox and HDMI 1 as the eARC to the receiver. The item photos show eARC on HDMI 3, but that's not what you get. Only on HDMI 1 which is only HDMI 2.0, max 60hz. Build quality similar to entry level Kia. It's not the worst looking TV in any way, but it functions pretty good on most metrics.

Great TV for racing rig. The image quality and refresh rate make this perfect for a racing rig. Now I just need two more. The high refresh rate, vibrant color, and image quality are amazing for a TV at this price point.

Best budget TV for PS5 gaming! The 144Hz refresh rate and low input lag make games feel super smooth and responsive. Picture quality is sharp with great colors thanks to the Mini-LED and QLED combo. Google TV is fast and has all the apps I need. For under $600, this is one of the best deals out there for next-gen gaming.

In the beginning was very nervous about getting a tv that wasn’t Samsung or LG due to past experiences. However, I decided to give Hisense a chance since their prices seemed to always run better than most. After comparing the specs between this and the others I’m extremely happy I went with the Hisense. This tv in particular has been excellent! I’m a big gamer so the HDR10+ really improved the graphics more than I had expected. Watching 4k movies or sports live has also been an improved experience for me as well. The sound on the tv is excellent with it having a sub built into it already. Safe to say I don’t miss my Samsung tv at all. This is definitely a level above what I was looking at and for a better price. Highly recommend it!

I purchased the 55 inch and I absolutely could not be happier with it! Well, my son, anyway. I bought this for him as his new gaming TV and he tells me all the time how good it looks, responsive, bright, colorful, and easy to use it is. Curious, i put on some Dolby Vision content and i really must say its about 85% as good as the U8N I have in the living room! Id say this is 100% the best value television you can get, hands down!

The Hisense 55” U7 is outstanding! Stunning picture quality, vibrant colors, smooth motion, and fantastic brightness. Gaming and streaming both look amazing. Incredible value for the price — truly punches above its weight. Highly recommend for anyone wanting premium performance without breaking the bank!

After diving deep into my research on TVs, I stumbled upon some glowing reviews of the Hisense 55”. Initially, I was eyeing a 50” model for around $200-300, but I quickly realized that the quality of those entry-level sets was pretty mediocre. When I came across all the buzz surrounding the Hisense, it was clear that I had to give it a shot. Despite being a long-time Samsung fan, taking a gamble on Hisense felt like a big leap. But now, after a few weeks of binge-watching my favorite shows and fine-tuning the settings, I couldn't be happier with my decision. This TV has completely won me over! On top of that, I hooked it up to a Vizio sound bar and subwoofer, and let me tell you—the sound quality is absolutely outstanding. Plus, I’m loving the Google TV interface; it's so user-friendly and intuitive. If you’re in the market for a new TV, I wholeheartedly recommend this model. You won’t regret it!

Colors are natural and popping. Blacks are excellent with hundreds of active zones optional in programming. Love the blue light filter option to protect eyes and enabling it allows even more accurate colors. The default settings are almost optimal. All i had to do for personal preference was increase red level a couple clicks and move focus up close to full. The built in 20 Watt sub optionally raised to full plus 10 Watts each Left and Right channels in stereo sounds full set to music settings. Can optionally be hooked by SPDIF optical to a surround sound amp if you absolutely have to shake buildings. A great picture, good motion and game ability though having a narrower prime viewing angle than extremely high cost sets make this a great bedroom/play set. Best picture ever short of OLEDs with those at 3X the price. These mini QLEDs should last longer anyway with no screen burn in. This Hisense makes sense for the money with accurate upscaling my DVDs look like BluRays and BluRays are close to perfect. P.S. Set the TV to factory reset in the System Options before preliminary programming. This setting is very close to optimum if you're not one inclined to fine tune.

Definitely worth the price (got it for $500). The picture is sharp and the refresh rate shines, especially with computer animation. The Google TV interface is miles better than my last set (Fire TV). The only drawback so far is viewing in a bright room; there is a fair amount of glare that I'm still working through the settings on.

Amazing TV. I get 4K @120fps from my Xbox series S. I can already tell this is as good as the ratings have said. It is a Google TV as well so it has all of the functions & apple air play support. Rtings.com always has the best reviews and this TV comes in at the "top tv for __" in multiple categories. I love this TV!

Very vibrant colors pop unlike my previous led smart tv (2014) went with Hisense being a Samsung guy due to having a monitor for gaming. Great price, when gaming 120hz picture is clear. Menu’s easy quick and controller is more robust than other expensive models. Let’s see the longevity of the Hisense

My wife and I decided it was time for a living room TV upgrade, and what a transformation! After researching, we stumbled upon the U7 at an unbeatable price – and it's significantly larger than our old one. The moment we turned it on, we were blown away by the clarity and vibrancy of the colors. Plus, the audio quality is simply phenomenal. We tested it out by watching Coachella Live on YouTube, and it felt like we were right there in the crowd. The U7 truly exceeded our expectations.

I recently bought this TV, and it exceeded all my expectations. The picture is bright, vibrant, and the 4K resolution is simply stunning. The sound quality is great, so I didn’t even need to buy a soundbar. The interface is user-friendly and runs smoothly without any lag. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality TV at a reasonable price!
