However the google TV interface lag was the main reason of returning. I bought an Apple TV device just to see if it was my internet. Downloaded the same apps and everything worked fine. Went back to the Hisense TV and it was still lagging. Maybe just my device, but I had to return it.

The best bang for your buck is this tv and I absolutely love it

It has problems with Black/Gray transition areas. (sometimes). You will read this in other reviews also. I wish that there was a software upgrade to fix it.

I like to prevent my kids to use YouTube so that is a great feature that my Samsungs have but not the Hisense

The Pricepoint for size and features was the primary reason for choosing this TV along with decent reviews. Now going through Hisense warranty support which is best described as mediocre. Expected for the pricepoint of the tv, I guess. Their support is friendly and thorough, just on the slow side.

You're limited on actual features of the TV. I also tried disabling all networked programs and had to perform 2 factory resets. It tries to turn off the TV automatically. Sure the image looks better from my 2010 Samsung. I wish they had the same TV with NO smart functions. They're disappointing.

Truly a hunk of garbage. Not obviously damaged. Just not functional. And to find out what is wrong with it will cost you additional money, - $124. in this case. Customer Service are polite, but are not empowered to help in any meaningful way outside of pointing to diagnostic services available at your additional cost. This is a reminder to never buy anything worth over $20 at Best Buy. This TV is a worthless doorstop to me because the return period for Best Buy is 2 weeks. I get that that period is a business decision, but it means that you have lost me as a customer for anything but the most inexpensive items. The product? I will likewise never again buy anything connected to Google Inc. -Unrelenting & automatically enabled tracking of all data. (Their "permissions" opt-outs are a joke) The Google interface is basically unusable. Will not recognize available channels. This TV is literally garbage. Do not buy. Do not buy Google TVs. Do not buy anything priced over $20 at Best Buy. What a farce.
