I bought this TV on sale and have been very pleased with it. It was easy to set up and it has a surprisingly good picture for its price point. I like the operating system and have found my favorite apps easy to locate and move.

Very solid quality TV, with HDMI 2.1 support for ps5/xbox. Picture for streaming is very clear. Also likely a couple hundred dollars cheaper than Samsung, LG, etc.

Great picture quality for the price. Poor coloration from side viewing angles. Is an absolute monster of a tv when using my Xbox Series X. Plays the games in 4k@120hz no troubles and has incredibly low input lag.

Best TV for this Price. Unbeatable quality at this price point. Looks even better after some calibrating. The sound quality, bass and volume all surprised me with how good and powerful it was.

TV seems to be quite a buy for its price range, Great picture and sound and was fairly easy to set up. Hoping that Hisense has improved its reliability so that we can enjoy this new purchase for a long time.

I am happy with my Hisense 55U7 TV. One small complaint is that the off-axis viewing washes out. As long as you are in front of the screen, the picture is beautiful, but viewing from the side is a problem.

Awesome tv for gaming. Picture is very good and it does 120 fps for games that support it. If you want to use all the features your Xbox series x or ps5 support then this checks all the boxes

I own 2 LG OLEDs & was looking for a tv for my home office with a good picture without paying OLED price. Did heavy research and saw the U7 in the store. I liked that it was a little better than the U6 and didn’t want to spend the extra for the U8 so I felt like this was a good sweet spot. Picture is great. Built in subwoofer is outstanding to where a soundbar isn’t necessary. I’ve seen blogs about Hisense’s quality control issues and gray screen, but fortunately my unit hasn’t had any issues. I highly recommend this tv, confident you won’t be disappointed!

When my old Sony TV died in January I needed a new living room set. I had bought a Hisense U8G about 2 years ago for the bedroom. As I’m now retired my budget is limited, so I decided to look at the U7K. It has surpassed my expectations. The whole family loves it! It’s better than the old Sony since that one didn’t have DolbyVision! This one does, and for half the price. The sound quality is also great as this Hisense has a built in subwoofer!

Gorgeous color. I have another Hisense that I really liked. Other one I have is a Roku this is a google one. Not really happy about that but I have cable so it doesn't really matter. I think this one is very good for gaming .

This tv is amazing. It has a game mode with freesync built in. I was able to run full ray tracing and dlls at 120 hz. I run a 4070ti Super.

The Good, the bad and the Ugly.

Good and bad: Good nice screen res. however to get it perfect you have to mess with the settings. Also depending on how the image/video was recorded you may need to make on the fly adjustments. Bad: you see TV's that are paper thin and super light well not this one! But overall a good TV just a little pricey for what you get. The reason for the 4 Stars: the weight and all the adjusting which surprised me. The Ugly part is some shows are so dark and it really takes time to zero in on the adjustment so much so that the show is over and you haven't nailed the adjustment. The picture quality is very good

TV quality is pretty good, only really headache I have is the OS. GoogleTV is VERY laggy for me, I run 2 GB Fiber to it and no matter what navigating the Apps within it is terrible half the time. Even when plugged directly to my network switch. I normally try and use my PS5 or something instead now. Picture quality works well with that, did notice with the apps sometime pictures would lag as well. For instance watching F1TV, every time I watch a race, whether it’s a VOD or Live the playback lags tremendously that it is almost not worth it. I would get buffers every 2 or 3 minutes with it.

This is my second of the Hisense upper level televisions, with my last one being the same size U6, and just like that one, this one doesn't disappoint. I used to be a huge fan of a competitive brand, but this one has an amazing picture and more features for a better price. My other U6 one is about 2 years old, and hasn't had any issues at all.
