I’m very happy with this TV so far. Image is crisp and bright, easily configurable and the sound is superb. Gaming functionality is much welcome. Performance is snappy. But on occasion the Android TV system will freeze and restart. It’s not a glaring enough issue that I have to lower my score, but it’s still there and it’s an annoyance. But overall, you would be well served by this TV if you’re a gamer and/or care about movie image quality!

Great picture right out of the box. So much brighter and more accurate than my old tv. Sound is good at lower volumes, but gets better as you turn it up. I don't need a soundbar. Remote lights up, and is simple and easy to read. I like the Google system, too. Very happy with this purchase.

Needed upgrade the screen for my computer and the Hisense TV did not disappoint. Great brightness and colors. Best buy for an upgrade for a computer monitor.

This TV is a tremendous bang for your buck. Great brightness, no chance of burn-in & the least glare I've seen on a TV in all my years. Honestly, so far all I didn't like was unboxing it. It's kind of a pain their way with the 55 inch model at least. Hear me out, other TV's you can easily slide the box up off the TV, so the box is gone and the TV is left standing there. Hisense's 55 inch U7 model they want you to pull the TV up out of the box with 2 people. It's awkward and heavy this way. Especially if you're older or have any hand/arm/shoulder issues whatsoever. I opted to just cut the box on the bottom as well and do it the proper way sliding the box up and off. Bummer to lose your box, but easier on the body. Honestly 9.5/10, have not ran into any other issues so far.

What I liked: The lift to illuminate on the remote is a very nice feature, as odd as it is I would like the ability to disable the illumation feature. The speakers are very good in my wide open living room, I do enjoy that Hisense has a flush sound profile if you were to mount the TV on a wall. Even in a brightly lit room the TV does well in displaying. What I disliked: I wish that Picture in Picture worked with two HDMI inputs

Very clear picture, very bright. Playing video games on this tv is great as well. Doesn’t have the best viewing angles but that’s fine.

My wife is the primary user, and she is quite happy. The picture is very clear, and it seems to upscale older TV shows which is most of what she watches. Well, that and old movies. The clarity on "TV" shows (streaming over services like Peacock and Paramount) is quite high. Note that we don't use the built in apps, we use an external Roku, because we prefer the Roku OS to the built-in Google OS. The sound is very good, we're able to ditch the old soundbar, which is nice aesthetically and saves an outlet and a port. I was surprised about that.

I am impressed, and that's not easy. This TV, is bright, sharp, and is a real winner as far as I am concerned. I have a Samsung 65" and it's a second class loser compared to this tv.

Incredible TV! I was skeptical of how good it could be, but I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this TV is! I sometimes feel like I'm watching movie theater like experience! Contrast is awesome. Colors beyond compare. You might want to get it out of default settings as out of the box it's too bright (yes, too bright!) and colors are washed out. But get on YouTube and find out how to arrange settings without calibration. I don't have a sunny room I watch this in, but if I did, it would be perfect in that situation. Best Buy was awesome with their in person customer service when I picked it up.

After four weeks or so I can only say that this has been a great purchase. It replaced a samsung plasma tv that I had for over 10 years and was breaking down. The image quality of this unit is fantastic and the size (55 in) seems perfect. not too big and not too small. I was not familiar with the google tv software but I am learning to use it. The remote control is a little awkward to me but nothing I can’t handle. I may install a Roku device. I am more familiar with those options. All in all this TV set is great.

Excellent picture and brightness. Sound is solid for a TV only but I've got mine connected to a sound bar and subwoofer. I really like to Google OS.

This TV is amazing!!!. The picture quality and not to mention the sound quality is excellent and exceeds my expectations out of a TV. I was going between a similarly priced TCL and this model, I spoke to a sales associate at the store and was told that Hisense had better picture processing and was ideal for watching movies. The sound is also amazing for being TV speakers. You can actually hear all the dialogue without turning it really high, but at the same time you can hear all the action (especially with the built-in subwoofer) without having to turn it down. The remote is very easy to use without too many buttons and not to mention it is backlit for when the room is dark. I highly recommend this TV, especially if you really want a excellent picture and amazing sound.

Overall I’m very happy with this TV. The picture quality is sharp, colors look great, and the sound is decent for built-in speakers. Setup was simple and it works well for streaming and gaming. The only downside is that the Google TV system can feel a little laggy sometimes when navigating menus, but it’s not a big issue. For the price, it’s still an excellent value.

The Hisense U7 Series Mini LED TV is a great television. The colors are very sharp and the sound is awesome. TV is placed on the wall in the living room. It is a HUGE upgrade from my several years old 50 inch tv that was there before. Watching a movie on this tv is an experience as the TV's speakers provide a great sound. Set up was very easy as it fit in the same wall mount bracket as the replaced TV. TV was purchased during the Best Buy great TV sale recently.
