This TV is fantastic and exceeded my expectations, with vibrant colors, great brightness, and plenty of features. Some say it’s too bright, but you can adjust it manually or use the automatic brightness setting, which works perfectly. Gaming is a blast thanks to the 165Hz refresh rate, and other advance gaming features. It also has NextGen TV, meaning if you have an antenna and ATSC 3.0 is available in your area, you’ll get 4K, HDR, and more. Sadly, I’m returning it because it’s too big for my main purpose—office work. It’s a pity there’s no 50" version, which would be ideal. Still, if you can snag it for $500 on sale, it’s hard to find a better TV at that price.

I am very happy with my purchase. This is the largest TV I've ever owned. Was not looking for something this large, but I am glad I purchased it. The picture is clear, sound is amazing and I would recommend this TV.

I bought this TV a week ago. My main TV is a Sony Bravia MiniLed that I consider the best tv I have ever owned. This TV is a close second. This Hisense gets very bright, up scales poor quality SD content very well, and has excellent sound. I am particularly impressed with the Google Smart TV interface. I use Roku but have decided to use Google TV on this Hisense as it is very responsive. The backlit remote is excellent. This 55 inch Hisense TV is an overall excellent TV.

I wasn't really familiar with the Hisense brand, but I took a chance on this TV because it got good reviews and seemed like a good value for the price. I'm so glad I took that chance. The picture quality is excellent and the price was so much more reasonable than other brands for the same size and quality TV. I've become a loyal Hisense fan!

Very impressed with the picture and the sound reception! Had been told by many people who own a Hisense TV how pleased they were with the TV and I have to agree. Easy to work the remote and it's very adaptable to switch to streaming.

For a 55 in tv at this price point for a bedroom is actually pretty good. It uses mini led, with some tweaks with the settings you can get some nice deep blacks and this tv can get pretty bright. Movies do look pretty good, especially if you use physical media which is superior but streaming also still looks pretty good as well. Definitely recommend for the price and size of this tv.

Have this TV in workout room and works fantastic. The picture quality is clear and vivid. Lots of apps available and great value. Apparently, TVs are only good for so many years and then you can no longer update them. Why spend more money for a TV to last 5 years. Hisense has a value product that fits this need.

This TV is incredible! The image quality is so clear, and the Google TV operating system is very user-friendly. Plus, since it runs on Google's operating system, I can easily download the apps I need directly onto the TV, eliminating the requirement for a Fire Stick or a smart USB stick.

What I liked: The lift to illuminate on the remote is a very nice feature, as odd as it is I would like the ability to disable the illumation feature. The speakers are very good in my wide open living room, I do enjoy that Hisense has a flush sound profile if you were to mount the TV on a wall. Even in a brightly lit room the TV does well in displaying. What I disliked: I wish that Picture in Picture worked with two HDMI inputs

Purchased the 55in. Awesome TV for my small apartment living room. Really good sound quality, no soundbar required unless you have a bigger space to put it in. Picture Quality is amazing for a TV at this price point. Enjoy watching big special effect movies and tv shows on it and playing games on my PS5. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I had a 75" Hisense TV from a few years ago and have been quite impressed with it. So when I recently moved and was needing another TV, I knew I was going to go with Hisense again. The picture quality is excellent and the Google TV interface is the best.

Literally the best television I've owned to date! Awesome specifications great for gaming. I game on the PS5 and with 165hz panel gaming in 120hz just feels right. But my favorite feature of the Hisense 55U7 Mini LED is the built-in sub woofer! Never have I heard a television speakers crisp with thump.

I’m very happy with this Hisense TV. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and the colors look great whether I’m watching movies, sports, or streaming shows. Setup was quick and easy, and the smart features work smoothly with all the major apps. For the price, this TV delivers excellent value and performance. I would definitely recommend it.

TV was easy to setup, has good picture quality and sound quality is good. For the price of the TV, it exceeds what I was expecting for it. Worth the purchase for anyone looking for a more budget friendly TV with good quality.

Without a doubt, the Hisense U7 - 55” is high-tech, and has one of the best picture quality settings I've ever seen, better than the Samsung Q8F, LG Qned, and believe it or not, better than the LG B5 OLED. It's unbelievable that after certain adjustments to brightness, color, sharpness, filters, etc., I managed to get an incredible picture. Now time will tell if this TV is durable or not. But I'm satisfied with this TV.

Good overall. We like the picture quality and the set up was easy. Great for a smaller living room.

Very satisfied with my purchase, especially for the price. Minimal glare during the day, and picture and brightness are both excellent for the price. Pairs wonderfully with our DirecTV service using a Gemini receiver. Best sound from a Smart Tv that we have purchased. No need to add the separate soundbar that we already had from our previous set. Ideal secondary TV in our home.
