This TV is not very good. It gets very bright so HDR has some nice pop to the picture and covers all the features for HDR and HDMI spec support but that's about all it has going for it. The blacks look a little washed out. The local dimming has a good amount of noticeable blooming. And it is very grainy. Next to my LG C9 OLED it looked very noisy and grainy. It did not upscale the Hulu live tv well. Once they can address those issues it will be a contender but for now TCL has a step up on them which does those things a lot better. I know because I returned it and got a TCL 6 series R646.

I will not buy another Hisense TV. I've had this one just over a year and now every day I have to reset it because the voice no longer syncs with the mouths of the people speaking it lasts for a few hours and then I have to reset it It's like watching an old Japanese movie. Not a good TV whatsoever, they should at least know that this is happening and figure out a workaround or an update or something for this.

This tv does well for the price its hard to beat look at the many reviews it has on youtube. I can confirm its a good tv many things to like very few dislikes. Especially when this tv is on sale for 650, can't go wrong

Hisense was ok but the sound would just stop working and I always had to reset the tv just for it to go off again in an hour also the screen looked terrible dirty screen effect thank god for the warranty from best buy getting help from hisense was a nightmare do yourself a favor and get a sony even when i did all my research on lg and samsung you'll notice that sony has far better reviews

If you sit directly in front of the TV, it looks AWESOME, STUNNING VISUALS, lots of connectivity, wireless and wired internet. BUT, the side viewing angles are absolutely horrible. I have until mid January to return it, and i think that's what I may do.

Awesome TV. Ordered for our bedroom and my wife constantly comments how much “snappier” the interface is on the Hisense vs the Samsung in our living room. She wants to replace the Samsung with another Hisense.

I bought this TV for my ps5 because it had 4k 120hz support. But it has been a struggle to get it working at 120hz. It's a great tv with a strong cpu non the less

Absolutely loving this television so far. It’s hard to find a good deal on 4K / 120 hz TV’s, but this hit a great price point. I use it for console games and shows/movies without any complaints whatsoever.

About The Hisense 55U7G is a budget priced ULED 4K TV with tons of features. It’s specifically design for gamers in mind with its two 4K @ 120 Hz HDMI ports. It’s also loaded with smart technology, high end picture and sound formats, and google assistant. Setup The setup was pretty easy. There are two v-shaped feet that screw into the bottom of the TV for a stand mount. It is also prepped for a wall mount as you would expect. The setup was typical for today’s smart tvs. Once plugged in you run through the first-time setup and get things started. Connect to the internet with your choice of a wired or wireless connection. I recommend going ahead and updating the tv’s firmware before continuing with the smart apps. There are several apps pre-installed such as Disney+, Netflix, YouTube TV, etc. You can also download other apps like Paramount Plus as you need. Picture Quality Our main television is a fairly high-end model, and also much more expensive than the Hisense, so I am used to a high-quality picture. For its class the Hisense TV has a pretty good picture, but it did take some adjustment to get it there. The standard picture mode was not impressive, and it looked much better after changing it to Vivid or Sports mode. Filmmaker mode was terrible. I noticed that the blacks were not very deep and was able to improve that by upping the contrast. I did not notice any lag. Having the two HDMI ports with 120 Hz refresh rate certainly helps, especially when it comes to gaming. After making some of the adjustments the picture looked really good, especially at the price point. Sound Quality The audio from this TV is loud without having to turn the volume up very high. The sound quality is on the bright side. If you want more bass, you might be interested in adding a soundbar with a sub. There are some sound features like late night mode, sports, theater, etc. The late-night mode seemed to be backwards because it was louder than the other sound modes. I expected it to reduce the lower frequencies. There are several advanced sound formats that this TV supports such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, dts HD, and IMAX dts. Recommendation Overall, the Hisense 55U7G seems to be a really good deal at its price point. It has a ton of features with a really good picture. I would recommend this TV for someone who is looking to stay under $1000, but wants all of the newest technology available. With that in mind I am giving this product 4 stars.

Took so e finagling and watching setup videos but when you find the optimal settings for games it tv, it's unlike anything I've been experiencing previously. Enjoying this TV very much!

Colors on this Hisense are not what's claimed. We fiddled with picture settings, watched some videos on which settings to apply, but we could never get the picture to look remotely good. Experienced lag, jutter and fine details seemed smeared no matter how we adjusted the settings. Many pro reviews mention the high contrast, but we just didn't see this. Also - Couldn't get passed the horrible viewing angles of this panel. We don't have a wide living room viewing area at all, but a couple feet either side of central viewing were awful. In the end, we had to return it. A higher end Samsung or OLED is going to be strongly considered. They're just more expensive. But, it is what it is. You get what you pay for.

Great quality and features for the price. Daughter usually coops up in her room and watches stuff on her iPad. LOL, she loves the TV quality, so at least we see her now!

Awesome TV for the money. It's bright and looks great, Hisense did a good job of a great screen at a lower cost. And I really like the Android TV functionality over Fire TV.

Navigation is a little frustrating at first. Angle. Ire sucks. Volumes/speakers are very good.

It's a great tv for the xbox series x and ps5 but sometimes there's a weird glitch where the sound doesn't work after switching imputs it only happens in enhanced mode

Compatibility, I worry that ah been on for 12 hours perhaps and its sound has been distorted, Solution when turning it off and on next to my pc hdmi 120hz
