My Hisense tv is awesome ! Love everything about it

Great picture. Has everything I was looking for. Easy setup.

This is my second Hisense TV but my first QLED TV, and my first TV to support Dolby Vision. I've been using this for about two weeks now, and am thoroughly impressed by what Hisense has done here. There are some draw-backs but they are minimal. First with the good. This TV gets BRIGHT, which is great for HDR content. Dolby Vision content streamed through Amazon & Apple TV+ looks fantastic. The color accuracy out of the box is also quiet something as well. The remote control lights ups when it senses motion, making it easy to use in the dark. My last Hisense TV had about 90 local dimming zones, this one has I believe 1200 (hard to find a solid number, even from Hisense), this makes even non-hdr content look amazing. This Hisense model has also improved low quality content processing, judder, and blur reduction. My previous unit was a mid tier model from two years ago, and while it did OK, it couldn't handle fast panning all that great. It also didn't do any favors to older content of lower resolution. So far the u8n handles everything great. Older content looks smooth, possibly due to the super resolution sharpening which thus far has not been distracting at all but does make content look great. Judder reduction even maxed out, doesn't have too much of a soap opera affect, lowering it to around 6-7 smooths out content while not being distracting. Blur reduction around 5-6 also doesn't artifact very much during fast moving shots. Both of these are an improvement over the u7g I previously used. HDR gaming looks wonderful, I've been playing on a PS5 using gaming mode and the 144hz refresh rate plus low input lag make gaming enjoyable. I'm also impressed with how much better audio is, maybe that's due to supporting dolby atmos where my last TV didn't? Hard to say, but the dynamic range has improved so I can't complain there. I've adjusted nothing with my soundbar setup but low frequencies are more pronounced and so far dialog hasn't been washed out or overloaded. The only downside, and reason for the one star off, is that the colors wash out very quickly off angle. It's great if you can watch it head on, which I typically do, however even two-three feet off center and the colors wash out. The narrow viewing angle is a bit of a bummer. I love this TV and I think it's a great alternative to an OLED if those are out of your budget. Even when on sale the cheapest OLED is still more expensive than this model. The color accuracy is up there with some of the best, and while it can't do perfect blacks like an OLED, the 1200 or so dimming zones really carry their weight.

Image looks good but software works horrible, sometimes your apps just doesn’t load

55” TV is OK. Looks nice but for sports is pixilated and annoying. Set up was easy, screen is nice, sounds great, and even calibrated to the room but wouldn’t buy again.

Best Budget gaming tv I could ask for! :) the subway fees were but unexpected and made em realize there was no need for a sound bar

Great tv. I don't game but as far as tv, streaming and movies go this tv is equal to its more expensive counterparts.

THE SMART TV WE PURCHASED WAS AND HAD BEEN A TOTAL HASSLE TO NAVIGATE (SO MUCH FOR SMART)! WE ARE STILL REMEMBERING BUYING A TV, BRINGING IT HOME, PLUG IT IN AND GOOD TO GO WITHOUT DOZENS OF APPS THAT CAN'T BE ELIMINATED ACCORDING TO THE GUYS THAT SET OURS UP; NO THANKS TO HI-TECH STUFF FOR THOSE OF US GROWING UP WITH 4 CHANNELS AND NO REMOTE!!!

Our Tv has been nothing but great for us. This tv will last for years. Not only is it fast, durable, & high def it contains all our favorite apps. 100% recommend

Great sound, particularly with an added Hisense sound bar. BUT... the AI that they talk about so much is still not ready. Maybe in a year or more, but picture quality upgrading to 4K has a lot to be desired. The high end LG, Samsung and Sony TVs are far superior, but at a much higher price. You get what you pay for. But as for the Hisense U8, you will need to wait for better AI chips and programming.

I don't understand the TV. I paid $200 that Best Buy charged me for a delivery and setup. But there was no internet installed in my new home at time of tv delivery. So I didn't get any pointers on how to operate the tv.

Hisense u8n 55 inch is a bad tv. If you want this tv get the 65 inch it has a better processor than the 55 inch. The sound was the only good thing about this tv. The brightness would flicker with vrr on. The tv had a hard time with older content. Would not recommend.

After comparing many models, chose this one. Great overall quality, happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Great for an LED, sometimes it wants to turn motion smoothing on on its own but that’s the only downside.

The tv has an issue with frame change. The TV flickers between actual picture and black frame. It is very annoying. It has great sound and picture quality is very good.
