Great bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.unless you are deadset on OLED, this is probably the best bang for your buck. has some ads, but its android tv so you can easily sideload apps too. 2024 is tad slower than 2025, but pic quality is exact same. speaker do sucks though, either use a cheap soundbar or bluetooth speaker. tv built in speaker usually sucks anyways.

Pretty good, but not for me…
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually ended up returning this TV and choosing the 2023 Hisense U8K model instead. I paid $800 on sale during the memorial day sale, but I had recently tested out the U8K. This is a good TV as well, but to me the U8K seemed more vibrant with a more realistic looking picture and better color. The contrast is more consistent as well, the processing is more accurate imo. The U8K was on sale at 700$ for 100$ less as well so definitely made me happy that I liked it better. Opinion regarding picture quality is subjective and can definitely vary from person to person. I love Hisense TVs. They provide a lot of value for the money along with incredible performance. Not a bad TV by any means, I just personally preferred the 2023 model. You may love it!

Don’t hesitate to purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic sound and even better picture for a geeat price. Colors are amazing and the gaming features for the TV compete against the top of the line TVs but for a much more affordable price.

Great TV for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV. Great value for the price. Had issues with it randomly turning on at night, but after some research and a few setting changes I was able to fix that problem. Also every once in a while it disconnects from my soundbar, and I need to power cycle both the TV and the soundbar to get it to connect again. The guide for the antenna TV is a bit odd, as it only seems to update after a turn to each channel. Overall, I consider these minor issues as it is has a tremendous picture.

Great pitcure, but a privacy problem in waiting.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture only if you are within about 30 degrees of center, then the colors get washed out. For the price of the TV, I would expect to have some manual that tells me how to configure it. There are settings for audio and video that are not allowed, but the only way to find that is by trial and error OR download the manual on a PDF and scroll endlessly through it, then do trial and error. So buckle up and make some time if you get this product. Once you get the basics of the inputs, you have to navigate through all the menus to turn off the built in camera and microphone. This isn't an "enhanced experience" this TV snoops on you and send it back to Google (or worse). I'm tired of having to opt-out of all this junk and would rather have to opt-in to decide how much of my life in my home private space I want Google to see. I use this TV as basically a big monitor hooked up to a cable box, Roku, and DVD. I would rather have a great picture just to see the inputs than a TV that provides an "Google Experience". The only reason I purchased this TV was the low price.

Posted .Hi DavidF, Thank you for choosing the Hisense 55U8N and for sharing your feedback with us. This TV is capable of displaying a much wider viewing angle than what you currently experience. This unit does not come with a built-in camera. The microphone is only enabled when using voice commands such as Google Assistant. If you require additional assistance, please reach out to our dedicated support team directly at 1-888-935-8880 or via email at Service@Hisense-usa.com so that we can promptly address and resolve the issue for you. Google 55" TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the Hisense 55" U8 Series Mini-LED 4K UHD QLED Smart Google TV stands out for its exceptional picture quality, modern design, and smart capabilities. While the sound could be improved, its strengths make it a fantastic choice for both casual viewers and avid gamers. Buy it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge research guy. Do it for a living. I take into account the specs and relevance of the spec and need for it. This tv blows away tvs twice the price and then some. Latest bluetooth version, atmos etc. Not an oled, but I have an LG with Oled, and this is more vivid and crisp. A steal at this price point.

Nice picture and really good sound for a tv.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Give a nice picture and plenty bright with nice colors. It has very good sound for a tv. Lots of options to adjust things to get it how you like it. Still deciding on the Google UI as it’s the first times using it on my TV, I’m used to the Samsung UI on my main TV as this is in the bedroom. Easy access to the apps and the free internet tv. The only gripe I have is with the menu. It comes up on the bottom of the screen and the writing may be hard to read if you’re not close to the tv unless you have very good eyesight. Beyond that I like this tv and everything else about it.

Beautiful Picture and Great Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding Picture and sound. I’m an very particular about the performance of any product I purchase. This Hisense television outperforms others that cost hundreds of dollars more. The picture equals most OLED’s. I can’t speak of dependability since I only had it for about a month, but Hisense has a standard warranty of 2 years while Sony,,Samsung,TCL, and LG only has a 1 year warranty.

Great TV, Okay Interface
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gorgeous TV. I just wish Google TVs interface was a bit less convoluted. I'd rather have my apps front and center rather than the personalized content pushed ahead of that. It's possible to change this, but at the cost of reduced functionality. Honestly preferred my old Samsung TV's interface that went right to the app bar when turned on.
