Was researching a good T.V. for the Playstation 5. This T.V came ranked at #2 to 3. An OLED that is double the price was 1st. This T.V. has it all Hdmi 2.1, 120hz panel, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos etc. Compare my other 4k tv to this one is a joke. This blows it away. My friend said you have your sound bar and woofer on? I said No thats just the T V. The sound is amazing. Like sitting in a theatre. The price of these T.V.'s are actually going up, not down. Got mine here for 899. Now 999 and the 65 has gone up 200 dollars some places 3. Hisense isn't a popular brand for high end TV'S, but they knocked itnout of the park with this 1. Loving it

I ordered this as a gamble. Can report that my particular display seems to have almost 0 ghosting, VA intrinsic aside. Even that is fairly mild.
Upon plugging in, the tv reset multiple times for multiple updates.
The picture is very bright, colors are vivid, blacks are suitably black (it isn't OLED but to my eyes, they are suitable. It can have bloom, but honestly, lights bloom, and it's fine.
My main qualm is Android TV, but that is because I am used to Roku. My other, is freesync requires local dimming to be off. I hope they can somehow enable it, though I am not sure what the limitation behind that is.
All and all, fairly happy with my decision to play the panel lottery. Will update if anything goes down.

Lets get the good out of the way: The picture quality is good. Great, even. Response times in games are good. Brightness and HDR is amazing, I spent hours playing HDR games just staring in awe at light sources and specular highlights and how they just popped out of the picture like they were really there.
Sound is decent from the TV alone, but occasionally becomes crackly for short periods, which I haven't figured out the cause of.
What I really take issue with is that I purchased this because it was a highly rated TV with 120hz support and it just... can't really handle it.
If you switch on 120hz, the picture becomes blurry, reading text becomes a nightmare. It looks like a lower-resolution image upscaled to 4k, and according to people who know more about the internals of new TVs than I do, that's because the chipset in this TV is doing exactly that: cutting corners by processing the 4k 120hz signal at lower-than-4k quality. I'm far from the only person with this issue and if you search for "blurry 120hz U8G" you will find many discussions about it.
I haven't yet decided whether I'm going to spend time finding a TV that has ACTUAL native 4k 120hz support, or just save some cash on a decent 60hz display, but either way I'm returning this.

Love the tv. The colors really pop, playing my Xbox and PlayStation are super smooth, this was the main reason for purchasing this particular model. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Only minor issue is the arc between my Sonos beam and the Xbox was laggy at first connection, didn’t have a lag on my last tv but this one I did. Had to mess with the settings on the tv and add audio delay, plus tweak settings on the Xbox but now we’re ok. I would still recommend this tv. I had to buy a switcher to get a 2nd 2.1 hdmi since the arc uses one of them but if you don’t have multiple 2.1 needs than you might be fine with just hdmi 3 and 4 for 2.1.

Wow! Blown away by this tv. They tried to get me to get a Samsung and I almost did. The specs on this tv were better than the Samsung. Gaming at 120hz is amazing. The picture looks great. I don’t have an opinion about the speakers since I use external one. I don’t see the blooming some people yak about might have been fixed in the multiple updates it had to run through when I hooked it up. Awesome tv for the price no complaints.

I just purchased the Xbox series X, so I was looking for a TV that had all the bells and whistles to get the most out of the new system.
This TV has two HDMI 2.1 ports that allow you to reach 120 FPS at 4k and it looks fantastic. The image quality is clean and crisp.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the sound quality on this TV is too. No sound bar needed.
I think this TV is excellent for anyone who wants a solid TV for the new consoles (XSX or PS5) and doesn’t want to absolutely destroy their bank account.

We were looking for a replacement TV for our workout room and read up on the Hisense U8G. We decided to give it a try and were mildly impressed with it right out of the box, it was to bright for the room but were able to work with the settings and get a very good on the verge of great picture. The motion for sports is really good and 4K HDR and Dolby vision are great. More contrast and depth than I expected from a ULED tv (previous tv in that room was a plasma). It's an exceptional buy at this price point for this TV.

An amazing tv, easy setup and smooth OS. I had the TCL R646 and struggled with it over a month and finally exchanged it for the U8G. The only issue is with blooming around subtitles with a black background, otherwise the picture quality is stunning and all the apps function without any issues (unlike the R646).

Bought this tv after seeing other Hisence TVs in different establishments and being impressed with the brightness and clarity. Set it up at home and was disappointed with the picture quality and was ready to return it after trying all the settings with no improvement until I finally came across the right combinations and now I love it! Good sound as well and it also improved the sound with my surround sound thru my blu ray player. Not 100% sure its worth the extra $$ over comparable models, thus the 4 stars instead of 5, but I’m happy with it.

Replaced a nice, but older, Sony 1080p. So far, I’m very pleased. Sound and picture are very good, brightness is excellent, contrast is excellent. Colors really pop without being over-saturated. Works well with my PS5, and although none of my games really push the limits, it was a big step up in terms of playability for dark scenes. Set up was practically plug and play, There are probably advantages to more expensive OLEDs, but for the price, I’m not sure you can beat this one.

Great tv. Was disappointed at first until I updated my hdmi cables. I have cable tv that has sd channels, most are poor quality. Upscaling doesn't do much for the lower quality. If you watch a 4k youtube video it looks amazing. I watched one that was used as a demo video for a oled lg and my tv looked just as good.
