I absolutely love this TV. I already own the 65" version and needed a new TV for the bedroom, so I figured this would work perfectly. I know this is not as good as the top of the line OLEDs but I couldn't justify the price difference versus the picture quality difference. I love the Android TV interface. It works perfectly and has everything I need. The sound seems OK but nothing compared to the Denon receiver I am using for sound.

This turned out to be an upgrade over the 2020 TCL series 6. It wasnt intended to be but it was. The colors are as vibrant as the TCL set on vivid, blacks are better, and upscaling older content is way better. Its just a better TV picture wise and overall I guess. No complaints so far. So the Hisense UG8 stays upstairs and the TCL moves down to the man cave.

I was doubtful about the Hisense brand, but the associate in the store showed me how they stacked up and spoke highly. Read a few reviews, and I have been amazed by this TV. The picture quality makes my 2 prior LGs look weak, and the depth of color is awesome. It has great easy to manage settings and menus as well, Even better the remote is not overwhelming! I was going in to purchase the U7G and ended up getting the U8G instead.

Great tv for watching tv and playing games. Only issue is ghosting that happens when you play 60hz games using the hdmi 3 and 4 ports. Hisense is supposedly working on an update. If they fix this I would easily give this 5 stars.

This is an excellent TV. It is used as a PC monitor for gaming, and it does that very well. The only issue we have found is that with Windows the font is blurry at 120hz. So it is ran at 60hz in Windows. To get VRR working with an RTX 3080 we had to enable Freesync which seems odd but that is how it works. Excellent TV.

I waited over a year for the right TV to come along and boy am I glad I waited! This 55" U8G is an absolute stunner that has everything I could have asked for in an all-around entertainment center that is very much future-proof for years to come. Now, if I could only find a new gaming console to add to it I'd be thrilled beyond words!

Best Buy has really streamlined the buying process, and I appreciate that. I was able to find the tv I wanted, purchase it, and schedule delivery all from the comfort of my home. I love it! The Hisense U8G Series tv is beautiful. I spent many hours researching how to get the most for my money and this tv has met and/or exceeded all expectations!

Best bang for your buck tv.120hz 4k HDMI 2.1 and the PQ is very close to oled.

I was coming to best buy to buy another brand tv but was recommended the u8 Hisense and let me tell you the tv does not disappoint at all from very clear picture and very good speakers if you are in the market for a new tv I highly recommend this one

Great TV for the money. The picture is incredibly bright and detailed as long as you are viewing it from directly in front . From an angle the contrast of the picture starts to noticeably degrade. Even with that issue though it is a great TV that competes or betters many other more expensive LED’s.
