They appreciate the amazing picture quality, affordability, and simple setup process. TV was a really good deal. Very large and bright. Perimeter backlight starting to show. Basic tv with decent tech. No HDR. Hisense makes good TVs for price.

If you can find this item on sale, I recommend purchasing. The updated interface is very nice, google TV is spot on, much better then roku devices. The 60" size is perfect for those in conflict with there primary bedroom with a 55 seeming too small and a 65 being too big.
The price to screen ratio is very ideal for this TV. The colors are great, thin bezels is very appealing, minimal footprint and overall great design.
Connection ports are not on the edge of this device, they are located in central square region on the back, so reaching to connect any type of cable can be slightly difficult, but not a deal breaker.
My only conflict is apps responsiveness can be sluggish after initially using it and continuing after waking the system from sleep. I recommend rebooting the TV so apps function instantly or you'll wait patiently for internet traffic to catch up and apps start loading content.

Hisense might have a new loyal customer

At the time I am posting this review I have owned the TV for 19 days.
Before reading this review – I understand that the A6G model (from my research) lineup has different types of panels depending on what size TV you buy of the A6G. My 60 inch apparently has a VA panel which might be why the picture looks so much better than one of the reviews I saw of the same TV model in a different size with an IPS panel that came out after my purchase.
Why I was shopping for a new TV, what I was looking for, frame of mind regarding the purchase:
To replace an expensive (at the time) 60 inch Samsung that only lasted 6 years and developed dark shaded areas during certain images after only owning it for about a year and a half (so disappointing) which only got worse until the TV ultimately completely and suddenly died recently. I needed something that did not cost a million dollars to replace the TV during this time of year when the TV manufacturers put out new models and discontinue older models, so finding what you want at the price you want to pay can be a challenge especially with the effects the pandemic has had on availability of things. I wanted to buy at least the same size TV at a deal until I can get a deal on the target size of 75 inches for a really good picture.
I was hesitant to buy a Hisense only because I wonder about the brand’s durability and quality over time. But after my experience with an expensive Samsung, I may never buy an expensive top of the line TV, especially from Samsung.
My research:
My extensive research showed that many of the Hisense TVs were receiving very high marks for picture quality from various reviews but I could not find definitive information on longevity. So I tried to find people who owned Hisense TVs and did my own unscientific poll. My poll indicated that people who had bought Hisense TVs never had experienced any issues with their TV and some had owned the TV for multiple years with no issues. Still I see, online, people complaining about quality – so this still remains a concern.
My experience with my purchase:
Enter the Hisense A6G 60 inch TV going on sale for only $379.99.
At the time the TV went on sale, there were no good reviews of this model TV online. The only option I had was to go to Best Buy and test it myself. After 3 hours in the store, playing with the settings, and hooking up a 4K player to the TV, I was sold – for the price of 379.99 – I could not believe what I was seeing in the store. The picture was stunning.
After having it delivered and owning it now for almost 3 weeks, I am still super impressed for the price of 379.99.
The Good Stuff:
Picture - Overall – the picture is stunning in my opinion for 379.99. I put some comments in my issues section.
Sound – I cannot vouch for sound as I use an Onkyo receiver so it sounds great going through the Onkyo.
Setup – Super easy. Before I ever tried to use the TV, I immediately downloaded the most recent updates from Hisense so that any settings I adjusted would be done after all the updates were applied. I noticed that the menu and options seemed to be slightly different after the updates applied than what I had seen at Best Buy during my 3 hour evaluation. But I cannot say if the menu had changed on my actual TV after the updates were applied because I did not use the TV until after the updates were applied.
Interactivity with other devices through ARC – after the usual playing around and getting things right – it all seems to work with no issues. There is no (E)ARC for those of you looking for that. I run my source media through an Onkyo and the image to the TV from the Onkyo.
For me - the relatively minor “issues”:
Image issues – I notice on some dark scenes on a black background (i.e. night sky or very dark backgrounds or outer space) a bit of very minor light bleed overall but more so on the left hand side from the bottom edges the but even sometimes this is not even visible. When it is, it is very minor and for 379.99 – it doesn’t bother me at all. Around the right vertical edge of the screen that I have, on some types of backgrounds, which I find hard to classify and clearly describe (sky/ocean), occasionally I see a very slight vertical graying or band but it is not distracting to me as that part of the screen I do not look at for picture detail. Again, for 379.99, it does not bother me at all. I barely notice it but mention it to be fair.
Ambient TV noise – I don’t know if anyone else would even notice this – but when it is very quiet in the neighborhood and all the background noise from cars etc… goes away towards midnight to early morning around here -– there appears to be a fan on the back of the TV that runs similar to a laptop fan noise, but this is so very minor that I only really hear it if there is no sound coming from the TV and there are no noises coming from traffic outside or neighbors outside. I wonder if anyone else would even notice it.
Future Proof – This TV is not future proof – if you want something that supports the latest and likely to become the standards in the future – this TV is not for you. You will know this TV is not for you if you are researching those type of things for future proofing your TV.
Conclusion:
So far – Hisense has impressed me for a 379.99 TV – this is a no brainer – unless you are super picky or you get a lemon – I think you will be happy with what you paid, I think you will be impressed.
I hope that the TV holds up – if so – Hisense may have found a new loyal customer. Right now I am looking forward to possibly buying one of their higher end TVs in a larger size if this inexpensive A6G holds up.
Final comment – I have bought many things over my life, I have to say, for what I paid, so far, this is one of the most satisfying purchases I have ever made for what I paid. Also – this is the first online review I have ever made for any product. Why would I waste my time unless something is worth talking about….

Set up is the fastest and easiest I've ever seen. Picture quality is very good. I feel like it was overall a good value. The reason i can't give it 5 stars is because it took 3 tries to get one that didn’t have a defective or shattered screen. Originally purchased while out of town. Got it home, everything seemed fine. While setting it up it appeared to have a thin line running down the screen. At first i thought it was a fiber or string. I touched it to wipe it away and it spread across the screen. It was a defect of some sort. I called customer service. They were nice and arranged for a pick-up and drop-off at my home. PERFECT! Except the one that was delivered was damaged with a shattered screen starting in the upper left corner and had spread like a spiderweb across the entire screen. I had my doubts about the brand at this point. However, i did have confidence in my local Best Buy in Concord, NC. I took the 2nd television to them. They did an exchange, but more importantly they were patient as i insisted that they open the box for me to inspect AND plug it up so i could see that the screen was acceptable. I along with 2 employees carefully looked over this TV. Now, we are happy with this clear picture and even after all the mess with getting this TV i would happily purchase it again. I just hope it continues to remain clear for years to come.

This is a GREAT choice for a 60 inch Android TV. It fits perfectly in my bedroom which is about 13 X 15. I also have a 65 inch Hisense in my den which is a ROKU TV and I have been sold on that product ever since. Color is BEAUTIFUL and price of $449.00 cant be beat!! This TV has pretty much everything with Google Chromecast built in ( still learning the stuff that goes with that). I will say negative here are the speakers (I took off a star for that)...the sound is teeny (16 watts total) for its size and this TV will serve better with a soundbar so I will most likely purchase that. The Interface is wonderful and if you stream YouTube TV for your live programming you will be on cloud nine.

Picture quality is really good, vibrant colors and better viewing angles than I anticipated. The Android tv interface is a little sluggish but having chrome cast built in is a feature I use a lot. It’s nice to be able to cast directly to the tv without having to change inputs. Five stars for all this and being available in the rare 60-in size!

A great TV for the price. Picture quality is great, color and contrast very good. Sound is a bit tinny, but most TV's seem to exhibit this too. Our first Google TV, menu is easy to understand, navigate. All in all, very pleased.

If you want the best bang for your buck, the Hisense is the way to go. If you're not looking to drop two grand on an OLED or ULED TV (who could blame you?) or even 700+ on a QLED, you want to make sure you're not getting a garbage panel. And there are plenty out there. Go this route. I'm not a fan of the Android TV platform, but that's personal preference. It's just fine. I just prefer Roku or even the Vizio OS to the Google Play store. But the quality is great for a casual viewer who doesn't know much about color and black levels. It's easy to get up and running, and the home screen gives you suggestions for what to watch in your apps that are signed in, so you don't have to go searching for the programs.

I bought two of these TV's during a sale event and I enjoy them both. They are easy to setup, either by using a phone or the provided remote to connect to google services and applications. The tv looks good in low light conditions as well as in daytime viewing. The software is good, and all the apps I want and need are available and responsive.
The remote is the average tv remote with the functionality of voice control. It works, but not well enough for me to label it as a plus factor for the tv. One panel had a factory defect at the top left of the screen. There was a single dead pixel there, and in normal viewing it doesn't show. I decided to keep the tv, and I haven't regretted it at all. This tv is worth the money.

We got this for our master bedroom and we are completely astonished by the image and sound quality of this model.
Honestly, we previously had a 65" Hisense TV that we end up selling because it was just a fair image, even while being a 4K.
The quality on that one felt not-so-good so when we got this one we where actually expecting the same type of product (we stuck to a budget and this one was the best specs vs price) But no! pleasant surprise, the colors are super bright and vivid, the 4K image feels really 4K and the sound is super clear (vol. level 6 usually is more than enough, you don't loose any sound).
Aside this the TV has no bezel (frame) it is all screen which is awesome, super light and really thin.
In the living room we have a X80J from Sony (75"), and honestly I will have totally bought this model for that room if I knew it was going to be this good, I could have saved a couple bucks!

I cannot be happier with the resolution, color and contrast rendering. Before this I had an LED TV and there is a night and day difference in the blacks, far superior.
I still haven't been able to get my hands on a PS5 or a 120hz console so I cannot testify about that part of the performance.
It required minimal calibration to bring some details out of the blacks and that was about it.
It is not crazy heavy but it is extremely odd to handle because of its size, so it is difficult for one person to set it up, definitely have someone help you, I did it on my own and it took some hours and tinkering to carry it and install it on my own. If you are not handy don't risk the 3k+ money of the TV
The interface is good, responsive and not laggy. Have been using it daily for 4 to 8 hours for a month without any freezes or errors.

I would recommend this TV if you are on a budget. I initially went in to get a LG 55" but stubbled upon this guy which was 250 bucks cheaper and much larger. I was impressed with the display initially.
Picture is crystal clear and brightness is very strong. Lets just say Hisense has steped their game up. I also enjoy the fact its an android TV witch google and chromcast. Google gives you voice search and voice play for music and movies. Love it!
Love the chromecast because i usually connect my samsung phone to the TV alot to share media and its super simple. Thanks!
