Keeps flashing at times

Not good

Sound issue

Not bad, not great, but not bad

They aren't the biggest name in tv, but they are definitely growing. Off the bat, the tv's thin frame make this an attractive looking tv. It isn't the thinnest tv, but for the price, a little heft is expected. The HDR really help some of the scenes that have vibrant colors pop, and some of the blacks are okay. Although I found that some scenes, the black tends to look like a muddled dark gray. The LED can't compare to OLED or QLED, but the colors aren't bad for a LED. On vivid picture mode, the colors look pretty well saturated. Setting up the tv is pretty straight forward. The built in Chromecast is a nice feature, but more of a novelty, not a necessity. The sound on the tv speakers is actually pretty decent. The bass was the biggest let down, as some action movies felt a little off during scenes with intense sound effects. The remote is pretty basic, with a mic button to help you use your voice to search for Youtube videos, or find movies. I did plug in my game console, and the game mode did remove a little bit of the lag, but it's still not comparable to using a monitor. There really isn't a top notch feature on this tv. The many picture options are a nice touch, but the one thing I do miss is some type of 120hz to 240hz upscaling, especially for sports. For some reason I can't change the aspect ratio either. All in all, it has a budget entry level tv feeling to it, but for the price it's not a bad tv, just not a great one.

Great features, poor panel quality.

It has all of the neat features of a modern smart TV, but the panel quality on the one I got was bad. Out of the box, it had terrible clouding and backlight bleed (Dark scenes in movies/shows were light gray on the left side of the screen it was so bad)

Great size, great picture, great sound

The size is great for the room (it's longer and narrow so the larger size works well). The picture is very good for the few games/movies I tested out at first, and the sound is too. The tv comes with pedestal mounts included and the 65" size has optional widths based on the table you are using. (if your table is not as wide as the tv you can set the stand narrower vs wider - good feature for larger tvs and not so large tables) Included are power cord, stand legs & hardware, remote, booklet, AV cord converter (the tv does not have 3-plug AV adaptor just 1-plug AV so you need the converter if going from RCA cables) Included input/output: 4-HDMI 2-USB(A) 1-LAN (network) 1-AV (RCA single plug) 1-Opt Audio Out The setup was pretty quick and easy. Recommend two people to carry but the box opens easy so 1 person can assemble w/ 2nd to help lift. Requires a screwdriver to attach stand legs (not provided) Optional wall mounting I did not do at this time (requires wall mount and hardware separate - definitely want 2 people for this) Once plugged in and setup it was easy to startup. There is an option to use Android setup from your phone (if you have and Android). I have an iPhone so I had to do the traditional setup. Also of note, the inputs are all pointed to the side and not back so the tv can mount flush to the wall easier without cords bending. Also it's easy to reach the jacks from the side if the tv is close to the wall. The remote has voice control so you can search settings, apps, etc. from the remote without typing in everything. I like this tv and it's a very good price for the features. I also have a 60" Hisense (older model without the # of inputs and voice). I am very happy with that one too. I typically prefer LGs but these have been very pleasing.

Bad purchase

Best Buy does not take anything back after 15 days. Hisense refused to give us a free exchange even though their own technician wrote in his report that the damage was not caused by us. Had to go and buy a new TV. Will never buy Hisense again. Beware, you get what you pay for Feel that if I would have bought it on Amazon, I'd have a new TV in no time. Hard lesson learned

An excellent Smart TV at a very reasonable price

For what you get, it is quite possibly one of the largest and most feature packed affordable TV’s I have seen to date. This is our first Hisense TV and so far, so good. I have no way to comment on longevity, but when I purchase electronics, nine out of ten times I opt for the geek squad / extended coverage. That said, this TV has zero issues whatsoever out of the box. I really like the size of a 65” TV. While it is a tad overkill for secondary rooms (or is it), it is a perfect size for living rooms, bonus rooms, basements, etc. At this price, you could buy three and still be under the price I paid for a 46” non-smart TV about 10 years ago. My oh my how times have changed. As far as the screen and picture are concerned, arguably the most scrutinized feature of a TV, I am very happy with it. I have other flat screen smart TV’s that are more expensive and have a tad sharper text, but the main video quality is fantastic and that is the most important feature anyway. The screen is bright and vibrant. You can easily change your video settings to taste, but I have found that I prefer how it was set up by default straight out of the box. The speakers are very nice and plenty loud enough. They sound good and clear and will work for most situations. To go up a notch, adding a soundbar and subwoofer package is always an option and will really get the immersion factor kicking. Just think, a nice 65” smart TV, a soundbar, and a subwoofer, all for well under 1K. Is that even real?! The Android/Google integration works extremely well once you set it all up and log into your account(s). We are all Android users, so this is a huge reason we opted for this model and it hasn’t disappointed. Mirroring your phone to the TV is an option I didn’t think I needed or wanted until I had it and tried it. We have been playing Samorost 2 on the phone while mirroring on the TV and it’s awesome. The remote is really nice and even has a microphone so you can just press a button and give voice commands to search for shows, etc. It works well and is a nice addition. The remote also has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime, Peacock, YouTube, Disney+, and Tubi. What's cool is that when the TV is off and you want to sit down and watch something, you can just power it on with one of these buttons and go straight into that particular app immediately. I like this feature a lot. I also really like the menu system. It is easy to navigate and is presented in such a way that anyone can use it. For instance, I use bluetooth headphones at night so I don’t wake up the kiddo and finding the bluetooth pairing options in the menu was straight forward and it connected my headphones with ease. The latency is non-existent, so that is also a bonus. This TV gives you options, options, options, as far as apps to use for viewing content. Everything from YouTube, to Netflix, to HBO, to Tubi, to Disney+, Amazon Prime, to Hulu and more, more, more. I haven’t even scratched the surface of the apps you can actually download and install for content. Streaming has worked flawlessly for me so far. I do have a fast internet connection so I am sure that helps. If I had anything to say that I would change if I could, I would make the VESA mount bolts a bit bigger in diameter. While the TV is pretty light (unlike the old days) I would still prefer the mounting bolts to be a little bigger for peace of mind. The bolts that came with my particular wall mount didn’t include the correct depth for this TV so I did have to make a trip to the local hardware store and get some that worked. I also ended up using flat washers and a lock washer on each bolt for extra peace of mind. Once I got those installed and put it on the wall, it felt secure. Ultimately, if you are looking for a competitively priced smart TV with loads of functionality, and the customer in mind with its ease of use, I can highly recommend the Hisense. Go see it at your local store. Just make sure you have a truck or box van and be ready to leave with it!
