Not the best

Apps cut of f mid-stream and takes multiple clicks and re-setting to get it back going. I would not recommend this tv to family nor friends.

Best Buy Review

We returned this tv 3 times due to technical problems with the set itself. The store offered no solution, Greek squad was no assistance after holding for more than 45 min. The store manager offered no alternative solution. Returned the TVs and purchase elsewhere.

Very good TV for price point
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unbox the TV from the bottom and it will be much easier to remove. It comes packaged with cardboard on the front sides. Keep this on to protect your screen until you have the TV either wall mounted or on its feet. We wall mounted the TV to replace a smaller TV. Double check your wall mount and make sure it can handle the size and the weight. I really dislike TV’s when they put the feet so far apart but this one has 4 places to put your feet into so it doesn’t have to be as far apart as shown in the pictures. Setup is supposed to be simple with your Google account and an Android phone. Just connect to your phone and it will setup. It said it was but 45 minutes later nothing was advancing. So I backed up and manually set it up which was still easy. We use a FireTV stick so I just plugged it in and it was ready to go. But I also setup a few apps and tested with the Firestick removed. You can connect to your Google device and use it to control your TV with your voice. That worked well. Chromecast is also built in. It easily paired with my Sideclick on my FireTV remote. The sound is good and goes up quite loud. Our old TV had the volume fading but never was super loud. Some apps need to be at a much higher volume to hear them and this TV can do that. The sound quality is good but lacks bass. It is adequate or you could add a sound bar. It is actually much better than the Sony TV we have in another room. We have very high-speed internet and yet sometimes the picture lags on this TV. So I tested with a DVD and still had the same problem so it wasn’t the internet or the broadcast channel. For the price, this is a very good TV. Features are more basic but the 4K works very well. You can stream 4K from Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc… or use a 4K DVD. The picture is very crisp and shows a difference from regular TV. But there was also occasional lagging. Recommended if you want a nice big TV at a reasonable price. NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.

Problems with Apps

I uninstalled it and now it won't re-install, and now no apps will install. I've had to unplug the TV a few times to fix other things that stopped working. Owning a Hisense TV is not a trouble-free experience.

You can't go wrong with this TV

My first HiSense is a 55” H9 Plus received in October 2018, so I will compare based on what I see as improvements and/or upgrades. Even before I completed setting up the TV, I see an improvement. Because of the size of the TV, you’re given two options where to install the base legs if you choose not to mount. If your table is large and long enough, you can install the base legs at the far end of the TV. If the table isn’t that long, you can install the base legs about 12 inches inwards on both sides. With this, the TV is still stable and the legs are placed are roughly ¼ on each end of the TV. The TV isn’t the slimmest TV because the speaker is on the backside, but it’s slimmer than the previous HiSense. Now, I actually turn on the TV, connect it to the Wi-Fi and start playing with the settings. Another improvement is actually in my hands…the remote. On the 1st HiSense TV, the remote had a flimsy and cheap feel. Also, the placement of some buttons wasn’t practical. It was like they just placed the buttons in any position. The remote on the A6G feels like it made with better materials. Button placement is much better. As I used a PS4 and a Firestick, there’s an input button where you can easily swap back and forth. This wouldn’t be a big deal on most other TV, but the input was basically hidden and you had to search for and it wasn’t an easy process to switch inputs. Bells and Whistles: Four HDMI inputs, multiple HDR setups to choose from, or you can adjust to your own personal preferences. I know a lot of people like to judge the sharpness how black the backgrounds are. Based on that, I don’t see any issues. The pictures do appear sharper and clearer than the H9 and just as clear as the 65” LG I have. I’ve used the Firestick and the PS4. No issues with picture quality or Wi-Fi connection. Connected to my soundbar and no syncing issues using the ARC. I had syncing issues using ARC on the H9 and my only workaround was using the optical cord. Based on the functions and the price, you’re getting everything you would expect on a high-end name brand TV for a lot less.

Top of the line TV

Easy set up, great picture, the sound is great don't need no sound bar. I'm kinda hard of hearing and I can hear it great. It would probably sound better with a sound bar. I would recommend this TV highly.
