Garbage

Then all the apps started giving error codes. Emailed Hisense, took 6 days to get a response. Their answer was reset the tv to factory settings, I told them i shouldn’t have to work on a new tv. So I reset everything, re installed all my apps. Everything worked good for another month. Now today I’ve owned this tv for 100 days and I’m having to reset everything again. Stay away, its not worth the risk that you might get a good one.

Not worth the price in my opinion.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Constantly optimizing, color is not good at all my off brand tv does a much better job as far as color goes and it was $350.00 cheaper, I have tried all color options and nothing helps. Besides a big screen I would never recommend this tv. Very dissatisfied in this purchase.

Awesome Value, Very Good TV
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was all set to compare this TV to the old Aquos it is replacing, but once I had it setup and connected, it looked so much better than the old TV that I never switched back. It is much more comparable to the smaller Sony quantum dot TV we have in another room. This Hisense H8G is very easy to setup and get connected (except for getting Amazon Alexa connection configured). It is relatively light for its size, so it was not too much of a strain for me to relocate once assembled - although it is still awaiting wall mounting. The default color is very accurate if a bit too vivid for my taste (I turned it down a bit) and the unit is plenty bright im my rather light filled living room - I had to turn that down, too. Android TV makes most settings changes really simple and easy - Amazon Alexa being the only exception. Most, but not all, of the Roku apps that I use are available as native Android TV apps and they work so well - I may not use that Roku much any more. I forgot to mention the incredible sound quality of this tv - it is so good that you might not need a sound bar. I noticed this while streaming music through the TV and found it to be very, very good if not quite as good as a more conventional sound system. Getting connected to Amazon Alexa required a rather convoluted process that did ultimately work. Overall, this is a very good TV and a really good value.

Budget tv

It had a lot of lag in it also a lot of pixelating and when movies would change seems the TV would flash. I took it back I’m waiting on the new Visio to come out.

Stay away from

Android TV is not users friendly. You constantly have to clear the cache in order for the apps to work correctly or they will crash or not work at all. Tech support through Hisense was not very helpful at all. Now the TV just blinks between RGB black and white after a year since purchase. I have to wait for Geek Squad support for 2 days without my TV. This is not the service I expected being a elite member and having the total protection plan.

Hazy Smoky picture on all settings; HD not clear

I followed all the settings advice from the professional reviewers, but the settings didn't help. The TV is much worse than the Samsung 55" we bought in 2015. It's distractingly bad.

Poor quality controle

The quality controle of Hisense is pure garbage. The first TV LCD was received was broken out of the box. The second TV starred to develop some weird white lines after a software update. Resetting the TV did not help. Do not buy this TV and save yourself time and headache.

Broke quickly

Yes to Hisense!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Can I say first that this is the largest TV I've ever owned, going from 55" to 65" brings binge watching to a whole new level. The box itself was well packaged there were no dents bangs or bruises to the item inside. The top portion of styrofoam contains the feet, which to me looked pretty flimsy, however when I picked them up they are kind of hefty. I plan on wall mounting so I did not attach the feet. The other item in the box are the remote w/batteries, power cord and the user manual. So turning on and setting it up was sooo easy as it's an Android, all I needed to do was get into my Google account which I did via a code sent to my cell phone. Very nice! I had done some research on this brand before it arrived to my home and the one thing that I remember standing out to me was not to use the out the box settings. Boy was that accurate, the picture was somewhat washed out, however after tweaking it per the youtube tutorial, it made a world of difference. The colors are so vibrant, they pop off the screen. The picture is crisp and sharp. And the sound is actually booming from this TV, I can't wait to hook it up to my Atmos sound system...after I purchase an HDMI 2.0. So who needs to go to the theater anyway, LOL All in all, this Hisense, to me, gives a lot of bang for the buck. And unless you're a person who's used to having the $20K TV hanging on your wall, I don't see anyway you'll be disappointed!

Not enough processing

Decent quality fornthe price

After downloading the habdful of apps i use, it constantly threw a "low storage" warning. Overall, not bad. I have had it 5 years, and it just now started giving me dark spots on the screen. Not too bad for a sub-$700 65" 4K tv.

Great Picture, Great Features, Great Value

You have no idea how long I have waited to say that and have something happen. Real integration with my smart home is the icing on the cake for this TV. Out of the box things were straight forward (the feet are in the very top nestled in the foam btw). The on screen prompts and quick set up guide were super easy to follow and I was up and running in just a few minutes. That includes adding it to my google home set up. The picture is really sharp, rich, and pleasant on the eyes. I don't have empirical means to test but I do have some favorite movies and other sources of video I like to put on screen and this was truly a nice experience. The room I have it in is subject to a range of ambient lighting conditions and regardless, the picture is beautiful. I have another older HIsense that I have enjoyed for a few years and this new version is better in every way. Being an android device the interface is easy to use and feels familiar. I am still going to hook this up to my home theater but I am really amazed at how good the on bard sound is on something that is so thin. If you are going to rely on the TV as is you wont be disappointed in any aspect of this device.

The picture is really nice. The tv was delievered although with only the right piece of the stand leaving me unable to use it right away. I am not a fan of their customer service department at all after having to contact them for the missing piece. It took a week and a half to get here and they didn't even apologize for my inconvienence. I am really disappointed in the limited choice of apps and the home screen. The tv seems to run on youtube. I have small kids and apps like Nick Jr and Disney Jr are not available. The color and sound varies on quality

Awesome TV - great affordable option

The colors are quite good, and most importantly the refresh rate is excellent - playing video games I notice no blur or anything of the sort. Very smooth and enjoyable. The speakers are pretty good for a TV as well, though I would still purchase a separate sounder. All in all, an excellent choice!

Not having a great experience

Now whenever we try to run Netflix or any other Internet based service the TV won’t cooperate. My internet is working fine and other connected devices in the house are working properly and I have 150-200 MBPS download speeds. The internet blogs say to unplug the tv and plug it back in to fix. This works, but I’ve been doing this everyday. No easy solution. Anyone have advice on a permanent fix and if this is an ongoing problem? About to return the product.
