We pickef up tv and set up. Small plastic piece fell out, tv looked used. We turned on and screen had burn in, see the photo. So i called customer service and they gave me a case number for ease of return. Took back tv and fee days late. Best buy store proceeded to open it up and plug tv in. Then told me screen was fine. I showed them photo and they finally gave me a refund less the 60 gift card, which i will never use. They wouldn't cancel the gift card. Found the tv for same price on amazon, free delivery and no issues. Will never shop at BB again.

Great Bang for Buck TV
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Hisense has released their 2024 QD7 TVs which are a great follow-up to their previous line. They come in 65, 75, and 85 inches. The box includes TV, 2 base stands with 4 mounting screws, spacers for mounting, remote control, 2 AAA batteries, power cord, quick setup guide/paperwork. The TV comes with a manufacturer's 2-year warranty.
Disclaimer: I am reviewing the 65-inch QD7 model (65QD7N)
PROS:
-----------
* Putting the base stands onto the TV bottom was simple. They can only go on one way, so you can't mess up or get them backwards.
* Initial setup was simple with the IR/BT remote. During setup, the remote is actually bluetoothed (paired) with the TV.
* I like that this TV has multiple options for AUDIO OUTPUT - 3.5mm headphone jack, optical, & eARC though the 3.5mm option isn't really mentioned anywhere online.
* When using the Google Assistant (mic button) to search for apps, TV shows, and movies, this typically worked like a charm. It's very easy to get where you need to go simply by using the mic button.
* The QLED 4K picture is very colorful and ultra-clear with a screen that combats moderate glare. The 4K picture looks really great and the high refresh rate keeps scenes moving smoothly, including when playing video games (up to 144Hz). Note that HDMI1-2 are 60Hz and HDMI3-4 are 144Hz.
* The HDR & Dolby Vision formats this TV can handle are abundant. The blacks looks great, and overall color gamut is quite good.
* 4 HDMI inputs with one of those using eARC is enough for most people. Wifi and Ethernet ports are available for smart connections. I use ethernet when possible due to wired signal stability and have had no issues. Two USB 2.0 ports are available that can provide power to other low-power devices if needed. One is 5V/1A and the other is 5V/0.5A.
* TV can be wall-mounted (VESA 300x400). There is no mounting hardware provided other than a couple of spacers if needed.
* Quick buttons on the remote to open specific apps - Netflix, Prime, YouTube, Disney+, tubi, and an APPS button to bring up all apps. Other basic remote functions are also available including an INPUT button to switch between HDMI sources and the Smart functions.
* The frameless screen gives a good modern touch to the TV. There is still about a 1/2-inch black border around the screen itself.
* The TV is not incredibly heavy weighing in at ~34 lbs.
* The microphone function works great when bringing up apps or shows; however, I did rename HDMI1 to "Dish" and I still had to switch to that input by saying "HDMI1" instead of "Dish". Google did not know what Dish was even though the input was renamed that.
* The 4K AI Upscaler did a pretty good job at improving the picture of some older movies I tested. And actual 4K content was very spectacular.
CONS:
-----------
* As with most TVs, it is highly recommended to use a sound bar or sound system of some kind. The sound on this TV is acceptable at a standard 20W; however, still not great... If the volume gets too loud, the chassis tends to vibrate with certain sound frequencies.
* When performing a search (for an app, for instance), when you are typing letters, there is no auto-filter feature WHILE typing. For example, if you are looking to install the "Paramount+" app and you start typing "Para", nothing appears on-screen until you hit the SEARCH button. This is a basic function on most smart TV devices that should have been implemented here. This is a big miss. Also, when I searched for "DTV", the suggestion for "DirecTV" did not come up which is strange. I had to actually type "Direc..." and hit search for DirecTV to show up in the apps section.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS:
-----------
* The remote is very light, has a decent feel, and functions well for the most part. Placement of buttons are in good spots for muscle memory.
* The power is indicated by a white power light on the front. The button is located under the power light area and can also be turned OFF in the TV settings if the white power light is distracting when viewing the TV in low-light environments.
* I used eARC for audio and had no issues. I paired some BT headphones to the TV and they worked great with no audio/video delays.
* The IR sensor is located in the bottom/middle of the TV, so if you have a speaker bar that blocks this sensor, you may have issues with, for example, another remote that is paired with this TV but only uses IR instead of BT. If that's the case, you may have to provide some height under the legs so the IR sensor will not be behind your speaker bar.
* TV was packed nicely in the box and was not difficult to remove though 2 people may be preferred for initial unpacking.
CONCLUSION:
=====================
Overall, this TV is a great cheaper option than some of the other manufacturers. The picture itself is fine along with the abundance of popular apps available in the Google Store. All Dolby audio options are available along with 3.5mm which is a plus. All-in-all, a solid TV and a great bang for your buck at this price point. I would absolutely recommend AND buy again.

Amazing TV for gaming consoles and movie watching

I've had this TV set up in the bedroom for almost a week now and I have to say that this is one of the best TV's I've ever owned. You get a ton of value and features for your money with this Hisense TV.
it is 65" it has 4 HDMI inputs.. 2 of which are HDMI 2.1 so they will take full advantage of your PS5, or Xbox Series X and you'll be able to game at 4k , 120hz. Which is so cool that this TV has this function at this price point. The tv is actually capable of outputting 144hz, but your console will cap at 120hz. If you have a PC , you'll be able to take advantage of the full refresh rate. It also has 20 watt speakers in it which (to my ears) sound fantastic. They are loud, sound full and actually have a little bit of bass. They sound great when Im watching movies and playing my video game consoles. The display is QLED technology, which means you will get amazing contrast, and vibrant colors. My unit has a little bit of light bleed at the top and bottom, but it looks worse in the photos I have shared than it does in person. The tv weighs about 33 lbs ( really lightweight for its size) and it has really cool and convenient handles in the back to help you life and carry the tv to mount or put on a stand. I highly recommend this TV if you are on a budget and would like a good TV for gaming. It supports variable refresh rate in " game mode pro" it is compatible with AMD freesync and has auto low latency mode when gaming. I don't have the tools to measure the exact response time, but it feels really good to me. If I had to guess I would say that it has to be under 15ms. It almost feels as snappy as my monitor.
Hisense has knocked it out of the park with this TV and I honestly cannot think of a better value for a 65" TV. I love it, and if you are a budget baller, I think you will love this TV as well.

Hisense has been a Chinese electronic manufacturing company since 1994, but has dominated homes through China. In fact, as of today, Hisense owns the largest market share in China since 2004! Sure, the brand isn't as well known in the United States, but with TV technology being more and more inclusive, I'm sure Hisense will begin to gain popularity soon.
We ordered this TV for our kid's entertainment room, which previously had a lower budget projector in it. In our main living room area, we own an OLED, which is the bar every TV wants to get to in regards to picture quality. I admit, that I judged the Hisense quality before setting it up, believing it to be obviously inferior to the majority of other options - but boy was I wrong.
What separates Hisense from other companies that are more well known in the U.S., like LG, Samsung or Sony, for example, is the absolute value you get. This QD7 Series isn't necessarily a "high end OLED offering" from Hisense, but it's a VERY medium-range capable LED with bright colors and outstanding contrast that will only cost you a fraction of what a lot of other TVs cost. The HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision work well and it's gaming capabilities hold strong with 144hz refresh rate. There is also QLED Quantum Dot Color, 4K AI Upscaler, Motion Rate 240, Game Enhancement 240 to add to the features of this direct lit 4K TV. It also comes with the usual onboard apps (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc.) and uses the very clean Google TV UI. All of these features and specs for $499.99 (current price). That's amazing, really, when you see how bright the colors are.
With four HDMI 2.1 capable inputs, you won't have any trouble hooking up multiple consoles, TV boxes or your gaming PC, if you have one. I appreciate TV manufacturers giving more than the typical two HDMI outlets, when we live in a world now where there are multiple devices that we can plug in. HDMI 1 gives you eARC as well.
After completing the set-up and hooking up a soundbar to the TV, we had no issues with picture, audio or anything else. I enjoyed going through the settings and exploring the many options we had - especially when it comes to the A.I. features, which will automatically change the picture by the lighting in the room or what is being displayed on the screen.
PROS:
* Value is incredible - the features, picture quality to price ratio is excellent
* Excellent color separation, contrast and pop
* Set-up was simple
* Four HDMI inputs for all your gaming/entertainment needs
* Small bezels which present an engaging large screen
* A.I. upscaler and lighting features are implemented well and do not distract while watching
* Voice-controlled remote
* Google TV UI is the cleanest I've used
CONS:
* cheaper feeling remote
* TV speakers are underwhelming (but the majority of TV speakers are)
This is our first Hisense TV, so time will tell how it will hold up. TVs used to last at least 10 years, but we live in a technological river of newness, and most of us chase the next best thing, so keeping a TV for 10 years is rare these days, but I hope this will at least last 5.

I purchased the Hisense 65-Inch QD7N Series QLED TV, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely Loving My Hisense QD7 - Great Picture,

I've been using the Hisense 65" Class QD7 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (2024) for a little while now, and I’m very happy with it!
The picture quality is fantastic — sharp, vibrant colors, and deep blacks. Everything runs smoothly, from streaming apps to gaming. Google TV makes the whole experience super intuitive and easy to use. Setup was also very quick and straightforward.
One small thing I wish they had done differently is the placement of the HDMI and USB ports — they're on the back of the TV, which can be a little tricky to access if you have it wall-mounted or placed close to a wall. It would have been more convenient to have them on the side.
Other than that, it’s been an excellent TV so far. Stable, fast, and just overall great value for the price. Highly recommend!

My old TV had a crappy picture and for years and I'd been waiting to get a new one. I have a PS5 and had been wanting to get something that could give me the great picture, but I would never be able to afford one of those $1,500+ TV's. This was the perfect TV for the price! It has an amazing picture, excellent for gaming without breaking the bank. The gaming menu lets you set it so you can see the actual fps while playing, and while God of War Ragnarok will drop to 80fps or so during gameplay, MLB The Show 24' runs at a steady 120fps. They both look amazing though. The VRR and ALLM both work, could not be happier. And the streaming, things I've watched a million times, like Game of Thrones, looks amazing in 4K! For $499, I got it on sale, I think, even if it was $600 I'd do it. Great TV for the price, and you don't have to be a thousandaire. Do it!

Review: Hisense QD7 Series 65-Inch Smart 4K TV – The Ultimate Viewing Experience
When I purchased the Hisense QD7 Series 65-Inch Smart 4K TV, I expected a great TV, but what I got far exceeded those expectations. This is not just a TV; it’s a gateway to cinematic brilliance that redefines home entertainment. Here’s why this TV deserves a standing ovation:
Picture Quality That Stuns
The Quantum Dot technology delivers vibrant, true-to-life colors that make every scene pop. Whether I’m watching my favorite movies in 4K Dolby Vision or streaming HD content, the precision in detail and depth is unparalleled. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth motion, perfect for fast-paced action movies or gaming.
HDR10 and Dolby Vision – A Game Changer
The HDR performance is jaw-dropping. From the darkest shadows to the brightest highlights, the dynamic range creates an immersive viewing experience. Watching content in Dolby Vision feels like stepping into the movie itself.
Sound That Complements the Visuals
The built-in Dolby Atmos support makes audio feel three-dimensional. Explosions rumble, dialogue is crisp, and ambient sounds envelop the room, transforming it into a mini-theater.
Smart Features That Wow
The Google TV integration is seamless and intuitive. It provides personalized recommendations and an extensive library of streaming apps, making it effortless to find something to watch. The voice control with Google Assistant adds convenience, while the integration with my smart home devices is flawless.
Design That Shines
The sleek, modern design of the QD7 series fits perfectly into my living room decor. The thin bezels keep the focus on the stunning display, and the build quality feels premium.
Performance Across All Content
What sets this TV apart is its versatility. Whether I’m streaming HDX content on Vudu, watching free shows on PlutoTV, or gaming in 4K, the performance is consistently top-tier. Even HD content looks stunning, thanks to the upscaling capabilities.
Value for Money
At its price point, the Hisense QD7 Series offers features and performance that rival TVs costing twice as much. It’s proof that cutting-edge technology doesn’t have to break the bank.
Final Verdict
The Hisense QD7 Series 65-Inch Smart 4K TV is an absolute masterpiece. It combines breathtaking visuals, immersive audio, and smart features into one sleek package. If you’re looking for a TV that delivers a cinematic experience every time you press play, look no further. This TV deserves all the praise—and your living room deserves this TV.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase of the Mini LED QD7 4K UHD Smart Fire TV in the massive 85” size. This TV is absolutely stunning in every way from picture quality to smart features and it has completely transformed my living room into a full fledged home theater.
Let’s start with the picture quality: it’s simply jaw dropping. The 4K resolution delivers incredibly sharp, clear images and the Mini LED technology provides exceptional contrast and brightness. The blacks are deep and inky, while the whites are bright and crisp. What really blew me away was the Quantum Dot (QD7) color technology. The colors are vivid, accurate and incredibly lifelike. Whether I’m watching a movie, sports or gaming, everything looks dynamic and immersive. Fast action scenes are smooth and fluid with no noticeable motion blur.
The size 85 inches is perfect for creating that big screen experience at home. It feels like I’m at the movies, especially with the excellent audio that comes built in. The sound is surprisingly rich and powerful for a flat screen, though I did add a soundbar for an even fuller surround effect.
Another huge plus is the built in Fire TV smart platform. The interface is fast, responsive and incredibly user friendly. With Alexa voice control built in, I can switch inputs, open apps, adjust volume and even control smart home devices just by speaking. Streaming is seamless with all the major apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and more ready to go out of the box. The Wi Fi connection is solid with no buffering even when streaming in 4K.
Setup was surprisingly easy for such a large TV. Two people are definitely needed to lift and position it but once it’s up, it looks sleek and modern, with ultra thin bezels that make the display feel even more expansive. Included stand is sturdy and the wall mount compatibility is a great option if you prefer a cleaner look.
One of my favorite features is the customizable picture and sound modes. Whether I’m watching sports, a movie or playing on my PS5, I can switch to the best settings with just a click. The Game Mode especially makes a noticeable difference low input lag and ultra smooth gameplay.
Energy efficiency is another bonus. For such a large screen, it doesn’t seem to consume too much power, and it has helpful eco settings to optimize energy usage.
In short, this Mini LED QD7 85” Smart Fire TV is a fantastic investment. It offers premium performance, outstanding image quality, smart features and the wow factor of an 85" screen, all at a price that’s very reasonable for what you’re getting. I couldn’t be happier with it and everyone who visits my home is equally impressed. If you’re thinking about upgrading your entertainment setup, don’t hesitate, this TV is absolutely worth it.

We had the same 55" for 9 years. Not bad and we had done some searches for great TVs. It was either this one or an 85" model for $850. This has an elevated refresh rate, setup was super easy and my wife can share via Airplay when she uses the TV. Wow the colors are so much brighter, sounds great, this is a great purchase!

Great TV, does exactly what I wanted it to. After a little bit of configuration, I'm running games off of my connected PC at 144Hz in 4K. Some older games have allowed me to achieve 144fps in 4k. Although it's not Audiophile Quality or anything, I'm surprised by the sound which I haven't had to turn up past 20% at any point yet. I thought I would need to buy a sound bar, but that's not necessary! The QLED is super bright and the 144hz refresh rate definitely makes a noticeable difference over my previous 60Hz LED. I couldn't imagine a better value in the 65" range of TVs.
