I’ve been really happy with this TV so far. The picture quality is easily the best part of it. The Mini-LED backlighting and local dimming give it deep blacks, bright highlights, and excellent contrast. HDR content looks great, and movies, games, and streaming shows all have a lot of pop without looking overdone. Colors look great to my eyes. I don’t own a colorimeter, so I can’t speak to measured color accuracy, but nothing has ever looked off to me. Skin tones look natural, colors look vibrant, and HDR content has plenty of punch. At the end of the day, it just looks good, which is what matters most. One feature I didn’t think I’d care much about was the matte screen, but I’ve ended up really liking it. It does a great job cutting down reflections compared to the glossy TVs I’ve owned in the past. If you have windows or lights in the room, you’ll appreciate it. Setup was easy. I also like that Hisense lets you mount the feet in two different positions. You can put them at the far ends like a normal large TV, or move them closer together if your TV stand isn’t wide enough. It’s a small thing, but it might save you from buying a new entertainment center. Gaming has been excellent. I’ve used it with consoles and with my RTX 5070 Ti laptop. Running 4K at 144Hz over HDMI 2.1 works without any issues. Input lag feels low, everything is responsive, and games look fantastic. Just make sure you’re using a proper HDMI 2.1 cable if you want to take advantage of 4K 144Hz and Variable Refresh Rate. An older cable can hold you back and keep you from getting the full benefit of what the TV can do. The TV supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and AMD FreeSync Premium. ALLM automatically switches the TV into Game Mode when you launch a game, and FreeSync helps eliminate screen tearing by syncing the TV’s refresh rate with your console or PC. Everything just works the way it should. Motion handling is probably my biggest complaint. Out of the box, fast-moving content can look a little rough. Motion Clarity wasn’t doing it for me and tended to create that weird soap opera effect. After some experimenting, I found that turning Motion Clarity off and adding a little Judder Reduction in Filmmaker Mode gave me the best results. Sports look much better that way. If you don’t want to mess with settings, Sports Mode actually works pretty well too. The smart TV side of things is fine, but like most smart TVs, the processor is just adequate. It’ll get you where you need to go, but don’t expect lightning-fast menus. Apps can occasionally feel sluggish. Honestly, that’s been my experience with most smart TVs. I also wasn’t a huge fan of being pushed into using an Amazon account. If you want access to more than a few basic apps, you’ll need to sign in. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s annoying enough that I’d still recommend a dedicated streaming box if you want the smoothest experience possible. Viewing angles are decent, but not amazing. Straight on, the picture looks fantastic. Move too far off to the side and you’ll start to lose some contrast and color. That’s pretty normal for this type of panel, but it’s worth mentioning. The built-in speakers are okay. They’ll get the job done, but if you care about sound quality at all, a soundbar is still worth the investment. Overall, I think Hisense knocked it out of the park with this one. The picture quality is excellent, gaming performance is great, the matte screen is genuinely useful, and the flexible stand options are a nice bonus. It isn’t perfect, but for the money it’s one of the easiest TVs I’ve recommended in a long time. Pros * Excellent picture quality * Mini-LED and local dimming provide great contrast * Matte screen cuts down reflections * HDMI 2.1 with 4K 144Hz support * VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium * Great gaming performance * Flexible stand placement options * Sports Mode works well * Excellent value for the money Cons * Motion settings need tweaking out of the box * Some blooming in dark scenes * Smart TV processor can feel slow * Amazon account required for full Fire TV functionality * Viewing angles could be better * Built-in speakers are average

I have to say that the tv came very well secured! It was easy to remove from the box, even though it’s a larger tv. They made it easy by being able to lift it up out of the box. The two of us were able to pick it up out of the box because it felt safer rather than just one person doing it. It was tricky trying to put the two legs on while the tv was lying on top of the rug. So placing it standing on the table with the edge hanging off the table, while one of us held the tv and the other screwed the stands was the way to go for u.. That worked great and was really quick to put the legs on. After turning it on, you can use it right away by using the live tv feature or any of the apps. You log into the apps like Netflix, HBO, YouTube, etc. Creating or logging to your Amazon account. Once it’s connected, it’s easier to access the apps you’re using and you can use the talk button on the remote. This lets you talk to Alexa about playing or searching for shows, movies, creating AI art and many other things you can do. I realized that you can also talk to Alexa on the remote to control other things too that the regular Alexa is used for. We found this out by mistake but it turned on/off our fan and lights. And it works the other way too. We at times use the regular Alexa to get turn off the tv or play a certain thing on the tv. The sound and pictures are great, whether watching the tv, playing tv games or video games. On the of the regular connections that you would expect, this has HDMI and USB connections. A nice plus is that you can put your pictures on the screen and change the screen saver. Really important, especially with younger children, is the parental control features. It’s a great TV and I would definitely recommend it.

The Hisense 65” Class U6 Series ULED MiniLED 4K Fire TV is my first experience with not only Hisense but also MiniLED TV’s other than seeing them in the store. As a matter of fact when we moved into our new house a couple of years ago, I went out searching for a new TV and was looking hard at the MiniLED TV’s because the picture looked really good. Ultimately, I ended up going with a 77” OLED TV for our Living room. That leads us into the next TV replacement in the Master bedroom. I was very excited to get this ULED/MiniLED Hisense because I would finally be able to experience the new technology. I was still using a 55” 1080P TV for our Master Bedroom. I was able to just switch them out on the wall mount and wow, what a difference. I am very impressed with the U6. With the MINI LED’s, this TV has great local dimming and produces some nice-looking blacks. Not only do the colors really pop and the brightness on the U6 is awesome. I remember paying $2500 for my first 55” flat screen years ago and it is amazing what you can get these days for so much less. I have been wanting to try a Hisense TV for a long time now and I am glad that I got the 65” U6 for our master bedroom TV. It has a high refresh rate at 144hz and works great for games coming off my Gaming Laptop with an RTX 4070 GPU, which look stunning on this U6, which also includes AMD FreeSync Premium, which is something I thought only gaming monitors had. Another plus for me and anyone else who has Amazon Prime is that the Hisense U6 is a Fire TV with Alexa voice control. It is also awesome to be able to download and use apps on the TV to customize it to my liking. The next feature new to me is the use of AI for the 4K upscaler which I have to say works pretty well. However, I am not to sure yet how I feel about it automatically adjusting the picture to my room's lighting because I want to keep it at the brightness level I like so I will not be using that feature. I will be using a soundbar for sound; however the TV speakers work pretty well and definitely put out enough sound if you do not have one. This TV does include Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision as well, so it would sound great with a complete surround sound system along with the HDR and Dolby Vision features, creating a great watching experience. I am very impressed with what Hisense gives you for the money. To the point that I do not feel like I could be missing out on to much by buying a much more expensive MiniLED TV. This TV has all of the features and all of the connection ports you need to get the best experience out of it no matter what you are using it for. HiSense has made a very competitive range of TV’s and I would not hesitate to recommend the U6 or one of their other U series TVs on the market today!

The Hisense 65" U6 ULED mini-LED 4k TV is absolutely stunning! The 1000 mini-LED's make the picture look so realistic, and the full array dimming gives you brighter highlights and deeper shadows. At just under 40lbs and only 2.6" deep, it mounted easily over my fireplace/mantel using a standard 400x300 (M6) Vesa pattern wall mount bracket. It has an anti-reflective layer/matte-finish screen for reduced reflectivity and virtually no glare. This is great for well-lit rooms, or for those times when you just have to turn on an overhead light. The built-in Wifi 6 connected easily to my network and maintains a strong connection whether I'm gaming or streaming. With (4) HDMI ports - (2) 2.1 HDMI (#1 is eARC), (2) 2.0 HDMI - (2) USB ports, LAN, Ant/Cable, and digital audio, there's no shortage of ways to connect your accessories. I have mine hooked up to a soundbar system, but the built-in Dolby Vision Atmos with 40 watts of power and internal subwoofer does a fantastic job on its own creating a theatre-like experience you can really hear, feel, and see! It comes with Google TV Chromecast and with the built in Alexa + (free with Prime), you can have conversations and ask questions of your TV. It also assists you in finding shows, makes recommendations, and can even control your smart Home via Fire TV. Created especially for sports enthusiasts and gamers, the U6 Series allows you to see all of the billion shade of colors.. The High View AI Engine processes the picture to increase the quality no matter what you're watching. With 144hz refresh rate, you're 20% faster than other 120hz TV's. I watched Indy and Nascar races, NBA Basketball, MLS Soccer, and NHL Hockey and the display kept up great with the speed of the sport. It did a great job with gaming as well and made me really feel like I was part of the action. It reacted well to movement with no lag or pixelation, and provided a great experience. What an incredible product - stunning to look at and even more so to watch!

Unboxing and setup went fine - make sure you have at least 2 people. There's no way I could have done everything by myself with the 65" - it is too heavy and awkward. Once you get it setup and turned on, prepare for at least 10 minutes of downtime while it updates. There's no progress bar or anything, so all you can do is just wait until it reboots. This is our first Fire TV, so navigation is new for us but nothing super complicated. Each input can have a Picture mode tied to it - in our case currently only needing to use 2 (of the 4). The 'main' is running in Movie mode and is a little brighter than standard, as it is mainly used for watching movies. The other input (4 I believe), is hooked up to the XBox Series X and is running in Gaming mode. There have been zero issues in regard to running games like Fortnite or Marvel Rivals - no tearing or artifacts or anything. Blacks seem really deep to me, and colors vibrant. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch a live NFL game on it as of yet, but a pre-recorded one from Prime looked great. The sound seems more than serviceable. I am used to hearing everything through a soundbar plus speakers, and you can tell the difference (it does come-off more 'throaty' for lack of a better way to put it), but still pretty good, including voices and bass to some level (you won't shake the house...). There are two options for free-standing (instead of mounting) the set. We choose the inner option, only to keep the legs from the edges. Seems stable enough, my only gripe being that the legs don't click in or anything, so be ready with a screwdriver to install the included screws.

I will say that I have owned one other Hisense TV in my life, and I didn’t have the greatest experience with it, or the customer service. I am always willing to give second chances, so I thought I would give this one a try. I needed a new 65” for my man cave that would be good for streaming and gaming and this one seemed to fit the bill. It came very well packaged, and was very easy to remove from the box, get the stand put on, and I was up and running in probably less than 15 minutes from when I opened the box. This TV is a LED 4K TV with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG. It has the Fire TV operating system, so you will need to set it up with your Amazon account to get all of the features. It has a total of 4 HDMI inputs 2 HDMI 2.1, and 2 HDMI 2.0 and also has eARC for easily connecting to a sound bar. After getting it all set up, I was able to get into the settings to get this TV looking as good as possible. I have it in a fairly dark room, so I didn’t need a really bright TV, but I think this would work just fine in a brighter room because it does get pretty bright. There are a lot of AI and different settings to tweak the motion and things that are on all TV’s, but I have always found that you get the best picture by turning most of those off, which is the case with this TV as well. For the color profile, I always use the Filmmaker Mode if its available, and this TV has that as well. Once I got it dialed in, I went through various sources like antenna TV, streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as my own home movie server where I have a lot of 4K content as well. I have to say that everything looked good. Granted this is a QLED TV, so you aren’t going to get the same colors and black levels as you would with a OLED. But I think at the price point this TV is at, you get a very good picture quality. Where this TV really shines is in gaming. When I hooked up my Switch 2 and my PS5 things looked amazing. If you are a gamer, I can guarantee you’ll love this TV. It has the 144Hz refresh rate and a special gaming mode that really makes games pop! The colors are nice and vibrant, you don’t have the true black, but it gets pretty close in the gaming mode. Other things to note are the sound. I will say, you will probably want to hook this up to a separate sound bar. The sound is OK, but on par with most other TV’s in this price point. It does come with a pretty basic remote, but it does offer voice control as well so you can just say “Alexa, turn up the volume”, or “Alexa Open Netflix” and it will do things like that as well. Also, as I said before, this is a Fire TV so in order to get the most out of it you will need an Amazon account, and even better an Amazon Prime account. If you don’t have or want one of those, you’ll definitely want to choose a different TV. Overall, this seems like a good TV, that is great for gaming. You get a great picture for the price point that its at. I just hope that it will last longer than my previous Hisense TV did. It died a month after the 1 year warranty expired and I really had to fight with their customer service to get it fixed. So, only time will tell if this one will last longer. I hope it does, cause it seems like a pretty good TV!

The Hisense 65" Class U6 Series ULED MiniLED 4K Fire TV looks and sounds great. First, I connected my Wifi to the TV. I then connected the Fire TV to my Amazon account. Once connected with my Amazon account, I was able to install the apps I had previously installed on my older Fire devices. By opening up device and software, I was able to initiate Developer Options. Developer Options allow the installation of third party apps not in the Goggle Play store. ADB and USB debugging become active over the network. The picture is in sharp detail. All of the colors are vibrant with no bleeding edges. The volume is more than loud for a living room, only half of the volume is needed to fill a decent size family room. The storage is extremely large and will hold dozens of apps to program your TV with your favorite entertainment. The remote command functions quickly, moving in and out of apps or watching DTV. I like the Hisense 65" Class U6 Series ULED MiniLED 4K Fire TV and find no problems with it.
