Pros: Nice TV, has all the lastest tech and design. Clear picture. Good upscaling. Good black levels, very little to no blooming. Good shadow detail. Cons: a bit buggy at first. Delay when first turning on. Motion not the best.

This TV is stunning.. especially at the price point it’s at. If you can get it on sale even better. The only thing I would ding is the Google TV menus. They are pretty awful but I pair it with an Apple TV, so I don’t need to use those menus. If I did I might have needed to take off a star because to the non tech savvy person.. good luck navigating those menus lol.
There are a ton of automated features. If you’re into that stuff then great but you have the option to turn them off (which is what I did). I’ve always been an LG and Samsung buyer but taking a chance on this one (paired it with a 5 year warranty).
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Just need to try gaming on it.

I pulled the trigger on it after watching a bunch of reviews and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s got amazing picture quality and contrast. The speakers are decent enough for me to rethink if I want to spend money on a soundbar.
Ofcourse this tv is not perfect. I keep encountering a bunch of minor software glitches here and there but nothing so far that would make me regret buying this over an LG C3 or s90C. This tv does not even compare to the OLED screens but I feel like the quality increase does not justify twice the price tag on those. I’m glad I saved that money and went for the Hisense instead. Would repeat the decision any day.

This is now my second Hisense TV I've purchased. I was so impressed with the U6GR for the pricepoint that I decided to try out Hisense's "higher-end" offering. Straight out of the box the TV was easy to setup using the Google Home app on my phone. After setup, I noticed the colors out of the box seemed to be close to accurate with zero calibration. I have yet to have a TV that has this level of accuracy out of the box. It's definitely not perfect (no TV is out of the box), but it's not far off. The speakers are impressive and I would see no reason for a soundbar unless you are looking for that "room shaking rumble" that a true subwoofer could create. For the price, I'm more than satisfied and if this TV proves to be reliable like my previous Hisense I will continue to purchase Hisense TVs.

It's really hard to find fault with this TV. Spent many hours going back and forth between this and the LG C3. What ended up being the deciding factor was the price difference. The Hisense picture and screen quality is not 100% as good as the LG OLED. But its at least 90% as good. And considering it was almost half the price I couldn't justify the LG.
The picture is crisp, the blacks are excellent, the software is responsive. You really need to see both in person to see for yourself.
Also my TV is in quite a bright room during the day so the extra brightness over the OLED is quite nice.

I have had this TV for a year and 1/2 and it has done everything I needed in a TV. No issues with blooming, picture quality is amazing. Use it for gaming, movie or just casual youtube watching and I can watch it all on this TV. Simple connections for ease of use with any console I chose to game on

Great TV. Picture quality is good. Refresh rate is nice for sports. User interface for the home page is easy to navigate and add apps you need. Start up is quick and had no issues with it lagging or crashing. Wish the remote was backlit so I could see buttons in the dark. I purchased the Hisense surround sound system with the TV, which in hindsight I wouldn’t do again. I reviewed that separately. Overall, amazing TV for the price and an upgrade over our older TCL.

Excellent TV with a very bright colorful screen. HDR performance is top notch. The built in sound is great to the point you don't even need a sound bar with it other than for surround sound or heavy bass.
The only negative is that the TV is slow to respond to remote control inputs.
Of note, it's heavy where it has the full mini LED backlighting.

My living room is hardly gets any sunlight so this tv is exactly what I needed. The color is perfect and I love the sound from the speakers, the bass is great. I was leaning into purchasing a name brand tv but after reading the reviews and watching videos on the Hisense I decided to purchase the Hisense. I have no regrets with choosing the Hisense at all. Time will tell on the longevity of this brand.

The motion enhancement is way too strong to be of much use. On stock settings it ends up being so strong that you can literally see the black bars inserted during fast camera pans while streaming hd content. Once I dialed down the settings to setting everything off, jitter 0-2 and blurriness 0-1 depending on what we're watching, it became much better. The presets are decent but again, motion is too strong in all of them. The one for sports is pretty good though. Make it so we can create custom profiles and save them. The subwoofer makes the audio actually pretty good, and I usually run sound through my stereo system so that's a real compliment. Nice and wide viewing angle. As far as brightness, this thing gets insanely bright. No problem seeing it in very bright rooms.

I recently Purchased the Hisense U8K, 65 inch model--after doing a month of exhaustive research on virtually every model made.. Leaning new terms and things to look for in terms of picture quality, gaming features. Endless hours were spent watching YouTube reviews and getting a feel for each channel/reviewer, what they looked for--comparisons with the QM8 and Sony--OLED in general!
A few weeks later... with the TV being set up and tweaked to my liking--I am blown away! Even better than I expected. That rare experience where I got more than I expected. This TV is super-bright, super clear and sharp, amazing colors--vibrant--and is outstanding for gaming on Series X and PS5.
If you are "doing the research," I'm telling you--it's great. Buy it. You will not be disappointed!

I was hesitant at first to buy a new beand. I am used to Sony Bravia, Samsung, LG. This time I looked at reviewes and prices everywhere: amazon, best buy, etc.
Tons of great reviews. However, I was not going to buy it before I see it side by side with the Sony Bravia. Lo and behold, same picture quality and clarity with darkest darks and brightest colors I have seen. I took a friend with me to make sure I wasn't crazy and trying to convince my self with it... he loved it and preferred it over the Bravia.
I right away bought it. Now I watch all my shows on it, sports, even game on it... a perfect tv for everything and the sounds is great too! no need for an additional sound system or bar.
Just buy it! I bought the 65" and even when I sit 9-11 feet away from it, it is still super crisp and smooth everything (no poxelation, no artifqcts). A bonus is that it comes with google tv, youtube has never been clearer (almost always at 4k). A ton of settings and tuningare available too. What a great TV

Excellent 4K TV with a high 144Hz refresh rate on two inputs. Colors are bright, Image quality is very detailed and crisp. I do not use the Google TV aspects but everything else is great. I also use it as a PC Monitor for big screen gaming occasionally and games (FPS & RPGs) look fantastic as well. Sound volume can easily fill a room at LvL 18 of 100 and is pleasing to listen to.

Great tv, was going to buy a sony x93l that was $1600. But someone convinced me to buy this and I have to say that thank goodness. This tv is as good or even better than the sony. Sony tv is over priced because of there rep and "sony tax". Never heard of hisense before and but I took a gamble and this tv is really great. It is also very bright as well.

Excellent tv so far, super responsive UI with a pretty good layout, not overwhelmed with random apps I’ll never use. The picture quality is amazing, you barely need to fiddle with the presets to make them just right. It’s great for gaming on too.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better TV for the money. Performs close to much more expensive mini-LED models from big name manufactures (e.g, Sony, Samsung, LG), but at substantially lower price. OLED TVs offer improved picture quality over this TV, but the incremental cost for that marginally improved picture is huge.
Would buy again.

Bought the TV on sale for a good price. I was thinking about LG, Sony & Samsung TVs. In the store i saw this TV and it looked as good. So far, so good . Great for gaming and OTA channels. Comes with a 2 year warranty, that gave me a little piece of mind. I can recommend this TV.
