Incredible TV! I came for a Sony 75" x900f, the panel went out and it left me scrambling down the rabbit hole of researching the new 2022 TVs that are coming outm I wanted to stick with Sony because that was what I was comfortable with but when I saw all the reviews start to come out for this tv I couldn't pass up the chance to give it a try. Took the day off work, Drove 4 hours to pick this up at the only location near me that she 1, payed $20 in tolls, $40 in gas. I can comepletly say without a doubt it was worth it all. The features you get for the price point is incredible, the brightness and antiglare screen were a most as my tv sits across from a giant bay window, I have room darkening curtains but my gf likes to have them cracked for some light, I hardly notice the reflection on the picture with this one. Dolby vision IQ, HDR10+, Imax enhanced, eARC, HDMI 2.1 for gaming systems, 120HZ panel. side note I use an external sound system but the built tv speakers can get ridiculously loud. I had to stop at 50% in fear or upsetting my neighbors. Just crazy, not as clear as external speaker setup but if you just need the volume levels have no fear they deliver in spades. The android os is snappy to, remote is backlight and has 6 quick access buttons, which I never liked till now. My shield remote only has Netflix which I use but not a whole like, having buttons to bounce between the other 5 services is nice and I use it alot. Pictures from my phone don't do it justice. Oh if your on the fence between 55 and 65 do the 65 if you can I think it's double the local dimming zones that will impact the picture quality. I haven't gamed on it yet but will update when I do. So far I have had 3 solids days of streaming and 4k disc and each one is incredible. You will have to tweak the profiles to your liking.

Had this tv for 4 days its beyond impressive instead of writing a long review. Ill say this i returned my LG CX it was too dim . This tv is super brights colors make your eyes bleed. Black levels look almost on Oled level. If someone told me this tv was a oled i would believe it at first glance. Its advertising 1500 nits of hdr it hits higher than that. The speakers are very loud. It looks and feels like a premium set with the gun metal tv stand and chrome accent bezels. It has all the gaming features and other than what a few have claimed ZERO GHOSTING. I havent seem any. This tv for 1299 beats tvs like sony A90j LG CX and the Samsung Q90a. Last year hisense punched above its weight with the H9G this year its the big dog. The built in microphone the remote that has a backlight these are features only in the sony A90J a 3,000 dollar tv. Highly recommend 10/10 only concern i have is the hisense brand . Yet i love the tv so much i bought the 5 year protection warranty. Oh it has dolby vision too and its unreal. I recommend puttiny ur backlight at 100 then your local dimming on high and your active contrast on high and temp on mid low and boom. A tv that embarrassed the big 3.

I was able to place a delivery order over the phone with a sales rep before this tv became available for online ordering. Upon checking the order status the following day, I noticed the price dropped to $1150 so I called, canceled the first order and was able to snag the tv for $150 off! This tv is massive, crazy bright and the local dimming really helps the colors pop on the screen. We just got a series X Xbox so we'll be testing out the gaming performance as well. So far local dimming, 120hz refresh rate, and HDR game mode with VRR are all working, but we've only played Tetris Effects (which look incredible on this tv). Android UX and UI seem fine so far, never had an android OS tv before. The google assistant voice commands are also pretty impressive and accurate as we don't normally use any voice commands with any electronics. Overall, so incredibly excited to have gotten such a large and luxurious tv for such a fantastic price!

All the bells and whistles with a fantastic image from front viewing angle, however the 120hertz mode has a sort minor black ghosting issue, however it’s extremely subtle, may not even notice it if you don’t know what to look for. Dolby vision can occasionally hiccups mid streaming on an app like Netflix (it’ll cut to black for a second and return, sometimes more than once in quick succession) though it hasn’t done that for over a year now so maybe an update sorted it out. 4k 60hertz has absolutely no issues. Do keep in mind the 65 inch differs from the lower inch models in spec. The only other complaint I have is that I noticed dirty screen effect after some time. It’s not visible unless looking at a solid color like light grey. I understand though that any tv can suffer from this. TV menu is extremely useful, however I rely on my PS5 for all my app needs now for the audio benefits. TV handles Dolby and DTS fine.

I received a new 65" U8 Series Quantum Hisense at a discount for reviewing and summitting my opinion. So, I've had the 65" U8 Series Quantum Hisense for about a week now, and all I have to say is WOW! This TV has an absolutely stunning picture. You can see the sweat beading up on players during games and individual hairs on animals on nature videos! The clarity, contrast, and colors are about the best I've seen below a 2 thousand dollar price tag; Creating huge value for the $1299 price point. The U8 Series Quantum Hisense also easily integrates with the newest game system consoles, supporting the highest settings. The integrated speakers sound traffic and are quite loud, I have no problem hearing at 1/10 volume from over 20 ft away. The video streaming and various Apps work are very easy to set-up or to sign into the pre-loaded ones, and they work flawlessly. I highly recommend this TV for anyone, you will be blown away!

There's a ton of reviews raving about the picture quality of this tv. I mostly agree with them, so I'm not going to add to the sea of comments. This review is going to be a bit of nit picking on some aspects most reviews either don't mention or don't describe well. Power cord: This was one of the first things I noticed because it's pretty short for this size of tv. It is impossible to neatly cable manage it unless the outlet is right next to the tv. In my case, it plugs into the right side of the tv, and much of the length is used just to get it back to the center if you plan to run it along a wall mount arm. Screen/frame design: the screen sits partly outside the frame, leaving a small gap around the edge of the tv between the two. This caused a fair bit of concern at first because the BB employee let the tv fall off the cart when bringing it to our van. When I opened the box, I thought maybe the screen had been shifted/damaged from the fall when I saw the gap. After a thorough inspection, I could tell the frame ran behind the screen itself, and the tv thankfully works great. Certainly not a great design choice and may have been a deal breaker if I noticed ahead of time. There were no demo units nearby, and the photos don't show this (until I uploaded mine). Cable management: I love that the tv has a built in cable management channel, but larger plugs will not be able to pass through if you also have a sound bar mounted to the VESA mount. Because it's not feasible to run the cables before mounting the sound bar, this channel should be 1/4" wider at least. One of my HDMI cables had to be ran partly outside of the channel for this reason. Standby power: This tv seems to draw a relatively substantial amount of standby power. I have a smart power strip that turns several outlets on and off based on the power draw in the control outlet. That means when I turn the tv on, it activates outlets for the sound bar and consoles. When I turn the tv off, the other devices are disabled as well to reduce parasitic power consumption. When I turn this tv off, it's still drawing enough power to keep the other outlets active, and thus their parasitic draws. The manual mentions a couple of settings that can increase standby power consumption, but disabling them doesn't help, and there's no way to fully turn off the tv that I've found (short of unplugging it, of course). Off angle viewing: This one was of of the pleasant surprises. All the reviews say off angle viewing is poor because it's a VA panel. Yes, the image quality does get reduced, but it's by no means bad unless you are at the very extremes. For the vast majority of viewing, image quality is very acceptable. Microphone switch: I love the option of a hardware switch for the tv's microphone, but turning it off causes 4 bright yellow LED's to turn on at the bottom of the tv. These will not time out and stay on until you turn the switch back on. When you turn it on, the lights turn white, but time out shortly and turn off. So it's either leave the microphone on, or cover the lights if you don't want to see them. Power button location: The power button is on the underside of the tv. If you mount a sound bar under it, putting the bar flush with the tv blocks the power button. We had to lower our bar about an inch to have access, which isn't as aesthetically pleasing. Overall, it really is a great tv like others are saying, but it's just these small things that annoy me. Changes like a wider cable channel and longer power cable would be cheap changes that make a big difference in usability. The microphone off lights is just absurd unless they were trying to making you keep it on to listen in. I would personally rather have a bezel around the edges, not only for screen protection, but to have something to grip for moving on my mount. This is my first Hisense tv, and it is a massive upgrade over my last one. I know they are seen as a budget brand, but I would expect more from a company that looks to be giving the big name brands a run for their money.

I bought this tv purely on reviews from rtings.com and across the internet. Never once seeing it in person. I’ll admit I was very nervous about this purchase. Never really heard of Hisense in the TV genre as being high end. Was skeptical especially since I don’t ever blindly purchase things. I spent close to two months researching this. I own a 55 inch Lg OLED and have been spoiled by its picture and quality and debated getting a 65 inch for my refinished basement but I was struggling justifying the cost so that lead me to this 65 inch beauty. The picture is absolutely phenomenal and all my doubts and fears have been erased just after a few days use. Xbox series x runs beautifully on this and it is built for next gen gaming. Sound quality is pretty dang good too for stock speakers. I still plan on buying a sound bar and subwoofer but honestly this is some of the better sounding stock speakers on a tv I’ve experienced. Don’t hesitate to try this brand and series model out. This is a great value ( I got it on sale for 999.99 )

Nice product and quality of the screen is good too. Could be improved in terms of the remote as it still uses a legacy styles. It should use something like magic remotes of LG where navigating on screen will be easier rather than clicking so many times to reach the spot you want. Also the voice commands are poor which need to be improved. Sojnd wuality is not that great so you might need a external sound bar for better sound quality.

I bought this tv for Christmas and I love it! I’ve had and seen other tv’s that were in the same price range and I was not disappointed in this one! It gets very bright and the blacks are soo good very close to OLED. I’ve had it for over a month now and it hasn’t given me any issues! And it’s also great for gaming on my PS5!

I received my Hisense 65" U8G TV yesterday. I was impressed with the lack of bezels, anti-glare screen, impressive brightness and OLED-like black levels. I'm not sure how you can get a better new TV in this size for the money.

Really satisfied with the TV at first I was iffy because of some of the color changing and it seems to lack for like real dark shadows and dark colors I use it for a gaming TV hooked up to my Xbox series X at first I was trying to compare it to the LG B8 OLED be eight which on and there’s two totally different TVs but for the price the size you can’t beat it does really well in a lit up room and in brighter colors

GREAT TV from hisense!!! My first experience with the brand but they knocked it out of the park!! 4 hdmi inputs, 1 A/v composite (able to play my sega saturn), ethernet, wireless, bluetooth, google... all things I was lookin for. Our living room has 6 windows and on our old vizio a annoying glare was always present. The glares are gone with the new hisense, way more enjoyable (still there with tv off but brightness of tv overpowers glares). Picture quality (to me) is epic... depends on the quality of programing you have coming in, my pic is of PBS antenna channel. It Seems older programming is slightly upscaled and very tastefully. Google play store on the TV supplies loads of apps which launch fast and browsing the menus are a breeze. Bluetooth Remote is responsive and no annoying load clicks when pressing buttons, only a subtle "feel" which allows user feedback that button was pressed. TV feels stable on full motion articulation wall mount. Speakers sound very good for TV speakers which usually sound tinny and cheap... you can hear bass in these. Best buy crew in charleston WV was top notch!! They quickly brought out and loaded TV in suv and was very friendly. 2 weeks after purchase best buy priced matched sale price from online retailer. Overall a great buy!! Great TV!!! Great experience!!! I would def buy again and recommend to a friend.

This tv is so bright I mainly use two picture modes Energy Saving or Filmmaker Mode with some settings changed to my liking. Dish is a hit and miss when it comes to HD & 4K content so it's not the tv. For me this tv really shines when watching Amazon Prime or Netflix also Youtube 4K content. Gaming on a PS5 console Call of Duty Modern Warfare is loads of fun in HDR at 120HZ!!! Not all games support 120HZ so it will then play at 60HZ. Tv stand is nice a sturdy & tv looks great to boot. This tv offers a lot of apps like my favorite Kodi. Best bang for the buck. Peace out!

All I can say is wow! This is my first big tv purchase. I wanted a tv to pair with my PS5 and when I first saw the Oled tv I was considering it but didn't like the brightness or the risk of burn in. This tv puts all those concerns to rest while providing a exceptional picture with a great price. I was blown away by the level of details in games I previously played on my TCL 4 series and PC monitor. I immediately recognized the difference in picture quality. I highly recommend this television and the only thing I noticed was the back light bleed on off angle in the lower left corner when I first plugged it in but that went away after the first update. I wonder how awesome will the U9DG be and wish this came in 75 inches although the 65 is great.

After 6 years my first 4K tv went the way for the Dodo. Instead of sticking with Sony I decided to go a different route. Based on nothing but positive reviews I decided to buy the 65 inch U8G. I will have to say those reviews are legit. This tv is very nice. And for the price you get a really good deal. The picture is really nice and the sound is nice too. I will say that if you decide to put it on a table top make sure you get a wide enough stand because the feet are huge. They also happen to stand out as well. Very nice. If you want a tv with all the bells and whistles at good price get this tv. Don't let the brand deter you from buying it.
