Great Hardware Spoilt by crappy software

Feels close to OLED some times. The software on the other hand is super bad. The entire experience is hampered due to the buggy software. Apps show incompatibility, crashing, aiplay hangs, audio issues with soundbar. You name it, the software gives you those issues. Long way to go on the software side.

Still trying to figure out if it is cable provider (doubtful, other TV's fine) or this TV. I'm finding blog entries of issues dated from last year. If so, we purchased in May and still a problem?!! Too late to return according to my receipt.

HiSense's interpretation of its 2-year warranty is insane. I attached an antenna by coaxial cable when I got the unit, and it worked fine. Recently, reception was not as good as it had been, and I checked to be sure the connections were tight. I found that the coaxial connector was loose from inside the TV. HiSense (Joe) said although it is only 8 months since I received the TV, "because it is more than one month and it does not work, it is considered damage under the warranty. Therefore, there is nothing that can be done under the warranty." I repeatedly said "It is not damage." "The most logical explanation is that the coaxial connector was not installed securely enough, and it loosened over time from vibration." It has been sitting in one place since I installed it.
