The Hisense 65" U8H is a fantastic television. Set up was a breeze. I had a fire stick that I attached to the television. The . Hisense remote controlled all the functions of the fire stick. The picture is high quality. I want to get my best Bang for my buck Without having to spend up to $2000. All the reviews that I read made me choose this television and I am very happy that I Did.

Normally when looking for a higher end TV, I wouldn't ever look for anything other than Samsung, LG, and Sony. I stumbled across some reviews raving about this TV and had my doubts, but I was blown away when seeing it in person. Very bright accurate and vibrant colors, inky blacks, very little light bleed, HDMI 2.1, 120 Hz, VRR, and all the Dolbys. It ticked all the boxes. Hisense was not playing around with this one, It is easily comparable to TVs from the big three that cost twice as much. Especially when caught on sale. I only have a few very minor complaints about it. The remote is pretty basic and only lights up when a button is pressed. The settings menu cover almost half the screen, making it annoying when trying to dial in the settings. And the ethernet port is only 100 Mbps, which seems to be a common cost saving practice these days. Though I suppose they make up for it with WiFi 6e support.

Good surprise with that Hisense ULED U8 TV, 120Hz refresh rate, vivid color, and the google software is quick, apps are loading in not time. For the price would definitely recommend. Not too familiar with Hisense so cannot talk about the warranty.

I've had the Hisense 65" U8H TV for a year now. The picture is great in both a light and dark room. We have not had any issues with image quality watching the screen from the side (edge seat of a 5 wide couch) No HDMI connectivity issues. - Xbox series x connected with high speed HDMI. Console can use 120hz and 4k settings as expected. Looks great. - EARC connected to an Onkyo receiver works with no issues. Only con I have is that occasionally (about 5 times in 12 months) the TV gets frozen when navigating apps etc and restarts itself. Sometimes when I turn the TV on, after it's been off for hours, its like it does a proper restart (and not just being instant-on). But it starts up pretty quickly anyway so it's not a major gripe. Overall the UH8 Hisense TV has been great I have actually purchased another Hisense TV (85U7K) for a larger room. Again it came top of the bang for your buck range!

Beautiful picture. Its a very bright TV so is great in rooms with windows. I use standard mode during the day and theater night mode in the evenings. I love the google interface on the TV. Its very similar to Fire TV if you have a fire stick. I blue toothed sound to my sound bar. I can control the sound volume and turn the tv off/on with Alexa voice commands.

    2022 TV of The Year

Many reviewers gave this TV their nod for TV of the year in 2022. I picked one up at the beginning of 2023 and after a horrible looking out of the box experience/image, I tweaked a few things and Baaaaam!! It looks almost as good as my OLED! *Fair Warning* You will need to calibrate this TV to see its amazing potential. Further, the backlight-brightness will need changing depending on the app-content to ensure proper black levels and peak luminosity. If you don't mind doing those things to get an extraordinary picture for your money, this is the TV for you. If you want an amazing out of the box experience, I'd look elsewhere. Lastly, I have a full blown home theater hooked up to this and I must say, I only use it when I really want to immerse myself in surround sound. The speakers and built in subwofer on this TV will blow you away!

The TV itself looks fantastic. The one note I will say after kind of ignoring the review warnings... When they say it errors on the side of being BRIGHT they mean it. Don't take that to mean that the blacks turn out to be gray but just that the TV is just overall outputting a BRIGHT image.

I’ve never heard of this brand TV before reading about it in the New York Times wire cutter. I wanted to replace a smaller older Samsung TV. The picture is great, the sound is awesome and they control based on Google is easy to navigate. This is a TV you really should check out.

Amazingly bright. This TV has no problem showing off HDR format. And the darks are as good as most high-end TVs. Colors are rich and vibrate like any 4K TV out there. I also bought Xbox Series S and it's a great gaming TV.

way better than the tcl QM8 that tv cant compete even though they copied off of the hisense tvs with the subwoofer and the settings menu and the refresh rate but its still not better than the u8k the u8k has way better picture quality and the refresh rate is way way smoother.

I recently upgraded to this TV, and I couldn’t be more impressed—especially with the picture quality. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the clarity, color accuracy, and contrast. Whether you’re watching a 4K movie or streaming HD content, every scene feels immersive and lifelike.

Bought a U8G 65" in 21. It was Ok but not what I thought it should be. Then I bought the U8H 65" and was so awesome to watch with the backlight mini Led. Works so well with my Xbox gaming console. I can't recommend it any more than It is 5 Stars in my book. So glad I didn't buy something else.

Great product, great HDR for gaming as well, especially with my PS5, has great picture quality and the Google TV OS is pretty good, although there are issues with casting to the TV for a specific app called Kocowa (should be app related, not TV related), everything else works great!

Amazing tv for the price. Sure it may not be a oled but it comes very close at a very affordable price point. Have solid blacks and whites are very bright. Overall im very happy with this tv especially since the other big brands don't come close at this price.

So the 65” U8H was purchased following the return of a 55” OLED TV. The TV’s were placed about 8-10 feet from viewing distance and for the same price, I was able to get a considerably better viewing experience with the 65” in our bedroom. Not sure why OLED is so highly recommended and so expensive. I couldn’t see any difference between the 2 sets and couldn’t find a reason to justify spending a minimum of $700 for a similar sized screen. With the blinds open, The Hisense U8H gets plenty bright at 50%. For night time viewing, it is wise to use auto bright feature because tv can be too bright. Image quality with streaming services is sharp and very detailed, i dont see how it could be much better. Im coming from a 1 year old 4k tv that is not OLED or Mini LED, so this Mini LED tv is something else on a higher level. Friday night baseball on apple tv is fantastic.

My first non-low budget tv and I'm thrilled. Very bright and stands out even by our window that gets a lot of light. I love the higher refresh rate, especially for gaming, and everything we've watched has looked fantastic.

This TV is incredible for the price. It easily beats A LOT of higher-end models. Not an OLED but its dang near its picture quality. Motion is a little jittery but definitely manageable. The audio is subpar, but nothing a good soundbar can't fix. I 10/10 recommend though.

Excellent picture and good sound. Probably the worst of all the TV Operating system. Google TV OS is quite unstable and many of the Android apps don’t work. Crashes and needs to be powered off to recover. Turns itself on in the middle of the night.
