However, the smaller HiSense I have has Roku built in which provides many more free programs. On this one, you have to download Google apps and many charge $5 or more per channel (HG TV, History Channel, etc.). Also, antenna input doesn't work as good as the smaller HiSense.

We have cut the "cable cord" and use it for streaming subscriptions. Kids use it for gaming with no issues. Very easy to connect gaming devices. Sound is OK, however a sound bar with sub-woofer is great for movies.

But after only two years, the remote stops working intermittently, and the wifi will randomly disconnect. This is not a wifi issue, as no other devices have this issue.

A Short Review from a Non-TV-Snob

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've heard of "cigar snobs" and "wine snobs" but I never realized there were TV snobs until I started reading reviews while researching a new TV. Well, I guess I'm not a TV snob because why anyone would pay more than the price of this Hisense 70" is unbelievable to me. This TV is fantastic, has better sound than my old TV, and it was probably cheaper too. I've owned it for little less than a month and have no real complaints. My only annoyance is that the Google voice doesn't check to see the other apps to see if I already own it when searching for a movie. But seriously, is that a real complaint?

Get it if you want big but cheap

Avoid high glare places in your room and the TV is a good bang for your buck. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 (Samsung) poor excuse for not signing with Dolby. You will need a sound bar, I bought the JBL for $200. I also want to mention this whole setup is outside. Covered space 12x12. TV made it through the cold and heat. Once again, under $600

Also one of the HDMI ports was broken from day one so I only have two ports. If you decide to use this do not use the smart TV functions just use a game system or something with Smart TV features built into it bypass the built-in Smart TV all together.
