This is a good TV for the price, the picture quality is great. I could not get it to link up with one of my streaming apps. But I am happy with the TV. Verify before you buy that it will link up with your streaming app.

I bought this TV for a condo I just purchased. The quality, picture and sound are great, and it was easy to mount to the wall. The only negative thing is that it's advertised as being 70 inches, but after measuring it, I found that it was only 62 inches. This is misleading.

Packaging is good, easy to move, handles, etc. Once out of the box assembly is easy and the adjustable feet are a great option! The Google menu is a little weird and having to reprogram things for the buttons a pain but being able to name the ports was good for the family.

Love the picture quality on this tv. Sound is not bad. However, I had some freezing issues with tv. Also, I find tv remote somewhat bulkier for no reason. Overall I would give 3.5 starts to this tv. I am returning this one and instead getting vizio M series for around same price.

In the realm of sub-$800, 70” tv’s, this is probably one of the better ones. If I compare it to the five year old Sony Bravia I have hanging on my wall, it’s a pretty close call between the two but I believe I might still take my Sony over the Hisense. This wouldn’t be the case for everyone though. The Hisense has some very nice features that rival and top my Sony. It is newer, has a faster processor, smaller bezels and a better remote. Picture quality is probably the universal number one category for most people when it comes to rating tv’s. The Hisense has a 4K picture which, with some setting changes, looks really good. The 70” screen is an awesome size for my wall. Overall I think most people would be happy with the picture quality. The screen has a 60htz refresh rate which is the standard for small tvs and is often used in a brand’s entry level tv. I have a good eye for refresh rate and I can easily tell the difference between a slower and faster refresh rate. While I watched the Avengers, I could see a sligt “stuttering” effect whenever there was fast movement on the screen. Action movies, sports, or any other program with fast movement will show the weakness of the 60htz refresh rate. My other concern with the A6G is in darker scenes. When there is a lot of black on the screen you can see different shades of black flowing around. It isn’t horrible but I’m not used to seeing it since I don’t get that with my old tv. Again, this is probably not a deal breaker if you bought this on sale for $600-650. The features on the Hisense are awesome. It beats my old Sony easily. It comes equipped with Android TV which is very much like having a Roku or Fire Stick built into it but without the extra box or cables. Android TV gives you access to the Google Play Store where you can get tons of apps for your TV. I could not think of a streaming service or premium channel that I could not get. The TV has a pretty good processor in it. It seems to load everything just as quickly as my Roku 4K. There are also plenty of A/V inputs on it so if you have a few gaming systems, cable box, or Bluray, you’ll be in good shape. The remote is also very nice. Hisense gave a full-ish sized remote (not tiny like Apple TV) that fits well in your hand with decent, well-balanced weight to it. The remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Tubi, Disney + and peacock. These buttons will take you straight to the app from anywhere, even if the TV is off. I can’t say too much about the sound. It is just as blah as most tv’s these days. When the tv’s are as thin as they are it is tough to pack speakers in them that sound good. This tv sounds like someone taped two cell phones to the back of it. Use a soundbar. Overall the Hisense A6G is a good TV and a great value. If your TV budget is under $700 I’m not sure it can be beat.
