Horrible

Right away it had to be replaced due to technical issues thank God it was within 30 days and beat buy honored that. Then had to have a technician come out and replace the usb ports. 2022 it was already out of internal storage and because it was out of warrenty I had to purchase and replace myself the internal boards. Now 2024 the picture has gone out and its finally going in the trash where it belonged in the first place! I’ll never but a Hisense again. I guess this is why Best Buy is now trying to get rid if them for $120 thats insane!!

Tv has failed after only 3 years of use!

It is a hardware issue. The main chip has failed. The main board has to be changed and that costs $300!!! at Hisense and half that elsewhere!

Couldn’t Ask For More

I moved my 55 inch from living room to my bedroom and hung this 70 inch in its place. It is huge and for movies this is great. This was my first Best Buy purchase. They had free delivery, were on time and professional. They now have a customer for life! Great tv at a terrific price.

Fast with the internet and extremely fast with load times to apps being as it is powered by an updated android system. It has good heat dispersement vents from the back. The voice recognition works great in the remote control. Extremely bright display proving to provide glimmering rainbow colors and dark colors just as well. Amazing speaker quality. I have no idea how loud it will really get as only turning it to 16 seems as much sound as I can handle comfortably and I'm sure the neighbors can hear it. Impressive bass (for a tv), and trebles. It's too heavy so if it gets knocked with an elbow or a kid's ball it may tip over but the 2 provided stands are solid metal and support it very well. Connects with 5g internet as well as 4g and the rest. If you want a large affordable television with a long lasting company hisense has been around since 1994 so this should be your choice I recommend it

Only 3 HDMI ports, not 4!

Set up was pretty easy although it wasn't able to link with my Google account from my phone so I had to skip that step and just set it up manually. Picture quality seems good but perhaps not as good as my previous Sharp Aquos which is 11 years old. The big disappointment is that Best Buy add description says it has 4 HDMI ports but it only has three.

No more Hisense products for me

Within months of installing, the tv would freeze when switching from one app to another and I would have to unplug wall plug and plug the tv back in to get it to work again. Fast forward to spring of ‘23, my tv shut off while I was watching a show and would not turn back on. Hisense customer care determined that it was a power source issue and not under warranty. They suggested I pay a tv technician to see if they could find the problem. I’m disappointed that such an expensive purchase only lasted 2.5 years. My bedroom Samsung tv is 16+ years old and still going strong. No more Hisense products for me. I should add that when I bought the 70”, I also bought a 55” Hisense for the loft. The 55” also has the issue with freezing up. I suppose it will go out soon too.

Avoiding Android TVs, grab a FireTV instead
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to begin. As a TV, the picture is fantastic. The 4K is unreal. Thats where it ends. The TV itself is horrible. Wifi drops out consistently, many times it does not want to turn on, I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to come back on. The built in ChromeCast, barely works. When it does, its slow. I know that this isnt an issue with my internet, as I have 2 Insignia FireTVs in the house that work flawlessly. In fact, after this gave me such a headache, its what convinced me to get the 2nd FireTV. The Android specific problems I would imagine are issues with the android TV platform, and not the TV, however its awful. Voice commands barely work, if ever. The apps crash constantly and I have had to reset all my settings 3 or 4 times since I got it, because it just stops working. At one point it was stuck in Store Mode, have no idea how it even got to Store Mode, and I had to reset the entire TV to get it back. I would avoid HiSense Android TVs for the foreseeable future. They apparently have some bugs to workout.

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused. Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. Meets expectations for the price

I was willing to pay much more than the 499$ I spent on this. The showrooms are full of a lot more expensive TVs with dark screen corners (vignetting). I find that unacceptable on an expensive TV. This panel has none of that. HDR and Dolby vision content look awesome. The only question I can't find an answer to is if there are any adjustable settings for motion. Anyone? Regardless...499$ for 70 inches of great looking 4k...oh, and also wanted an Android TV with built in Bluetooth. So, yes it's a winner.

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never again….Bought it brand new and barely ever used it except for football on Sundays and sure enough, the screen randomly went black one day and has refused to power back up since. The red/power indicator lights up for half a second and then disappears. Customer support/whatever poor excuse of a warranty they have listed is a joke. Only lasted a little over a year, despite how little it was actually used.
