Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in 2020 on a Black Friday deal and I had never bought a Hisense TV before. it is now July 2023 and I have found this television to be incredibly versatile. you can't really install a lot of apps on it because it only has one gigabyte of RAM. but it's still an Android TV and whichever apps you do install on it do seem to run with relative stability. finally, the picture quality is above average and the fact that the TV has lasted without issues for so many years for me is testament to hisenses quality of product. I'm really happy with this television and I'm quite unsure what I would do if it were to spoil since I haven't seen this good a deal on a television in the market since the time i bought this television.

After 2.5 yrs of use

If apps are too many, tv can slow down and you have to delete apps. Remote died in 2.5 years. Remote buttons stop working. Considering the price, it's a good tv.

Colors are vibrant and contrast is very good. The android part is a little buggy due to low memory but you can force close background apps with one button. I ended up going with a nvidia shield pro to stream.

Do Not Purchase!!!

Tv started shutting its self off only had for 2 years and barely used. Would not recommend this brand. And sure enough my warranty has expired as soon as this problem started. $130 for diagnostic test just to tell you cant be fixed better to just purchase a new Tv.

Hisense Smart tv

I only had like 3 apps, did a factory reset. A couple weeks ago tv started going on and off, could not get it to reset again until it went completely black and it won’t turn on. Definitely a bad purchase

It has constantly made me delete apps ‘because of storage’ and it’s just overall not that great. Do not recommend. I purchased on march 17 2021 and today is may 2nd 2024.

Apps close or don't work every now and then, also, I had to replace the remote a couple years in. You're not going to be blown away by anything with this TV but if you're looking for an inexpensive, large screen, this one will work.

A fantastic 4K TV for HALF THE PRICE

Countless times. I was originally going to pull the trigger and get a Samsung instead. I won’t lie but I am a bit of a brand snob with tech! But I saw the price of this one and I just couldn’t pass it up. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous! To get a 70 inch 4K tv at the price I paid was too good to be true. Well turns out it was perfect. I was blown away by the quality of this TV. The picture is clear. The interface is fantastic. Everything synced in a breeze. I cannot back this TV enough. The size alone for the price is outstanding. If you’re debating like I was FOR MONTHS about whether to try this one out or go with one of the “high name brand” ones, pick this one. You’ll save $300 and will get the exact quality as a Samsung or LG. This is a steal.

Pleasantly surprised

I'm finding it actually rather snappy. It remains to be seen whether it will stay that way, but for now I am pleased. I have used Android TV in the past and found it a bit clunky. This iteration looks to be streamlined. The sound is strong, but a little flat, that being said I hooked it directly up to my surround sound so I had an immediate comparison. If I hadn't I may not have noticed. It's definitely got a stronger speaker then my last set which needed the surround to be herd. This set does not seem to have that problem. I find that I keep adjusting it's volume down. That's a good problem to have in my book. They picture quality is good. I'm pleased I expected medium range and that's fine for me. One of the other reviews posted that there is light bleed from the sides and this is accurate, but again admittedly something I wouldn't have noticed if I haddn't read about it first. We have been watching an old show on it the last few days what was of the air around the time HD became a thing. Needless to say it is probably a 720 broadcast at best and the upscaling works well. Not perfect but well. I'm I'm also pleased with now well it handles games. We have been playing a very fast paced racing game on it and the picture has been crisp and sharp with no lack of clarity at high racing speeds. All in all I would buy this again.
