Not as good as expected

The QLED quality is not a expected. Rather pay more for LG or Samsung next time. The optical audio was not working at all.

Second 75" U7 Hisense TV with a Dirty Display.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a former Hisense Class U7 series TV because the display developed a large green splotch that is usually identified as burn-in or a dirty display. The new Hisence also has a dirty screen which exhibit yellow splotches randomly over the entire display. It's not bad enough to replace but it does not display a uniform white screen. In addition the Google software has a glitch that when changing applications or selecting channels it blinks black, returns to normal, blinks black again and finally returns to a normal display. Annoying, but does not affect the overall performance so I'm not going to waste a Geek visit.

Screen Uniformity Issues

Still a great set for those who may not be sensitive to DSE.

Randomly Switches Apps by itself

I am in the process of trying to work with Hisense directly within 1 week of purchase. Every time we are watching an app, the tv randomly redirects to another random app on its own. This is super frustrating when you are trying to watch something. It also blinks black sometimes when switching programs or goes black where you really arent sure if it shut itself off after being idle for 15-20mins when it is set to turn off at 4hrs! Called Best Buy and was directed to Hisense. I was told to factory reset and call again. Luckily this time I caught it on video. So calling yet again tomorrow. Very disappointing for $1200.00!

Audio output won't stay on eArc and CEC is broken

Also more annoyingly every single time the TV is turned off/on the sound output will change back to the TV speakers and I need to go into the settings to change it back to HDMI-eArc for my soundbar. Every single time. I've looked up this issue and many people experience the same thing with many models of Hisense TVs. Hisense says it's an issue with a power saving feature but they won't fix it. It's been years that this his been happening to people and I can't believe my brand new $900 TV with updated firmware is still having the same issue. I know Hisense had a bad reputation with their first TVs but I was risked it with this TV because of the features and price but I regret this purchase. Their customer service is completely unhelpful and I will recommend my friends and family to avoid this brand.

Also, network adapter was faulty open installation and they had to replace it.

Google TVs are horrible!!!!!!!

All these Google TVs are so bad. Will not connect to your iPhone to turn on and turn off the TV keeps turning off definitely returning this. go with Roku operating system never had any problems with my old tv. I hope this isn’t the new thing where Roku is making their own TVs and now you’re getting Google.

Save yourself the trouble!!

The TV stutters and pixelates all the time when streaming with YouTubeTV. I had a older TLC model side by side on the same network and the TCL worked perfect while the this one was not even viewable. Support is even worse, continue to ask for the same information over and over and never help you.

Such a Promising TV

As well as the TV is known for bricking "google tv" on loop until you use a usb and hard reset the TV to factory settings.

Fragile screen damages easily

Be super careful pulling off the protective film where it contacts the tv screen. Do not pick the film on the screen itself and pull the plastic film off very slowly otherwise you will damage the tv screen. Hisense screens are VERY fragile. I am going with another brand after having this happen twice despite being careful.

The second was replaced when the display was mottled. The store took care of me in both cases--but I've bought my last Hisense. I'm back to LG (where I should have stayed).
