At first I was disappointed and was seriously considering returning the tv. The picture started off very bright and overwhelming and just not good. But after continuing to research and refine all the settings, and there are a bunch to find the picture is now outstanding. Great color, black blacks, very good contrast. I like watching baseball and the motion handling and lack of blur is great. The sound from this tv is also very good. I have a bose sound bar and tv is very competitive, except for the bass. The tv sound actually has very good separation and spacial sound. The reflection handling is pretty good but we have a eastern facing wall of windows and if you're from the screen at those windows there some glare. But not enough that tv brightness doesn't get overpowered by the reflection. My kids and grandkids have gamed on it with a ps5 and they were bown away with the performance. And they game with a gaming pc and monitor too. All in all it's the best bang for the buck tv on the market in my opinion. Get 1 while you can.

This TV has everything that I need and I love that this TV is built for movies gaming and streaming. The visual quality on it is amazing and the 120hz really do come in handy whenever I’m playing on my Xbox it makes everything look way smoother that what I’m used to. And the audio make everything sound so immersive. Overall this TV is the best purchase I’ve done and I recommend others to purchase it too.

5/5 for image quality and price. 1/5 for the TV's software. Let's start with the goods: superb image quality; local dimming and the high brightness make for an incredible looking HDR experience with deep blacks that nearly rival an OLED and without the downsides of most OLED (burn in over time, limited brightness unless you go for the 77" $4-5k G4...). Cons: while it seemed nice at first to have Google TV integrated the integration from Hisense is garbage. I can live with an interface that isn't as quick fast as a dedicated Apple TV/Chromecast but Youtube drops frames at least once per second making anything quickly unwatchable. Plan on buying your own Apple TV/Chrome Cast; while it adds to the overall cost the experience is much better and the TV is still an amazing value. Even with an Apple TV I noticed frame drops here and there watching Disney + videos; they turned out to be caused by the TV's motion interpolation....just disable it and you're good to go. In terms of sound it's relatively decent as far as built-in TV speakers go but I quickly got a soundbar for it. With all those caveats I would still highly recommend it especially when it's on sale.

Great picture! Easy to use remote. When connected to my receiver the volume control on the remote works the volume on my receiver. How awesome since one remote works all I need to enjoy the Google tv apps along with my added tv apps with sound from one remote. Im not a gamer so I can’t state anything about that. Purchased from Best Buy with free delivery. A must buy for anyone looking for a great tv without soending $2000.00 or more on one. The vouce control is also great when changing ota channels to Google apps. Cant say enough about how good this tv is. I can’t say anything negative about tbis tv. Purchased on sale fir $1399 one week ago. Hope this helps in your tv buying.

So far the experience has been good. It was mounted on a wall, using a swivel mount. The TV set up was relatively simple. I'm still adjusting to find just the perfect settings for me. The colors are good, the brightness enough, and I'm getting good contrast. Satisfied so far!

Coming from the Sony ecosystem, I was very surprised by the picture quality of the Hisense U8 tv. I did the research, watched lots of reviews, and spent countless hours in front of the demo units. After 4 mos of deliberating, I finally made the decision. And I'm glad I did! The picture quality rivals that of the oled displays offered by giants Sony, Samsung, and LG. The menu system is intuitive, allowing me to tweak the picture to my personal taste. Plenty of hdmi inputs with an eArc for my sound system. If you're in the market, get at least the 75in, or if you have space and the budget, the 85in. You won't be disappointed!

This TV is excellent. Brightness and contrast are outstanding and you will have the most beautiful 4k images that will knock your socks off. Setup is less than 5 minutes and navigation is so easy a child could move through it. The VRR game mode is amazing you will say oh man everytime you play your favorite games. I have mine connected to an Apple TV and with Dolby Vision get ready to pretend you are in a theatre. Read your Reddit and Digital Trends and you will see this tv as "dangerously close to OLED". Yup it is and you will see.

Picked this up in May. It was open box. Under $1000 with tax and 5 year service. An absolute no-brainer. Replaced a 73 inch Mitsubishi Rear Projection. As you can imagine it was a quantum leap both in brightness and resolution. Old sound bar went to the garage. This thing has a sub that is rather amazing with the tv on a stand in the corner of a big room. The bass propagation is impressive. The only negative is my wife bogarting the remote so I have to sit through hours of victim tv until she falls asleep. I have only made a handful of reviews in my lifetime and this tv deserves one.

The 75"Hisense U8 Mini LED TV exceeded my expectations. For the price point, I didn't expect the contrast and vivid colors. I really like this TV and glad for the purchase. The only negative so far is the Google TV can be slow and hang up at times. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this TV.

Superb TV at almost any price, and the sales prices was exceptional. Brightness and HDR are exceptional. All the newest sound and visual technologies are available. The TV speakers are good enough that I've felt no need to plug in a sound bar. We have 3 Hisense TVs in the house, the oldest of which is 8 years old. That one is still terrific, and I use it both as a computer monitor and TV. I'm a big fan of Hisense.

It's an easy 5 stars - especially if you get this unit on sale. Large swath of settings. There is a bit of a learning curve on maintaining picture settings across multiple inputs. I constantly find myself adjusting based on what I'm playing or watching...which is both a curse and a blessing. If I knew the picture only came a certain way and I accepted that, I would not be constantly striving for the best picture. That being said, it becomes an obsession to perfect the picture because it gets better, better, and better. Great for gaming and probably the best picture you can get without getting into OLEDs.

I was hoping it was 7/10 of an OLED TV, considering the price point relative to a good OLED like the Sony A80l TV that I own. And it definitely hits that spot. I'm still a little disappointed I the viewing angle, which grays out quite quickly if you are sitting non-centered. All in all, the picture is quite satisfying for the price. You definitely wouldn't mistaken it for an OLED, but it's definitely worth the price of admission. The picture can get very bright. The remote lights up as soon as you pick it up. The center stand works well, vs the twin-sided stands of most TVs that are 75". All in all, I expected better with regards to the picture, but all the features make up for the lack of picture quality.

I am 100% satisfied with this TV with its great picture quality and sound plus the os Google tv is smooth and responsive zero lag and playing games on it is impressive and the Game bar menu is perfect for gaming.

This tv has been amazing. My husband bought it because he wanted a tv that had limited glare, and that's exactly what we got. It has great picture quality, built-in sound, and is very user-friendly. For the price, you can't beat. I can't speak to any of the technical stuff because all I care about is how well it works, and for me it works great. Highly recommend this tv.

Went to bestbuy to buy a different tv, then i saw the quality of picture on this tv and had to have it. Great tv so far, quality seems to be great, setup has come a long way, one plug in the eark hdmi and up and running. We added a surround sound of the same brand to enhance the experience and what a difference. Overall very happy with the experience at bestbuy and the staff to help with all my questions. Would definitely recommend this tv to anyone looking for a great picture quality.
