Customers often highlight the exceptional picture quality, including deep blacks and high contrast, as a major strength of the 75" Class U8 Series Mini-LED 4K UHD QLED Smart Google TV (2024). Many also praise its ease of use and the value for the price. While some mention the TV's weight as a potential drawback, others note occasional issues with the user interface responsiveness.

Happy with the purchase. The screen looks great and has deep blacks. Watching movies and gaming on it has been transformative coming from a 42" cheap 4K TV. There really is a major difference. The remote it comes with is designed very well and works on other devices connected to the TV, which is pretty nifty. If I included the Google TV in my rating, however, I'd knock it down a star. I noticed the occasional stutter watching Poor Things on Hulu and Pirates of the Caribbean on Disney+ during slow camera movement, for example, and it has given us trouble with account authentication, so we switched back to using a FireTV Stick 4K for streaming. Blurays on this, like The Lord of the Rings ultra HD release, look perfect.

Big, bright, and impressive. The picture gets insanely bright with great contrast, making movies and sports look awesome. Colors pop, blacks look deep, and it’s excellent for gaming with 120Hz and HDMI 2.1. Sound is better than most TVs this size, but a soundbar still helps. If you want a massive screen with premium performance without paying OLED prices, this one’s a winner.

This is awesome 75 inch screen. I feel like I’m at the movie theater all I need to do is add some surround sound bite the friends open and get some popcorn. The picture is so crystal clear I feel like we’re inside the TV. This is awesome.

This TV is awesome for the $$$ price, looks great both day and night.... looks just as good as Sony Bravia 7, I can't even tell the difference looking at both at the store, nobody is going to stare at the black shadow details watching a TV anyways. The sound is great and its subwoofer definitely puts out noticeable bass, but a sound bar system would be better of course. Now I just need to put it thru the test of time and decide when to get the 85". This TV also looks great with the center base and well built, it looks bold, unlike those two little chicken legs most TV has.

Really have been enjoying this and the quality is amazing. The occasional glitch happens but that is more likely due to wifi than the tv itself.
No complaints running old movies, nature documentaries, or new video games, love Google tv and would recommend.
Like all tvs it is best with a soundbar but even without it sounds fantastic.

We normally buy far more expensive televisions but this model has an excellent picture quality and the blacks are just as deep as the far more expensive tv's. We are very happy with the purchase!

I have had the 75" tv (75U8N) for about 3 weeks. Was slightly nervous on the brand, but the reviews were outstanding so I went ahead and bought it. I needed a bright tv because I have a lot of windows in the room. This tv is all that I hoped for and more. Very bright - great viewing from side angles for the big room. I haven't had any issues at all. So far I am extremely happy. And the price point I got at Best Buy on sale made this a no brainer. I did add a line conditioner just to add a level of safety with the power in Florida and the storms we have here. It is a bit heavy and it is better to have 2 people to get the stand on and lift it to put it on the tv entertainment furniture.

Great TV. One of the brightest, clearest pictures I've seen in a TV. Like all new TV's you have to experiment to see which settings best meet your personal preferences. Changes were easy and it didn't take much zero in on the settings we liked best.
One minor annoyance. If you use a soundbar, when you change the volume, the volume display on your TV will only show a "+" or "-". It will not show a bar telling you the volume level or a number telling you the volume level. You can control the volume on your soundbar through the TV remote, you just don't get the visual reference you may be used to from other TV brands.
I spoke with Hisense Tech Support. It's an issue with the firmware of Hisense TV's. They apparently made the change last year to be more compatible with other brands of soundbars.
The rep told me this is a complaint they're getting often and hopefully a future firmware update will address it (no promises).

Good image quality with smooth refreshing rates and vibrant colors, the only issue i have is that sometimes it refuses to turn on, it doesn't matter what you do, i have to unplug and reconnect and then sometimes i have to wait regardless and then all by itself turns on.

Great tv..bought it for the picture quality after all the youtube reviews videos we seen. We had an 86 inch LG but the picture quality was sub par. The picture of this tv is crisp, well defined and the colors are rich. The sound quality is also fantastic. Good high quality tv for a decent price.

The colors are very vivid, the brightness is spectacular and the image quality is generally excellent and the blacks are much better than expected, nothing to envy from an OLED.

Great TV overall. The picture quality is sharp and colorful, and HDR looks excellent. Google TV is easy to navigate and quick to set up. Sound is fine on its own, but works best with a soundbar. For a 75”, the value is hard to beat.

Great picture quality, and a very affordable price! My only grip is that Google TV operating system seems very slow compared to how zippy and fast my Apple TV is.
For gaming this TV is pretty good. Doesn’t match the electric quality but at the price you can’t complain! It’s certainly better than some of the other budget brands. I personally prefer the Google operating system compared to Samsung and LG. Sony has obviously better quality and processing, but the price is too high.

The product itself is bery good. The picture quality is stunning from about 10 ft back. The closer you get the picture begins to blur whichbis normal I suppose. The sound quality is suprisingly very solid and can get incredibly loud. I have the 75” version so the viewing angles are solid. Would recommend this tv for those that want high quality at a mid range price.

Originally I was planning to buy a Samsung or LG OLED, but in the store this TV caught the corner of my eye with its incredibly vibrant colors and sharp image. I’m no expert but I’m not disappointed with this purchase. I’m now able to enjoy watching some amazing 4k content as it was meant to be seen. As with all flat panel TV’s the speaker sound is meh, so you’ll want to consider a good soundbar to go with it.
