I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get the 75 inch when they came in stock for a short while at Best Buy in December. First, I had read all the interviews about what a great TV this was and how it was close to OLED with its blacks and deep colors. I think at first, I expected it to blow me away with all the reviews, but it didn't. The picture in 4k was amazing no doubt but my issue at first was with SDR and getting it to look right. I finally ran across FOMO's calibration settings on YouTube and boy did that change everything! Once I dialed in his settings the picture looked incredible. I will say this TV like every other has its quirks with occasional stutter and Macro blocking, but it is rare and for the most part everything looks great. At this price point the u8h is hard to beat. Love this TV and I will tell everyone when it comes to a big purchase like this get the extended warranty. Hisense covers it for 2 years unlike TCL and I got another 3 years with the Geek Squad warranty. If you can get this TV believe me it's worth getting, there's a reason it stays sold out. Left out one main thing about this TV, it's the brightess TV I have ever seen.!

This TV is a rock star. The black levels and contrast are deep. The colors pop! The gaming is 120. Motion needs a little work but not bad overall. Very good product!

The brightness & color accurate as advertised. This is a great TV with Mini-LEDs, which you could find a lot of high ratings. With OLED still being on almost 50% additional cost. This TV does meet the mid range budget standards.
The only down side is this 75" is hard to get! I check almost 2 times per day on BestBuy. I bought mine on 2nd day of the Month....

Best of the low cost TV's. There are software issues that you have to overcome when you connect to latest Gen consoles. The screen would go black when I started up or closed out an HDR game. I had to do some manual software updates to get it to work and still has some issues. Settings seem to change on their own so you have to watch that. Getting the right picture settings can take a minute or two to figure out. But I watched RRR on Netfix and WOW it look great!!!! TV is super bright. I have to turn it down or it hurst my eyes!

I have had this tv setup and running for the past 2 months. I have no regrets with it. The tv looks to be very color accurate and is great for playing games on an XBOX. It is fast and responsive. Movies also look really good. If you want to watch in a bright room this tv will do it and you can lower it's brightness and for a dark room and still have an amazing picture.

Some people are probably better videophiles than I am, but I was looking to upgrade 12 year old LCD in the basement area. I had looked around a lot and the RTings.con reviews of Hisense were outstanding. So I made the purchase. Higher end at not the name brand price tag was a big selling point, which allowed me to go to 75” at an amazing price point. Now my kids, who weren’t fans of the basement, want movie nights. Watching IMAX cuts in Disney+ has been a treat. I really recommend this.
I can’t comment on sound as I have a Sonos system connected. I remember the initial test slightly, because this TV does have a sub in the back. It’s ok. But TVs like this need sound bars minimally.

Never really looked into a Hisense TV but I'm glad I did. I've had Samsungs and LG, but they were just basic TV's. I ended up buying this one after research and I do not regret it. Simple to use and software is fast. Colors look great and when gaming it looks amazing. I've tested multiple games and I have not experienced any input lag. The only thing I had to adjust one time when playing games was when I hooked up my gaming laptop. There was motion blur so I had to adjust that setting on the TV. Once I did, it was perfect. Definitely not your basic TV. Setting up was super easy. Definitely recommend!

This TV is gorgeous and I have yet to experience any serious problems. The built in Google TV works pretty great considering it's what comes on the TV. It can occasionally be a little sluggish, but it's hardly noticeable. Nothing an upgrade to a Shield or Roku wouldn't fix, but it doesn't seem necessary.
It has worked great for my gaming needs as well, although, I would never play an FPS on a TV like this, it has worked great with RPG's/Action RPG's and the like.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase thus far. I would definitely recommend.

Overall great tv, probably can’t find anything better for the money. I definitely recommend getting this tv if you don’t want to break the bank and still have a great tv. I do have a C1 LG and and B2 LG and the black on the U8H definitely are close to OLED levels with minimal blooming.
Pros- amazing brightness
Minimal blooming
Great sound
Cons- motion processing could be better
Initial setup is could be simpler.

I went through a lot of reviews and videos before purchasing, and decided to go with the rtings pick for mid-budget, the U8H. This thing absolutely blows me away in terms of image quality. Coming from a a 4k projector set-up (Optoma UHD50), the Hisense is literally night and day. HDR content on this from a proper source looks life-like. Using the Google TV interface is familiar coming from chromecast and works just as expected for me. For the price, I honestly don't think you can do better, unless you splurge for OLED.
Speaking of which, that brings me to the one drawback, local dimming. Actually it's both a positive and negative. When it's on and working as intended, you'll be hard-pressed to not be impressed as you see a sunrise in FF16 or the newest Netflix movie. However, it can be distracting at times when the scene switches for majority dark to light and you can see the local dimming turning on and off in real-time. I'm not sure if this is intended, but I can definitely tell when it switches. If you're mainly watching tv and movies, you probably won't notice. But it is pretty annoying when playing a game like FF16. Still, a minor gripe for all the other amazing benefits of such an affordable tv

Truly excellent tv. Installed by Best Buy installers. They were very quick and courteous and did an excellent job. The tv is truly excellent. It has excellent color (saturation) and all the the faults though minor with the previous tv are gone. Like the previous tv had minor trouble with following action scenes and some minor trouble with streaming...all gone. The television was also excellent at controlling glare. Basically it came down to a Sony X95K and a Hisense 75U8H and the Hisense won and I couldn't be happier. Sony has a problem with their pricing. They control the price at the retail level. It's approx. $3000 while Hisense doesn't (I understand) it's about $2100. Hisense will play on retail pricing to about $1500 where Sony won't unless everyone does.

I had this TV for about a day or so and had to send it back due to issues with it. Don't get me wrong, this TV is freaking awesome. I have the 55" in my bedroom and it works great. My issues with this one was the 75" seems to be lesser quality that the 65 and 55" versions. The colors are washed out, the sound was no better considering it's a larger tv so speakers should be a bit bigger right? There was a VERY loud and disconcerting click when you shut the TV off(sounded almost like the TV was about to blow up), and lastly, it did not play well with the PS5. Everyone raved about how well this TV worked with the PS5 but I didn't see it. They have a issue with VRR not playing well with local dimming so you have to turn off local dimming to get VRR to work and their was noticeable flickering in games. Now could these issues have been just this TV, yeah, but one issue that is not limited the TV I bought is the gaming issue. That is STILL and issue that has not been fixed yet by Hisense. Everything else, yeah, could have just been bad luck on my part. Now onto the actual bad of this TV that many people are not telling you about. HDR and Dolby Vision content looks outstanding on this TV. Everything else below that quality, really bad color banding in the screen and a bit of posturization. Sadly there is nothing you can do, not even Hisense can do anything about it because they chose to use a 8bit panel with FRC. Basically it's an 8bit panel that tries to fool you into thinking its a better panel than it is by artificially increasing the colors from, roughly, 2 millions to 10 billion. The issue with that is the human eye can only see about 1 million colors. So to do this is a waste of time and does nothing but hurt the quality of the panel. Bringing you back to the sound quality of the TV, the sound on this TV is just amazing. The built in subwoofer actually works and brings you some good quality low tones but it will still wash out if you go too high on the volume. But overall the best quality sound I have heard to date on a LCD TV. Now if Hisense could just get that picture quality to match the sound they would have a winner. It's rumored their new K line is supposed to be better but I have already heard one reviewer mention color banding in their new U8K so I'm not holding my breath they used an actual 10bit panel this time. If it wasn't for the issues this TV has I would have given it 5 stars.

I was a little hesitant at first not knowing too much about Hisense. After extensive research, I decided to try it out. It has all the features I was looking for with an agreeable price tag. I've had it a week now and tested it out daily with streaming services and on my PS5, both of which looks and sounds amazing. The real test will be how long it lasts

We have had our Hisense U8H 75" tv for near 300 days now. We don't use latest gen console gaming, but what we do see is a great picture for its price. The blacks are deep and the colors are bright. We use a sound bar with the TV but when occasionally using the in-tv sound, it was adequate to good. I do not regret this purchase and can whole heartedly recommend this product.

Let's start by saying that REALLY wanted the LG C2, but after consulting my wallet, I had to find the next best thing, and I do believe I've done just that. My basic wants were a 75" 4K TV that had Google TV, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. I am upgrading from the 55" Vizio M-Quantum (2019). While the contrast is not OLED quality, OMG it is quite the upgrade coming from the Vizio. It has blown me away with everything I have shown at it. I don't have any issues with glare, it was easy to mount, and it's really responsive. The remote definitely leaves some to be desired, however it does it's job. I am new to the Hisense family, and while I have heard some negative feedback from family and friends, they were quick to point out that this is not only a flagship model, but it comes standard with a 2 year warranty. So far, my experience has been flawless.

Sound and picture Quality are amazing. We moved from a 65" to 75" and it really makes it easier to see what's on the screen from our couch. Gaming performance, especially with PC or PS5 are great. Has all the gaming features you need really. Our old low end 2018 Hisense Roku Tv that still works fine was moved to the bedroom so I figured we would get another Hisense.
The only issue we have is with the Google interface locks up daily and we have to turn it off and back on. Considering a Roku 4k for a more stable experience.

Great picture, but watch some YouTube videos on best picture settings to get some guidance (helped me a lot). Bright enough for rooms that have a lot of ambient lighting. Several reviews talked about poor sound quality. Sound is not the best, but it isn't as bad as some made it out to be.

The picture on this TV is remarkable in 4k HDR. I am not quite as impressed with it in SDR on satellite. The upscaling is OK, but not great. It takes some time and tinkering with the settings to get it dialed in. Thankfully there are plenty of options to tweak picture settings. All in all I would recommend the set if you're willing to play around with settings.

I watched so many YouTube videos on TV’s for days before I decided to buy one . To find the very best one. all the Top tech pro reviewers raved about how awesome the U8H was . So I bought one to try it out for my self . And After trying this TV out the last couple days . I can honestly say this is the best tv I ever owned . I also own the Sony X900H and the Hisense U8H literally destroys it . And I can’t believe I’m saying that because I love that tv as well. The U8H 75 inch has exceeded my expectatios. The U8H will beat tv’s at the $3,000 price point even . Go get yourself one and you will understand what im saying . I hope this review helped you make a decision.
