    Bought nov 2020 tv turns off. Had to buy total tech support to even get it looked at.

    This TV is amazing. Clarity simply beautiful to you can see such deal. I enjoy watching all my favorite shows and I feel more connected because of the beauty and clarity my tv brings into my living room. I enjoy inviting family n friends over to watch movies or events

    After a month of studying large TV's, this one seemed to check all the boxes, and then when I saw the price get knocked down by $700 on Cyber Monday I took the plunge, sight unseen since my closest Best Buy store didn't have one. Took about a week to get it was all. A couple of nice surprises. Number one, the screen is more matte than glossy. Considerably less reflections than the Sceptre 75 inch it replaced, which is a good thing in the well-lit room where it sits. This makes a big difference to me, it's a LOT easier to see what's actually on the screen rather than fighting through reflections. Number two, the headphone jack audio can be set for a constant level, unaffected by the TV's volume or mute button, and what's more, plugging into it does not cut off the speaker or soundbar audio. That means I can plug in my Sennheiser wireless headphone base station and leave it plugged in. When I want to use the headphones, I just turn on the head set, mute the TV, and control the volume on the head set. No need to get up and fiddle with plugging anything in or digging through any menus or anything like that, it works precisely the way I need it to work. Analog outputs are becoming scarce on new TV's and most companies are advising an optical-to-analog converter if you need this functionality. Thank you HiSense for keeping this common-sense capability that everyone else is abandoning. I was worried that the size of this set would overpower my living room. I mean, the 75 incher it replaced seemed about right. Compounding this fear was the size of the box for this thing. It sat in my garage for a couple weeks before I could even talk myself into setting it up, because that box just looked so huge. It had me second guessing my decision. But I finally unboxed it and set it up and it's actually very nicely sized for the room. I use it as a computer monitor from about 12 feet away, and it's noticeably easier to see, without overpowering the room. The two positions for the feet is another nice feature. So many of these big sets are coming with feet that are roughly sixteen feet apart and are pretty useless since there's essentially no furniture wide enough for them. The choices then become adding an extra cost pedestal stand that bolts to the VESA mounts or going with a wall mount. HiSense on the other hand offers a second, narrower mounting position option for the feet that puts them only 34 inches apart. This worked out perfectly for my 38 inch TV stand/cabinet. It's nice and stable, too. I've got it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar via HDMI/ARC and it works perfectly. The sound bar turns on and off with the TV and the TV's volume control inputs are passed down to the sound bar. I have not yet played with the Android stuff, I use a Roku box and it provides all the Smart TV functionality I need. But it looks like there may be some interesting functionality available and I'm looking forward to exploring. Likewise I haven't yet fiddled with the Bluetooth capability. I'm more than happy with the picture quality, although I'm the first to admit I'm no videophile and that's perhaps the least important aspect of the TV for me. The fractional difference in picture quality from one modern TV to the next does not affect my viewing pleasure in the slightest. The functionality and size and lack of reflectivity are far, far more important to me, and on those points it hits a home run. Bottom line, I'm very happy with my purchase.

    After reading all reviews, I decided to buy this tv. I do not regret it , pretty nice tv , it has so many apps and the resolution is pretty good, great color and picture. It's exactly what I wanted. So worth the money!!

    Worst TV I've ever owned. I have a TV that is 20 years old in my house, still fine. This one (85H6510G) that I bought less than 3 years ago? Trash. It's the biggest paper weight you can imagine. After an automatic update, it started to shut off after about 20 seconds, over and over, so I called Hisense. They said to call a local tv technician. That sounded like it would cost about the same as a smaller sized television, so I looked up an alternative. On the Hisense website you can look up a new update and download / unzip it to a Fat32 USB drive, then manually put a new update into your tv with the hopes that it will be better than the update that broke it. Well, the update loaded and installed from the USB (about 8 minutes) without the tv turning off, so I was excited. It's the most longest the tv had stayed on in days. And afterward, to my surprise, the TV turned off and never turned back on. It is a black screen and the power buttons (on tv and on remote) do absolutely nothing. Hisense, through updates, wants to make sure their product does not last. Strange business model maybe, but I am guessing they will change their brand name soon and hope no one puts two and two together.

    The picture is decent for the price, but the software is garbage. Mine has gone into a reboot loop, and it basically turned it into a huge paperweight. Buy a different brand next time.

    Purchased it in December of '20, got home last night and it was dead. Meanwhile, I have a 13 year old Samsung plasma that's still alive and kicking. This will absolutely be my last Hisense product.

    I purchased massive television less than 3 years ago & the back light has already gone out. There was only a 1 year factory warranty on the television & I didn’t purchase an extended warranty because I didn’t imagine that it would be a black rectangle on my wall with no picture. Keep your money, worst purchase I ever made. Poor quality & craftsmanship.

    This TV lasted 2 1/2 years YUK! Can't get any help with repair service either..for almost a year. I thought I purchase a warranty but guess I didn't.

    I was really excited about the tv but now I'm really disappointed, poor imagen if you are upgrading from 720 or 1080 maybe is for you, if you already own a good 4k tv don't buy. It looks very white, in dark scenes you can see every pixel, it has a program that optimizes the imagen but every time it activates (several times) the tv glitch, some times it makes a bad imagen instead of improving it. The sound it's like when you see a pirate movie recorded from the cinema. Every movie app looks diferent , the Netflix vovies whith double vision looks very well , Disney and Amazon movies don't look very well , old movies look bad. A big tv a big problem , It's heavy and difficult to move, due to it's size you need 3 strong people for carry it out and a big truck, so in order to return to the store I have to pay some one; it is a waste of time and money. It's the first time that I made a purchase at best buy, it is a bad experience no only for the tv but also because the return policy is 15 days, I had bought in other stores whith a return policy of 1 month

    Do not buy the recommended wall mount

    Do not buy the recommended Sanus tilt wall mount, it isn't big enough. You need a mount that supports a 400x800 pattern. I'll leave this review up until BB changes their recommendation. As of now I'm waiting for a replacement mount so the TV is face down on my floor. I'll update the review when I finally get to turn it on...
