I've compared it to another TV of the same size from a year ago without mini-LED, and in practice, I wouldn't say it's a huge improvement. It's okay, but the technology doesn't make a big difference, at least not for everyday TV viewing.

Hisense 85 inch TV

It was packaged very nicely, I do have to say that. Picture quality is ok for a 4k television. Had to do some adjusting with the picture to get it where it looked good. I guess it’s worth the 1k price tag. You get what you pay for I guess.
