Pretty sure we got a broken TV delivered. But the customer service is amazing and so easy to deal with, such a good experience with the return. I give the customer service 5 stars

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had issues with power, every time I plugged this tv in my living room it would pop my fuses,and turn power off,so I had to run a extension cord from basement to tv in living room,once I powered it on,I didn’t like it at all, did some calibration from ratings websites but tv still looked whitish,I couldn’t get it to look nothing like the display inside Best Buy,then the menu was confusing as heck,and every time I switched the tv on,it would never be on the same setting I left it on.everything just looks washed out.i don’t know if there’s actually something wrong with panel or this is how they all are.

It is a more powerful smart tv than the Sony Bravias that I own. unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of use it now powers on by itself in the middle of the night every night. Factory reset didn't resolve and it's past the return window.

Broken fiber optic plug

The door to the optical plug broke. Cable so loose it falls out. Techs haven’t called back in a week. We keep calling. No response.

Insane TV for gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been using LG oleds for the past 5 years ive owned the B2 77, c1 55, c3 48 and most recently the c3 65. I decided to pull the trigger on the u8 because for the size and reviews the price was right. I only use Tvs for PC use - mainly gaming and I use a 4090. I tested out cyberpunk, horizon forbidden west, and forza 4 off the bat and after messing around with the various picture modes and settings I had found the right settings that absoloutely floored me. Though the size adds a ton of immersion the picture on this Tv once you find the right settings absoloutely rivals the c3 and I may even prefer it! The brightness and colors while gaming are insane. Im glad I took a chance and ended up with this TV, as long as it stays reliable and no issues occur. I tested out a few 4k videos as well and again the quality coupled with the size is unreal! For gaming I found that the HDR vivid mode and turning the brightness down to 70 gets a great picture. I was even using the IMAX mode without touching any settings in it and it made horion forbidden west look crazy. The input lag on these non gaming modes was just fine too! The hdr game mode looks good once you change some settings around! Im one of the biggest gamers out there and coming from me you have nothing to worry about with this tv if youre running a high end pc!
