We were missing this from our household DVD collection, so we decided it was time. A classic, hysterical favorite. I would not recommend for young kids, but is great for grown-up movie night.

Being a Mel Brooks fan from way back I had to have this Blu-ray to add to the collection. If you like silly, irreverent, with a touch of slap stick comedy, you'll love anything by Mel Brooks.

One of Mel Brooks' earlier movies. An entertaining re-imagining of historical events featuring such comedy greats as Madeline Kahn, Harvey Koran, Dom DeLuise, and of course, Mel himself. A movie from a time before political correctness.

HOW is Mel Brooks hilarious vision of history; anthology comedy written, produced, directed by Brooks...where he plays 5 different roles including Moses. Its all side splitting downhill comedy after that.

Mel Brooks is one of the great comedic movie makers of all time. He doesn't disappoint with this unbelievably funny movie.

Another bargain bin find! I always liked this movie it’s very a underrated comedy! This dvd is hard to find in stores I was very happy with purchase!

It's never going to win Blu-ray of the year, but it's a great film that deserves to be in any film fan's collection. Especially if you don't own the Brooks box set. These can be found for very cheap and will certainly be worth the 5 or 10 bucks you spend on it.

For how hard of a movie that this is to find, I love that I found it in DVD form. The movie is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Hilariously funny a movie that makes your sides hurt. The second part is good but not as funny as the first. I recommend History of the World Part 1 it never gets old.

One of Mel Brook’s classics. Moses with the 15 commandments is hilarious. Many cameos of well known actors. Highly recommended if you’re a Mel Brooks fan!

This is one of my favorite movies. I wish they had actually made the sequal History of the World part 2 (as previewed in the credits). One of Mel Brooks' best!
