I purchased this as a gift for a teenager, she loved the color and was happy to receive the gift, she has not had any complaints and isn't someone that cares about base in her music per say but I walked in the same room with her while it was playing and the volume was pretty loud, it could be heard from the next room but there wasn't any base, I'm not looking for booming sound or anything but just a little something to bring out the best in the music. I would recommend if base isn't something that you are concerned about.

Sound is fine, small enough to take around, but the battery life is just ok, and the connectivity is spotty. In hindsight, I should have bought the insignia brick w/powerbank.

Works very well for my needs. On/off switch on bottom is a little hard to turn on. Could be bigger

I saw this a week after I purchased another wireless speaker as part of the Deal of the Day and it works better than the other one. The other one would just randomly go out in the middle of a song so some parts of the song wouldn't be heard. So far no issue with this one. Time will tell.

Got it on sale for 10 bucks and it's worth it. There's some issue with the Bluetooth connection but I can't complain for the price. The sound is awesome for a small speaker.

when i ordered the hmdx i was a little hesitant judgeing from its size i figured how much sound could come out of such a small speaker,when i got it and charged it paired it with my tablet,loged into my music account,and wow! very clear highs,bass not bad,very satisfied with purchase

I like to travel and I like to listen to my music in rental cars, hotels, and flights. Being Blue Tooth helps with conference calls or making calls while driving. This is so portable...I take it everywhere to the Pool, Beach and Patio. I will give as gifts to family and friends too.

I purchased this speaker as a "deal of the day", and was pleasantly surprised when it performed as well as my "jam Classics" speaker that cost more than 2x as much!

If I had paid full price for this I would have returned it. However at the deal of the day price it's an acceptable speaker for listening to music in the garage or yard. Compared to other speakers in this class there is virtually no bass but the highs and mid range are okay. The range on mine seems to be about ten feet. Any more than that and it starts to really cut out. The volume is adequate and there is little distortion at full volume but that is probably due to the absence of any real bass.

It is plenty loud for my application--a speaker in an office at work. I do wish the alert tone when it is cut on and off was not so loud but otherwise no complaints.

The bluetooth connectivity is good, the only thing that I don't like is that there is a delay when you use the speaker phone.

I have to say that I was quite hesitant to buy this because I've own portable Bluetooth speakers before and I had been disappointed until now, the price and quality are good and well sure there are better ones but you won't find a better Bluetooth speaker for this price.

I love my Hmdx - Chill Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I can't believe I waited so long to buy a portable speaker that I can move around/ travel with. I am in love with it! The output is great! I love the fact that it is not another bulky speaker taking up room on my shelves.

This speaker works well for my needs. The connection to my device was simple and the sound fills the room. Very small package that does not disappoint.

We purchased this cause we wanted some Christmas music playing outside of our house and it sounded so great. Great price and going to buy another as gift.

When i saw the size i was skeptical but after i tried it , I was very happy , great value.

was really surprised by the sound of this small speaker, bought it as an extra speaker to have on my desk, now use it in many different locations. I had bought in this price point others and this one blows them away for the price and sound.

This portable speaker was decent for the price but it wasn't very loud. I had a hard time using it when there was other noise around or people talking, etc. But for the price it worked.

I got these speakers for my students as a reward and they love it. It's compact and the sound quality is not that bad for the price that you pay.
