Good speaker for a college dorm or akwmrhjngike it.

Very inexpensive, paired easily with my iphone 6s. Very good quality sound for it's size and price, also has some nice bass to the sound. Several people have commented that it's loud. I would agree for indoor use it can play loud enough, but I bought this to use outside and on my deck. The sound is just fine outdoors. Would be nice if you could make it just a bit louder. You control the sound via your phone and also on the device itself, you press the + button repeatedly to increase the sound to the maximum. It produces a ding and cuts the sound off temporarily to let you know you've reached the maximum when you use the + button on the device. I bought this for a saw buck and a half. I'd really like to purchase a Boss, JBL, or beats, but for this price you just can't go wrong.

This speaker had decent sound, but would not maintain bluetooth connection. Then the sound went out completely.

I'm not sure how this speaker has such high ratings; maybe I got a defective one but the sound quality on mine was terrible--tinny and unpleasant. I returned it.

Too difficult to keep paired to my devices. I have to delete and re-pair. Sound quality not very good. I will take this back to Best Buy.

I saw this on sale for $20 and took a chance. Sound quality is excellent. Understand this is a $20 speaker and mono. I thought I would have to go higher end like Bose, but this speaker comes in a close second to a $100+ speakers I listened to. I listen to a variety of music. I'd say id does better on jazz and classical than rock. Sound clarity is outstanding and clean. Some have complained about not very loud, but I think it is fine. If I complained about anything it would be the bass is not great. It is OK to add color to the music, but no thumping bass and not very deep. Bluetooth connection has worked flawlessly for a laptop and 2 android devices. Only thing to remember is to disconnect from 1 device before trying another. You can tell it is connected by the 2 note rising chime from the speaker. Failure is descending 2 notes. Incoming phone audio is great, but other side of the connection can't hear my voice well. Finally, range is definitely no more than 30 feet with no obstructions like a wall or door. Once you get near the limit, the audio comes in and out or wavers. Again, for $20 bucks you can't go wrong as long as you know its limits.

I bought this to connect to my iPod so I could hear music through it. Not only did it fail to connect to that, but it failed to connect to any of my Bluetooth-enabled devices. Even after charging it there was still nothing. I exchanged it for a Jam 2.0 speaker for $7.00 more, but that one connected in less than a minute. If you want a nice Bluetooth speaker, do not get this one.

90% of the time won't connect Good sound when it does. Don't buy this.

It doesn't charge or even pretend to charge so I was never able to use it

It doesn't sound any better than the small built-in speaker, glad it was cheap because I don't use it.

blue tooth function does not work. have to wire connect to device in order to hear voice.

I purchased the Jam-Chill because it was on sale for a good price through bestbuy.com. I was never able to get the speaker to pair with any device, even after fully charging the speaker. I returned it in-store within a week and purchased a different speaker from Amazon.
