What wonderful imagination and adventure went into the making of this movie. I think people have waited a long time for this movie to finally came out, and truly it did not disappoint...

Although it might drag in parts, this is still a stunning movie to have for all of us Hobbit fans. It's a great prequel for the Ring Trilogy. A beautiful movie and beautiful in Blu-Ray.

My kids and I love the LOTR and so it was only natural to get the Hobbit as well. We were not disappointed with the movie at all. Great detail and so looking forward to the next movie!

I got the movie for my teenage sons and they loved it they had already seen it at the cinema so I thought they would just watch it once or twice., but no they have seen it many times!

How does Peter Jackson do it? In the tradition of "The Lord of the Rings." "The Hobbit" doesn't disappoint. There's so much visually to absorb, it will take multiple viewings.

If you loved the Lord of the Rings, then you'll love The Hobbit. Same genre, director, production value, etc. The story and acting are great and the cinematography is beautiful.

This is a beautiful movie, and we have been impressed by all of the recent Tolkien adaptations. We plan on getting the others in the trilogy as well as we can.

Initially bought this on DVD and then decided to get it on Blu-Ray because of the amazing cinematography. I highly recommend this movie to anyone that loves the LOTR movies.

My husband and I love the Hobbit; it's one of the few movies I've been able to get him to go see in the theatre. It's a great story, with great visual effects and great acting.

I love "The Hobbit" I've read and re-read the book for years. Although the movie story-line differs from the book, it's still a great plot. I look forward to the next segment.

I LIKED IT BETTER THAN THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY. LESS DRAMA AND MORE COMEDY. THE ACTION WAS MORE STRAIT FORWARD. THE BATTLES DIDN'T GO ON FOREVER LIKE THE OTHER MOVIES.

the hobbit is such a beautiful movie which tells the begining of the story of how bilbo baggins came across the one ring to rule them all such a great movie.

I was expecting to be disappointed with this movie. Although it was not as good as the Lord of the Ring Trilogy, it was still very good. Looking forward to the next two.

This is a phenominal adaptation of The Hobbit, and a great first movie to see for anyone who hasn't read the books and who plans to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Love this book and series. Not sure why the movie makers decided to make the shortest book of the series into 2-3 seperate movies, but can't wait for the next release.

Great casting, special effects and cinametograhy! I would not expect anything less from Peter Jackson. I am waiting with baited breathe for the remaining 2 films.

I'm glad to see Jackson finally made this movie. I can't wait to see Battle of Five armies in only 1 more week to complete this awesome trilogy!

I never buy a Tolkien movie unless it's the extended edition, and Peter Jackson does not disappoint. Tons of special features for hours of fun.
