    This movie was obviously made to impress people with its 3d action scenes and not with the acting ability of the characters, of whom only Gollum and Baggins display any such ability at all. The riddle game is worth watching several times. The rest of the movie is easily forgotten. I was told it follows the book closely, which makes me glad I never read the book in the first place.

    Overall a fun movie that is a bit shallow and does not live up to it's predecessor. Martin Freeman kills it as Bilbo.
