I can watch this over and over, just love the story telling and cant wait for the third installment to come out.

If you are a fan of LOTR, then this is a must see. It's action packed, has a great story line, and is a great prequel.

The extended version was great! For a true Hobbit fan, getting the extra materials is like icing on a cake.

The hobbit films are all great. The extended addition has additional behind the scenes footage as well.

I grew up watching the hobbit cartoon and it is nice to see it in a 3d movie. Can't wait till the next one comes out

The Hobbit is a long movie that is long for no other reason than to extend the story so they could make 3 movies out of a short book. The 3D is very good and though long the movie is enjoyable.

This extended version was definitely better than the theatrical version, but its still only a good movie and not great. At least not compared to LOTR movies. But still fun and entertaining.

I'm not sure that it should have take 3 movies to recreate the Hobbit, but this first portion is a good movie. If you liked the Lord of the Rings movies this will surely please you.

Good start to the adaption of Tolkien's classic. Still seems like it's a bit long for a relatively short children's book, but Peter Jackson has earned the next couple of years to complete the story.

Excellent movie where I can watch it via my Blu-Ray or DVD player as well as when I am on the move with Ultraviolet.

What's not to like? wonderful actors, High Adventure, Magic, evil and good. Promise of great riches and reward.

Though the extras are sometimes "fluff", PJ always seems to provide more fan service with his extra inclusions.

Another amazing film from Peter Jackson! Can't wait to see the sequel! Totally immerses you in another world.
