I loved the 3D effects, the action scenes were entertaining and exciting to watch. Great family movie too.

This is a great movie. It's one of those movies that you can watch again and again or just have it on in the background while you are doing something else. Great price, friendly staff.

Hobbit is one of our favorite DVD, along with Harry potter and the Lord of the rings.

I loved Jackson's version of the LOTR and have gotten to share these amazing stories and characters with my son. Overall, I could grumble at the "expansions" to the Hobbit, but this is a product review and not a film review... Suffice it to say it's a mixed bag, with some additions being great and others being a bit distracting. For the product itself, it was a gift that I ended up returning to get the fuller edition on blu-ray.

A little slow, but expected given it's only the first of a trilogy and it's just setting up the characters and story. Good special effects, although some of it is a bit too CG-ey.

I have enjoyed reading the books numerous times and also the movies. they create a picture I enjoy.

It is better than the first LOTR movie which was dull in parts, this was interesting and driven through out.

Excellent installment in the series! If you liked the original three movies you will enjoy this one
